it's so cute how she said "good job" while discovering the blanket, the exact same way she says it when an animal does the good thing in training sessions x'3
My client (12 year old autistic girl) loves watching videos of various animals so I decided to show her animal wonders and she loved Kemosabe! When I saw this video in my sub box I decided to wait to watch it with her today and she enjoyed it :)
Thank you for opening Avery’s box on camera! She put so much love and thought into the gifts for the animals. We have learned so much about how to enrich our pets lives from you! Thank you thank you!!!!
Thank you very much from Europe, Avery! You had such great ideas and we enjoyed the unboxing very much! And thank you very much, Jessie and Animal Wonders Montana team for teaching us how to enjoy creating something for animals without putting them at risk!
Avery, you and your family have a big heart! Not only do you bring enrichment to the animals but you also allow viewers outside of Montana to learn more about respecting and caring for animals through Jessi and her wonderful staff. I hope you continue to be an amazing human being! keep being you!
If this is your first non-complexly vid, GREAT DANG JOB!! My daughter Sasha and I waited to watch together and we enjoyed, as always. Brilliant and thoughtful work Avery!
I love the way prehensile tailed creatures use their tails, reaching back to hang onto branches as they reach forward, like Kemo does reaching for his banana. I had a hand raised ring tail possum, who also have prehensile tails, who used to wrap his tail around my fingers, to reach for things.
!! VERY IMPORTANT!! You need to change the wheel in the gliders enclosure IMMEDIATELY!! The bar in the center blocks the way sugar gliders naturally move, has had gliders get there patagems (gliding bit) get caught and tangled in it. They do a leaping prancing motion through the center. The holes have injured gliders as they don't wait for it to stop on its own or their partners to stop running when they want out. Lastly (I can't quite see) it needs to be an open mesh of some kind so the pee and poop when they run can fall out easily. I know it's your best intention and probably was labeled safe but it is not. Unfortunately there is a LOT of products labeled safe that are not and misinformation out there when it comes to the care of gliders. The main style of wheels that are generally accepted as safe have no bar, large open access, and removable mesh for the track part. Love your stuff and how much you clearly love and care for your animals, hope you keep going 😊 PS. If you want to know if a source is out dated or completely wrong, the mention of a heat rock is a dead giveaway, or if they talk about kibble/pre-made diet like you would find on exotic nutrition that has been found problematic for most gliders as well as unsafe toys/products labeled for gliders (you got to use a staple diet)
I'm not sure if it was Avery's intention or not but it seemed like the box at the beginning with everything else inside was an enrichment game for Jessies
Oh my gosh!! Thank you so so much for sharing this video with us!! And did Ringo just purr?! That's ADORABLE!! Speaking of Ringo, I saw that he ripped open his little bear, so definitely get any and all fluff from the little toy; my dogs try to eat the fluff, we don't let them but they try, and I would hate for Ringo to attempt the same & choke on the fluff
Hi Jessi I have a few doubts about 1. What do you do when going for vacation (before covid ) or being in a place outside montana for 1 or 2 days 2. I know that it is a little depressing but what do you do when there's a disaster like a tornado or earthquake or a forest fire like you have a emergency plan ?? 3. Can we get an update on romeo the African grey parrot 4. A bird room tour please please please please please 🙏
Thanks for asking! We rarely go on vacation, but when we do, we're able to have other team members care for the animals. With a combination of staff, interns, and volunteers strategically scheduled, we've be able to take a few vacations with our family over the years. We do have an emergency plan on place for natural disasters. It's actually a requirement of the federal permits we hold to have a plan written out. I'd love to share an update on Romeo! He's doing great and I'll make sure to add him to our future episode list! -Jessi
I love your informational, interesting, and fun videos, with your amazing and adorable animals. I'm so glad the animals have a home where they are appreciated for who they are. 🙂
Absolutely! We can use blankets and stuffed toys for a variety of the animals. Just be sure they are cleaned before you send them, and there are no loose strings or holes in the blankets.
We sent one a few months ago too, and while it didn’t make it into a video, we do see some of the items my daughter made in the background of videos and Instagram pictures. It’s great to see the animals are enjoying them!
Thanks, and you're correct. When the Wodent Wheel first came out, they were the best you could get for sugar gliders since they were made to correct the many problems and risks with previous styles of running wheels. Since then, there have been some cases of injury and even though we've never had an issue with them in the 13 years we've cared for sugar gliders, we're going to upgrade the wheels for a style with even less risk of injury. Thank you for caring about their wellbeing ❤
@@animalwondersmontana okay you have been informed, I didn't find any one mentions or reply about this when first scrolling. Lol so nvm my long comment trying to alert you. Take care
Yeah, this was the first video we filmed with our new camera and setup and we were still getting used to the settings. We've learned a lot in the last couple months and things will hopefully get better and smoother as we go.

What's going on with the camera? lots of fish-eye lens and other visual weirdness.
