I have a family of 5 on my property and they come right up to see me. So adorable. Love summer because I get to see them all summer. I put a few video shorts on my Channel but I'm going to start one just for them. They really are very misunderstood. I've had them pushing and shoving over food and still no spray and I've petted a tail already. Trust is key. They Really are neat little creatures. Never been sprayed and this is my 2nd summer with them all. 💕
Lollipop is so cute and inquisitive...and boy does she enjoy her food!!😂 I love to see it when less understood animals are given a chance to shine...they're all so special, and you always do a great job of showing it. Compilations of animals that we don't see as often, or are more unusual in their training and care would be cool.
My yard is planted as a forest edge with no lawn. I am really happy to have a skunk living under my porch, and she has kits this year. She is a sweetheart, and only makes a fuss when raccoons try to get her treats . It is lovely to see more of Lollipop so I can better place her treats.🖤🇨🇦
What a sweetheart! I've always loved skunks (possibly because I've never personally been sprayed by one) and it's so fun to get to watch her do her thing. She seems really happy at AW
She's an average size and weight, but some skunks can get quite big especially if they are able to eat loads of food. Wild skunks that have plenty of food available can easily be twice Lollipop's weight, and some skunks that are kept as pets get overweight very quickly.
You may also just be in an area with a different type of skunk. the hog nosed skunk for example can get over 3 feet long (around a meter), where as some species like the spotted get a bit under half that size.
@@maromania7 I thought that at first too, but then looked up what kinds I was likely to see where I'm at and they're the same species as lollipop. I just never get very close!
Also mythbusters actually did try the tomatoe thing to remove skink smell! But they had to use artificial skunk smell as the captive "stunt skunk" they hired was so chill it just didn't care what they did to it or around it, and of course they didn't want to hurt or seriously distress the stunt skunk.
Thank you Lollipop for a heart felt smile amd laughter! Host is not only beautiful but smart as well what a great combo. I love to learn thank u so much.
Love Lollipop! What an energetic and photogenic thing she is! I live-trapped a skunk by mistake several years ago. The objective was to thin the "herd" of our neighborhood's raccoons by catch and relocate but that's like digging a hole in dry sand. Fortunately, the skunk never sprayed (too young?) and was released as soon as I spotted her. He or she didn't seem too terribly upset and simply waddled off into the neighboring woods. Quite a pretty little thing actually!
Awww I wanna skunk for a friend! But because that's never gonna happen, the next best thing is to see you share your relationship with Lollipop! What a great and awesomely cute ambassador for her species she is too!
I just watched a short video of a beaver chewing through a branch by Countdown To Zero. The sound was so relaxing! Can we get a long close up video of just Huckleberry crunching away at a large branch? Please? Beaver ASMR!
Probably a dumb question, but...In the intro and segue (new) footage, Lolipop's black areas look a little "browner" than in the compilation clips (old footage)...is that from age, a seasonal/coat thing, or just the lighting conditions?
Thanks for asking! Her old winter fur is a bit more brown and less sleek as it sheds in the spring and early summer. Then in the fall she grows in thick shiny black fur again. Also, the brown is more obvious when she's in bright daylight.
I have a skunk family on my property and since I re educated myself on skunks. I enjoy them up close and personal. Love them to pieces. It's not legal in my state to own a domesticated one so I have to enjoy the wild ones. Sometimes I have 3 up visiting me and even when they bicker and push each other I know I don't have to worry about getting sprayed. Beautiful little creatures. One Day I hope to have a domesticated one but for now I am really enjoying watching the ones that trust me enough to come up to me and say hello. I've got 2 up on my porch as we speak. 2 ft away. I'm so in love with them. ❤❤
I once encountered a skunk right at my front door. The skunk used very clear body language (standing up to make sure I could see the stripe and hissing at me) to tell me that I had two choices: • Use my back door • Get sprayed I chose wisely :)
She has so much energy! Very cute!^^ ^w^ Oh and I have a question if you don't mind,I have 2 guinea pigs so I was wondering if you can do a guinea pig daily routine.
I actually used that Dawn dish soap, baking soda & hydrogen peroxide on my dog & it worked really well. I would only notice a faint skunky odor later on if he got wet. We both got sprayed at the same time. I was walking him on a leash when he stuck his head under a bush and pulled out a skunk which sprayed him on the side of his head and on my lower pants leg. It didn't get in his eyes and it wasn't much of a spraying but it was enough to startle my dog and cause him to drop the skunk and I hauled him out of there as fast as I could.
6:15 The skunk literally sat on the stump. Fortunately, Jessie did not try to tell us that the skunk thunk the stump stunk and the stump thunk the skunk stunk, or it might have taken her an hour to get a usable take.
Soon! Editing unboxing videos takes a lot of time and we're super busy with the animals right now, so it might be a few weeks before it all comes together.
Hi, I love your videos and the animals too! I would love if you could make a no-there video about rabbits. Because I have a pet rabbit called Biscuit and I would love to learn more about here and how to stimulate her brain! Pleaseeeee!❤️🧡💛💚💙💜💖🐰 Take care.😘
Ah the paint video! This reminds me, i know that as an animal carer you have a lot on your hands. And adding the prouction of videos to the mix must be a bit demanding sometimes. And for that reason, if you would like to do a little not edited or less edited video of painting with the animals an other time i think we would still love it! At least i know i would!
Not at all. Getting the animals out of their enclosure and engaging in a variety of activities is a nice way to keep them enriched. Sometimes we end up going on a walk before or after we make the video, and sometimes we include treats or tactile interaction during and after. We'll even sometimes use a video session as part of their training to become an educational ambassador for public presentations.
Skunks are insanely cute. Despite the spray risk in the wild, they're still insanely cute and I love watching them... from a distance.
Yes from a distance 😌🤚

Omg the beginning, where she's diving into boxes, reminded me so much of Maru the cat 😂😂😂

That's hilarious. She's very enthusiastic
Lollipop with the boxes reminds me of the skunks on my college campus who wriggle around and eat out of the trash
She’s so cute!
2:27 You don't have a skunk in a trunk nor a fox in the box, but the skunk's actually in said box.
She's so energetic and cute! I'm so glad to see her happy. I'd love to see more Ophelia if you're looking for ideas, she's my husband's favorite.
Thank you for sharing Lollipop. Great art work.
Glad you are making more videos

Is lollipop slightly on the small side or do I just have a misconception about how big skunks usually are? She's so freaking cute!

Is Lollipop still...with us?😱😱😱
Yes! She just celebrated her 8th birthday and she's very healthy for an old lady.
@@animalwondersmontana Oh, good! I was a little worried there; she's such a sweet little skunk!!!❤❤❤❤❤

(and people helping them get out thank god)

Do a Zeema compilation!
How do you deal with flea/tick prevention?
I miss seeing lollipop.
We have a family of skunks living under our front porch, and they're so cute!!!! Dpnt get near them though. Mama is very protective
I would love to see more videos featuring the bunnies. I feel like we don't see them very often. 🐇

Can you give an update on bindi the bearded dragon because I have a bearded dragon and I like to learn new things about them!!
Skunks don't do snow, they hibernate in the groups in the wild. There's a bunch under the barn every winter.
when are you planning to do the huge un boxing video??

ok
I have one more question does Seraphina the red fox have a companion yet??

"Stomping" at a dog looks to them like a "Play bow" This is likely the confusion.
Super skunk!
Let that be A LESSON, skunks are not shy or afraid of man, it you leave your food out there when camping They will come right for it...

I wonder where lollipop can be 🦨.
