I would add personal agency and autonomy to your idea of behind authenticity because the intimidating factor setting the tone for the animosity amongst the covetous types are all on the same accord about the how, who, why, and what sigma male types do to appliy this awareness of accentuating the best version of ourselves (our strengths in overall character), which allows us to be ready, willing, and able to approach any given situation with a just do it attitude and do it yourself aptitude, with a genuine aversion to advertising for attention or any other aspects of hidden agendas.
The one problem with this is that I have a hard time wanting to settle down with anyone, which has caused me to lose girlfriends and really question whether taking the path less travelled in life is really worth it sometimes.
That just means you haven't been with a girl who has treated you well enough to want to settle down with her. When you find the right woman, you won't want to go back to your life without her.
I would suggest digging into a few different personality types as well. INTJ and INFP are good ones to look at as well. INFJs have a huge amount of intuitive empathy. This means that they actually feel other people's emotions without knowing it. This means that they reflect people onto themselves often so people are intrigued but as those people get to know them they become confused and move on. It's actually very hard for many INFJs to know who they are because they feel so much and don't understand exactly why. Many INFJs are not very healthy due to this type of loneliness caused by not being understood. They also tend to have some trauma problems. A Sigma INFJ might be a type of INFJ that actually knows who they are and what they need and have healed their trauma.
I have never found being a sigma to get me much female attention. that said. the very few who have made the effort to get to know me have treasured me.

Well I see most of the traits that are listed in this video as characteristics that i can relate to very well as I have been a Lone Wolf most of my life. Needless to say this has given me a freedom that allows me to walk among the sheep without being affected by them and allows me to be my true authentic self which in turn has given me access to higher levels of self awareness that serve me very well, especially when I'm helping others along the way.
I am a sigma. I consider myself an ambivert but I tend towards the introvert side. My Myers-Briggs is an INTJ and my enneagram is 1 with a social instinct. Both of which align with being a Sigma. Lead by example worked wonders for me. Spent time as a drill sergeant and had success with minimal yelling and cursing. Oddly, I was the drill the trainees were afraid of which I found odd. As for ex girlfriends, I have none. I didn't buy into the whole dating thing in high school. I knew what I wanted. I met her in high school and married her shortly after graduating. That was in 1995. We are still happily married. Being a Sigma is not a bragging point. It is just a way of identifying how you see yourself and the world.

Something I used to love to do was to deliberately put myself in dangerous life threatening situations just for the trill. When I mean life threatening, I am not talking about bungee jumping. When I say that, I mean in places in other countries. I did not just live like that here in the US, never in the military though. This was before internet. I guess it was a good thing I got married, I had to stop, and my life became miserable and boring. Always chestpounding and being very narcissistic. The "Sigma" is more of a old school type person, fun and realistic. Prefers being a lone wolf over being in a crowd he dislikes. Chooses a lady very carefully according to his physical and moral standards, is smart about his economy.
A real alpha and leader isn't like that at all. I've seen my dad lead people and he is revered by many even after his retirement. He is firm and reliable with his decisions and people just naturally follow what he says. It's always fascinating to see how a real alpha controls an entire room with just simple words and gestures. His mere presence automatically shifts the mood of an entire room even he doesn't hold the highest position. You know his words has more weight than others. And he speaks like it's a command rather than a mere suggestion.

Something I used to love to do was to deliberately put myself in dangerous life threatening situations just for the trill. When I mean life threatening, I am not talking about bungee jumping. When I say that, I mean in places in other countries. I did not just live like that here in the US, never in the military though. This was before internet. I guess it was a good thing I got married, I had to stop, and my life became miserable and boring. However, I am a man of honor, I signed on the dotted line and I will fulfill my obligation and promise. No mater how much I hate it. I miss that life. I am so lucky to be alive today, really.

As a genuinely born sigma I hate the fact that people don't understand me, even my own parents that gave birth to me don't understand me. Being a sigma is not that enjoyable. To be honest when someone mentiones the so called "alpha" the first things I think of is pushing a door to open, the same door which opens on pull and kicking the dog because he failed to do so. Always chestpounding and being very narcissistic.
The "Sigma" is more of a old school type person, fun and realistic. Prefers being a lone wolf over being in a crowd he dislikes. Chooses a lady very carefully according to his physical and moral standards, is smart about his economy.
A real alpha and leader isn't like that at all. I've seen my dad lead people and he is revered by many even after his retirement. He is firm and reliable with his decisions and people just naturally follow what he says. It's always fascinating to see how a real alpha controls an entire room with just simple words and gestures. His mere presence automatically shifts the mood of an entire room even he doesn't hold the highest position. You know his words has more weight than others. And he speaks like it's a command rather than a mere suggestion.
