I saw this musical January 22nd, 2020. It was a Christmas gift. It had such an effect on me and I think it will be a good force in the world. Not only for teens and young people but for a family relationships and for those who are considering suicide. Such a beautiful work of art!

I saw DEAR EVAN HANSEN this week. Everyone between the ages of 13 and 21 needs to see this for starters. This will win so many Tony Awards next June. Ben Platt is a shoe in for sure.

My wife and I saw the show on Friday Nov 18th. I gave it 5 stars. After seeing Beautiful almost 2-3 years ago,Hamilton in 2015,Waitress in 2016,I wondered if this show could could come close to these other shows. This show is a masterpiece and should not be missed. I seem to always luck out with the best shows. The cast was amazing,as well as the emotional story. I did not want the story to end,but I gave a resounding ovation when the cast took their bows. My advice to all people thinking about seeing Evan Hansen is, LOCK IT IN!

Ben isn't looking at Laura because he's 'in love' (tbh he might be but she has a boyfriend) but this is a song that every night of every week they would go out on stage and sing, and perform and kiss. And he's smiling because he enjoyed relaxing for once. Not moving around really. Maybe he's smiling out of sadness because maybe this will be their last time singing together. Maybe he wants it to be perfect and then at the starting line he looks up and smiles because he knows it will be.
