Tire is a Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S 295/65R15 with a -19mm offset wheel from amazon (American) racing which is way more than needed but the only offset I could find in that wheel size. Running 15s in the rear with 1320 wheels brake conversion! basically a billet caliper bracket with brakes from the 90s trucks
Thanks! Wheels are American racing ar172. Front tires are just 16-in all seasons and rears are Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S 295/65R15 with a -19mm offset which is way more than needed but the only offset I could find in that wheel size. Running 15s in the rear with 1320 wheels brake conversion!
@@bowtieenthusiast6672 LY6 or L96? or AFM equipped block / GEN3 block? Been trying to learn about LS's recently. Did you keep the 4L60e in there? Upgraded? Stock rear diff?
@@CornerOfTheOval this is actually an LQ9, older gen 6.0 than the ones you mentioned. This is out of a 2004 Escalade, referred to as a gen 3.5 no afm. Higher compression than the regular 6.0 LQ4 of the same generation, swapped a rebuilt 4l80, and a yellow spring limited slip diff from jegs
@@bowtieenthusiast6672 thanks a bunch for the reply, so does this mean that the block has the gen 4 pistons and head bolts? I had heard about these "kinda gen 4" engines and seems like you have one here haha
@@CornerOfTheOval correct the 04+ LQ9 has gen 4 rods with floating wrist pins and flat top pistons for more compression, also the newer head bolt design where they are same length

Your 6870 had wrong AR ratio. .70 is for a small 4 cylinder
Yeah it’s just what comes with the generic truck turbo kit from China lol, figured I’d give it a shot. Probably wouldn’t be bad on a 4.8!
