Sis coconut oil doesn't have any protien in it at all! It absorbs into the hair and scalp and coats with mimics protien but it isn't a protien. However as a hot oil treatment its benefits are phenomenal bcus of its nutrients and if you add other oils like olive it won't feel hard
Hi Angie. As someone who has become really invested in their hair growth I know it’s a bit late but I’m dying to ask do you recommend doing hot oil treatments on cornrows and how often if the answer is yes.
Hey love. I would only recommend a hot oil treatment on the day or day before you plan to take out your braids so you are able to wash out all the oil after wards 💖

I do my hot oil treatments every once a week, my hair is growing like crazy
