What is the TFP2?:
The TFP2 stands for the Toxiquid Fighters Pass 2, and is a set of seven videos detailing how I, as well as some special guests, would make a certain character work in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This is complete with a moveset, stage, custom music (made by HighPoweredArt), spirit board, classic mode, and everything in between.
Characters in the TFP2: the Castle Crashers, LABO Man, Shovel Knight, Dr. Eggman, Hat Kid, Sora, and Hornet.
What is Shovel Knight?:
Shovel Knight is a 2D side-scrolling platform game developed and published by Yacht Club Games. Following a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign, the game was released for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo 3DS and Wii U in June 2014. (Wikipedia)

He would work great, because of the items like for the up B the propeller dagger (or whatever it was), the Armor wich could give him buffs for a few Hits (then the Armor would break) and his simple moveset wich fits perfectly into Smash Bros.

Surprised there was no green alt for Shovel Knight considering that's the player 2 colour palette but either way, the alts all look really good and I was so happy to see this since Shovel Knight was 1 of the characters I really wanted to see playable in Smash

What toxi and scruffy have in common

I had an interesting idea for a Shovel Knight moveset, in which he’s actually a duo fighter in tandem with Shield Knight. Unlike most duos (Ice Climbers/Rosalina and Luma), Shovel and Shield have a much greater emphasis on teamwork and covering each other’s weaknesses.
For instance, Shovel Knight is an expert in quick, versatile close quarters combat, but lacks an ability to defend himself from airborne threats. He can handle opponents to the side and dominates those below him with the Shovel Drop, but above him is a huge blind spot.
This is where Shield Knight comes in. Shield Knight provides the invaluable defense, mobility, and Aerial coverage that Shovel Knight lacks, but her moves are slower and relatively well telegraphed. They could even team up for a number of unique tandem attacks, such as a radial shockwave caused by Shovel Knight slashing Shield Knight’s Shield, or Shield Bouncing Shovel Knight upwards for a recovery!

Shovel Knight wins!
Victory Theme: A simple midi remix of "For Shovelry!", S.K.'s victory theme in his home game.
UP: Basically just his entrance animation. S.K. jumps from the left of the screen and points the Shovel Blade upwards, and continues to point it upwards then pull it back downwards in an infinite loop.
LEFT: S.K. wields the Shovel Blade in a way that resembles a guitar, doing hand motions to the victory theme, then walks away after the music ends.
DOWN: S.K. runs around the victory screen frantically, reaching upwards with his hand. Shield Knight then falls from the sky as Shovel Knight catches her.
And since I didn't do this for the first two, I'll do them right here right now.
LABO Man wins!
Victory Theme: The "MAKE" theme. Just like Joker and Cloud's victory themes, it loops infinitely and replaces the normal results display theme.
UP: LABO Man walks into the frame but then gets grabbed by some random hand from the sky and gets pulled out of the frame. (rip labo man :cri:)
SIDE: LABO Man stands infront of a lake and casts the fishing rod into the water, then reels it in to find that it dissolved in the water, facepalming in response.
DOWN: He falls. That's the animation. The whole thing. Right on his face.
Crasher wins!
Victory Theme: A sped-up excerpt of "Four Brave Champions", the theme of Castle Crashers. Specifically around the 0:44 mark. After this excerpt ends, it changes to "Race Around the World", and loops infinitely.
UP: Crasher walks up to a sandbag and, similarly to one of Simon's victory animations, infinitely repeats the combo of Light>Uppercut>Heavy, referencing the flight combo in C.C.
SIDE: Crasher walks up to one of the princesses (randomly picked) and goes in for a kiss, with their heads swiftly being obscured by a kill counter reminiscent of the one found in C.C., which shows a number corresponding to the amount of knockouts that Crasher had scored in the match.
DOWN: Does one of the four victory dances from C.C., randomly selected.

what if each special had an enhancable version if you hold the button
flare wand: flario wand (creates a small burst of multiple hitting fire that deals alot more damage, but looses all of it's range for a close range attack)
chaos orb: idk
propeller dagger: rising dagger (goes way higher, but has alot more start lag because the animation allows you to shift slight to the side like ness' double jump)
throwing anchor: tow anchor (throws a giant anchor that shovel knight holds onto like a ground pound. you'll become committed to the move once you use it so try not to pull a popeye with it)

Gonna be honest I don’t want many of these characters but the video for at is so nice. Gonna watch em all and subscribe.
for N-air the war horn makes sense due to the fact it covers al sides.
and yes dagger should be angeled.

Actually I thought the stage would be the Middle part of the village(tavern included) with some habitants moving around and some of them being interactive like the water bucket lady that can be a platform, or chester sometime giving items. But the video is great anyway. You are doing a great job

The up special is not the propeller dagger, it's the rising dagger, a custom knight relic unlocked with Amiibo.

Specter Knight would honestly work really well in Smash considering his vast arsenal and how hes movement based. Plague Knight would be cool as a hectic lightweight character.

Just curious, are you gonna wait until Silksong releases to make Hornet's moveset? I think that'd be the best move, since there could be many essential parts of her moveset we don't currently know about.

Hmmmm As a smash fan, I like this idea. As a Rivals fan, his moveset is more well made and his moves work very well together. Though I realize that smash doesn't do the same character creation as Rivals.

I like your moveset idea a ton! It breathes a lot of creativity, personly I would've allowed a gimmick of a magic meter. How would this work? First we keep your moveset entirely and simply make it so when Shovel Knight doesn't have enough magic for a relic he uses his shovel (dash becomes a shovel dash, upsmash becomes a shovel swing up, etc) similar to Hero magic is earned by dealing damage or slowly overtime
I was thinkin a magic meter as well, but considering I use relics in standards and aerials I don’t want to restrict those moves in any capacity

Mega Man has several non remixed chiptune music as well as some certain songs like Kirby's Retro Medley, some nes Mario Music, F-Zero's SNES tracks and a certain few Castlevania tracks. Sonic has unremixed classic music and there are a few retro tracks in the others section. I might be missing some though. Not saying anything negative, I am just a big nerd in a TH-cam comment section and fan of your content, surprised to see Scruffy here too.

Yeah but it’s just a hypothetical- we can look and see what it’d be like if he got upgraded to a fighter without it actually being in the game. That’s the nice thing about these videos
