I have a Lennox wood master CT resaw blade I bought in 2017. It’s seen a lot of board feet. Still cutting well and never broke. The Timberwolf blades I used before this lasted 4 to 6 months
I didn't want to pay double the price so I bought the resaw king. Just saw this. Hope I didnt throw away a bunch of money. PS who resharpens carbide tooth bandsaw blades? Laguna won't even do their own blades anymore.
@MSRWorkshop So these carbide teeth blades cost five to ten times more than the cheaper counterparts. Do they last five to ten times longer? One reason I thought I could justify the expense was the ability to resharpen. But that no longer appears to be an ability. I actually bought the blade to cut some ridiculously hard wood. Quebracho (axe breaker) More than three times harder than Hard Maple. 4500+ on the Janka scale.

So you still have both the Jet and Powermatic? That would be an awesome luxury.

I’m not entirely sure, who re-sharpens

Carbide will easy last 5x longer than bimetal. In wood or plastic the life of carbide is practically unlimited as long as you never hit metal or dirt.
Very informative
Thanks 🙏
it looks like the jet bandsaw in the background. If so do you also use this blade on that?
@@paulluna45 I don’t.
I keep either a 1/8 on it or a 1/4 in blade on that one.
I use that saw for bandsaw boxes or tight cutting.
@@MSRWorkshop What 1/8 bandsaw blade do you recommend?
@@paulluna45 whatever you can find. Less teeth the better.
Most of the time I have ordered it direct from Timberwolf
Are these bands from Laguna breaking at the welded joint ie there not reheating or they just break anywhere which is painfull say the least.
I’ve herd some of both. I haven’t noticed one more than the other
Holy smokes Batman $248 for my Grizzly 19" bandsaw 143" blade.
