If you have a open kitchen/living room, do you need to do it also in the kitchen even when its far away from the speakers?

Hi thank you for all your video they are really helpful. I have a problem when im.doing trueplay it give me a error saying measurement problem. Do you know how to fixe that.
It's probably not silent anough in your room.
Maybe also the noise you make while moving.
I remember having trouble at my place because of floor craking.

We have the Arc plus a SW and two Play 1s in our home theatre room. Do I have to do Trueplay for each speaker first and then group them and run it again, or can I just run it as a 5.1 group?
When it is setup as a cinema, you only do it once.

Ok my question is: I borrow an iPhone from a friend, install Sonos app then tune with trueplay.
After this, what happens if I then use my android phone? How can I'll be sure that the calibration remains if I uninstall the sonos app from his iphone?
Basically the iphone is just a microphone for the system to calibrate itself. The configuration is not stored inside the iphone, it's stored in the speaker itself.
Given up on this, just constantly says a noise is interfering with it, tried it at 3am so no road noise, no noise at all, everything switched off, holding my breath, could not be any quieter, waste of time.
Hum. Maybe a problem with your phone. Try with someone else phone.

Mine doesn't show trueplay just eq then surround.... But surround doesn't have an option to calibrate... Please help
Trueplay is only available on iOS.
Is it correct that all the levels after callibration is “0”?
Yes I think it's normal. You can then readjust to your taste.
Have you done this with a calibrated mic?
Sonos calibrate the microphone of every iPhone model.
That is the reason why you can oly do it with iPhone.
There is to many android model.
If I have my stairs in my living room ( open plan ) will I have to go up the stairs half way ?
I would say it's not necessary.

I discovered that I had to remove and turn off my hearing aids for trueplay to work properly.
