I ran into a beaver walking the shore line of lake Oahe. Sat down to take a picture of it and it swam over to me and after a few minutes it walked right up and sat with me.

It's pretty amazing how good he is at being a beaver when he was completely raised by humans!
Huckleberry is such a precious little guy. Well, not so little now, but you know what I mean.
Beavers are a great gift to the environment. They are also very social w/ their own kind. Mamma & Poppa teach the babies all along their lives till they know the ropes. They build homes in the little lake they created (so deer, etc have water), and then there are branches, so to speak, to other homes for smaller water beings. They take care of all nature, as I see it. & I saw it on an old VCR in a local library. I took this video home & fell smack in love w/ these precious creatures.
Huckleberry is my favorite guy and is the first video I ever watched from Animal Wonders. Would love to see other compilation videos like this for other animals!
When Huck begs for food, he cries like human baby that give rise maternity so we can’t help feed him 😌

I am 37 years old and live in Europe. To be honest, I hadn’t got any occasion to see beaver live, not to say to see a baby beaver! At this point I am begging you to show us more of our beloved Huckleberry Beaver. I can’t describe it, but I feel like some kind of connection to him and I would be very pleased if I could see him happy 😊 I also like a way how you are telling us about training and teaching him a “wild behavior” and other things. Did you considered a live camera broadcast from his home? I watched these episodes when they first came out and loved them then and after rewatching them now still love them, especially those baby noises he makes! Watching those little hands and how he slowly waddles along is just adorable. I live on the opposite side of the country from Montana and don't think I will ever make it out that way any time soon but am very grateful to the people at Animal Wonders for putting out such enjoyable content. I've become addicted to them and similar content from other channels, they brighten my day and are a very enjoyable way to start or end a day. So a big thanks to all of you and to Huckleberry my favorite!
Yeah, their front teeth are like hatchets & they can really do a number on a tree. Up here in northern MN they like to sit in the middle of the road & enjoy the heat on a sunny day. So, if you ever need to shoo one off of the road, remember those teeth & that beavers are not all sweet natured. You might get chased! 😄😄

I love video's of animals being helped. It was a shock when I heard it was in Montana and even more of a shock to find out it's in my city! I often ride the mountain trails on my dirt bike and encounter lot's of wildlife. I did in fact come upon a beaver this year by the river as I ate lunch. It was anything but welcoming and soon let me know that I should pack it up and leave. Sometimes I see porcupines and other common forest animal's but yet to see the wolverine. That would be really cool but dangerous and I bet really rare. Anyways keep up the good work!
