Another awesome video and beautiful shots like always. And btw, as a native (Brazilian) Portuguese speaker, I really enjoyed your pronunciation of "Cascais", accent was on point!
loved this video. only about photography and the journey you took while taking the photo. Loved your choice of music as well... gave me motiviation to share somthing i have as well. :D
Aww man, the train ride from Lisbon to Cascais is so nice! I think you would have enjoyed it. Kinda weird seeing places I walk by every week in one of your videos! You guys should’ve ventured into the older, more inwards side of Cascais instead of sticking to the coastline - photographically more interesting. Be sure to visit Sintra the next time you stop by.
Oh man....should´ve taken the "Marginal" road (N6) to Cascais instead of taking the highway. It´s a really beautiful route with the river/ocean right by your side.
Even those sceneries that are far away from the cliche street photograph, you still manage to give each image that special touch. Especially with that focal length. Would love to see some of Austins snaps with your editing on them due to the more documentary styled focal length.
Trust a photographer obsessed with the aesthetics that made him choose a "pseudo-intelectual" camera to make a beautiful, special and unique place look like anywhere else.
Faizal, another great video. I have the same camera and usually shoot in DNG 40MP. I have a few questions: 1. Do you shoot in DNG or JPEG setup? 2. Have you tried printing out some of the photos you took with this camera and under what setting? If yes, what is the largest dimension that you've printed that still retains optimal image quality? Any suggestions or comments are highly appreciated. Thanks.
Doesn't the quality of those photos lie in your composition, rather than that particular camera? Wouldn't any good camera or even top of the range camera phone produce similar images?
@@eimanhaiqal That's a fair answer and I presume you are correct. But where does this difference show up? Is there a print size where the difference is obvious? I'm guessing A3, perhaps A4 for some. It depends on the image.
@@apaul9776that's correct, you'll also be able to see the difference in quality digitally, for example a photo that was shot on medium format camera will look sharper, has higher dynamic range, greater image latitude and higher in it's megapixel than a photo that was shot on full frame camera.
@@eimanhaiqal Thanks. I wasn't 100% serious. It's more a reflection of my ability rather than Faisal's. I know that sometimes I can product a better image with my Fujifilm X100F than my Samsung S21Ultra... but usually I can't. I sometimes think of getting a Q3 but I would need to invest a lot of time in improving my technical knowledge and I am not sure that I would actually get around to doing this...
@@apaul9776 this wasn't even me trying to back up faizal, just tryna help you with the confusion. you not satisfied with your photos shows that you have high taste and very peculiar, technical is important but having great taste are just as important. as cliche as it sounds you just gotta keep shooting dude and you'll get the photo that you want eventually. cheers.
Ofc Leica!...If you got some bucks. But. Fuji film jpg-presets can produce same "artistry" over-saturated 7-8k Kalvin WB range photographs. If only i could afford Leica... Thanks for summer vacation mood, Faizal!
Man this is taking me back there. One of my favourite places in the world
Yep, still one of my favourite analog pictures taken in Caiscais back in 2013 ❤😂
Wow that shot of the smiling woman holding Elvis is amazing🥺✨
Thanks for that. I've been in Cacais every vacation the last 40 years. I love Portugal and Cascais.I'm from Solna in Sweden.
I think this may be my favourite video of yours so far. The photos in this one were unreal also. Keep it up!
I loved this video. The EPIC photos, Music, the lot 🤩
I was there a couple of weeks ago. I got some great photos too. Watching this video makes me want to go back.
Love that camera, love that lens. It carries an accent of retro, nostalgia without a forced filtered look.
Finally got to sit down and watch! What an amazing day man. So happy we went 🫶

I love cascais… great for photos, good, chill and vibes.
Beautiful weather overload.

The video lets me really get there! Some wonderful shots! And I really like the musical choices.
Absolutely beautiful shots. Makes me want to go back to Portugal
Delightful video. Love the small interactions. Makes me want to go out and shoot
This video is inspiring me to go out and take photo, and then come home open the photos and being disappointed. Awesome Video and Great shots!
I like the bag you wearing👍🏻
Fabulous 👍

Amazing video!

I can't believe he turned down a boat ride!!!
wow. luv ur eye man
Great to see three different people to take photos of the same spot 👍🏼 sometimes I had the Impression that @AVDIDIT is a fan of @JamesPopsysPhoto 😄
Damn, look at this guy... with the longer hair and all living like he's in a Wong Kar-Wai movie. Good thing he takes cool photos.
You guys are cool.
First of all it's pronounced Cash-Kai-Eesh. One of my favorite places on the planet. Did you make it up to Sintra too?
Can i get infor about your yellow bag?
wauwie!!
Austin's photos are not from a film camera? 😮
What a stunning video. You guys were able to capture the authentic essence of Porto. Bravo 👏 👏 👏
Good video
Like the LUT (self made ?)
Shots are okay, not really special but well done.
Enjoyed watching the video though.
Thanks for sharing
Come to Rio Faizal
Would love a silent video with only the ambient sound and your voice over. Its more immersive that way. The music can get a bit too much.

nope, sensor size and good lens make better quality image

How do refuse a boat ride and the opportunity to shoot more intimately? 🤦♂️
Should have hopped in the boat

I used to love my Leica M240 but then I got a dog and I needed to be able to shoot with one hand 😢
