thank you, reconfiguring the system got around Sonos' lousy usability for upgrading to a new modem. I started from scratch after wiping out the old connections.
I go through all the steps app finds it "play 5 and serial number" then wait while it connects then Not connected. Tried wireless and ethernet any ideas?
Can't get my play 1's to work anymore. Sonos was great for a few years but now just disconnects and drops out. Tried everything but not happening, one of the speakers now has a hammer hole in the side of it!
I installed hundreds and probably thousands of Sonos speaker over many years and only see one, maybe two die. Maybe there was a simple things to do before the hammer hole.

I tried to reset my play 1 but it just keeps blinking orange.. It won't go green, i have been waiting for 10 minutes :/

That is the only way to reset a Sonos Speaker.

@@HowToPM Possibly but I feel much better now. Think I'll go down the Denon route once the shops are open again.
Mine did not respond just stay on white light
@@teamraggio7481 update, I didn’t switch over to Denon but bought Audio Pro system. What a difference, they sound great and work faultlessly.
