Kola Ibitayo easy answer because I stutter myself Since 7 and half .....I’m 24 now and still do and trough-out the years I been knowing my stuttering better than anyone else , you stutter with you talk to people because of social anxiety , you can speak so well by yourself but you still stutter but you don’t Even notice because you feel way less anxiety .....for example when I’m alone and calm and confident , I can talk properly with people but I still stutter but like 5% but if I had a real high anxiety and low confidence , my stuttering went from 5% to 90%........remenber no one is perfect
I remember I was sitting in my friend's car when we started speaking about different things and there was my turn to tell my story. This was the first time I decided to take the challenge and not ignore the hard words and letters. I decided to make those pauses before difficult letters and not to pronounce the same letter twice. The first time I did it I noticed they didn't mind it and I was not embarrassed too. The speech kind of went naturally and I decided to do it again and this time I did it faster and I liked it soooo much that I was smiling and deep inside I felt so exited that I could tell what I wanted and I didn't have to change words and tweak my story. I was using all the words I wanted. That was amazing. So, try it guys and you will see it really is not hard and it so much worth it. When I now tell my new friends that I was terribly stuttering no one even believes me a single bit. So do it and share it with me I want to hear it.
@utoria Just wonderful, I been tryin to find out about "how to avoid stuttering" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Rincaas Stammify Blocker - (search on google ) ? Ive heard some decent things about it and my co-worker got cool results with it.

I cured my stuttering on my own by decreasing my exhale rate by an exercise and improving my pronounciation to keep my mouth always open to let the air out.I also used passive air flow after a preparation and came over all my fears. I am fluent totally in low and moderate stress levels naturally.I use airflow under high stress and it works.I try to get used to high stress cases to reduce the learnt stress.
This is basically what I'm doing. Always using relaxed breathing. Relaxing your abdomen and your entire body and always speaking on a exhaled breath while focusing on making all the voiced sounds with feeling. I've definitely seen big changes. Resisting the urge to use force when speaking
Hi Carlo, you don't need to go to complected about it. It doesn't matter if you are relaxed or not, the main thing you breath in and remember doing it all the time. How is your progress now? Email me at mr.mpan@gmail.com
Hi, I always avoid difficult words...mainly 3 of them- speaking 10 both in hindi and english, pra - my name starts with this ironically, tej or taj, kal or ka. Iv done all breathings but can't get rid of these...pls help
I have been stuttering for a very long time. I have a hard time talking to people due to my stuttering. I have a hard time saying my name and talking on the cell phone. Stuttering is so annoying! I wish I never stutter!
Hey. I have a stutter as well and you should try your best to keep your head held high and believe in yourself that on day it'll go. I also loose confidence when I stammer which is every day but you should belive in yourself and ignore anyone that may say anything to you as it'll worsen you. 💖
Who cares what people think of how are you talk, how do their thoughts effect you? Own the stutter, BE the stutter✊, I know I sound crazy 😂 but trust me if you don't give a shit it really does help alot lol I've stuttered for as long as I can remember and it's been slowly going away as I've gotten older. I don't really work on it in any way besides just not caring what people think. You do that, it WILL get better for you, I promise 😉👍
I will try this. My stuttering is not bad at all. It's quite strange, when I'm talking to girls or my mom I'm pretty fluent. However once I sense a level of tension has risen, I panic and will run into blocks. Also, when I'm engaging in normal conversation, I mean surface level topics, I usually don't stutter. But, when I try to explain something deeper I do find myself hitting more blocks. I have used pauses and speaking slowly, but when ur in that intense situation and you don't feel "safe" or "vulnerable" I will start running into my favorite friend, the block/stutter. I don't hate my stutter. It's very interesting to learn about. Anxiety is def tied into stuttering. I will try riding the wave of my exhale more. This is exciting. Before I ever heard about this technique I noticed that when I would speak off my exhale , It's like I was riding a smooth wave, great feeling, especially if you are talking about important topics and you want to get your point of side across. Update will be coming in 2 weeks. Update: u have to not fear it overcome it, took some weeks but I did. It was all in my head. Sometimes I get it but I can Control it. Don’t fear and it will go away. Also presenting helps a shit ton. Remeber anyone seeing this do not fear.
hi Luca, thank you for you deep explanation, so yes, what you are talking about is more of a controlling the situation. It happens to all of us, when we get into a different situation. I think in my final stages of overcoming it was when I needed to switch to speak in a different language, that was catching me years after when I already knew hot to get it under control. For instance when I needed to switch to German or Polish I was going to struggle. I think because you try to find the right words and you have too many thoughts in your head so your breathing is not catching up with the speed of your thoughts. To many thoughts and you only have one mouth :) So but I don't have that problem now anymore. I think once you know what you are doing, your mind will eventually catch up and apply the same system to every situation, but it takes a lot of time to adjust it to all the situations. I talked about it in one of my videos. So basically, because you are teaching yourself to readjust the way to speak using the new technic and the new habit to every new situation. It's almost like a part of artificial intelligence that is trying to learn and adjust to a new situation. Interesting, - right?
@@harshit_9t9 Hey man, I have come a long fucking way since that comment, damn. Basically man to overcome it and to be free, you have to stutter and own that shit. Don't be afraid, just keep facing your fear, esp public speaking. Now, once you have a grasp on the fear part you can start to work on where you stutter and how to become fluent. But everyday you must face your fear. Give yourself breaks and understand your own energy. Something that helped me a lot, is working through the prolongation. Meaning when I feel like the word will be difficult to say you just push though like nothing. Also, I purposefully stutter on the word before so that the next word is much more fluent. Like for example. I struggle on the word struggle. So, I will say I-I struggle, if I feel like the word struggle won't come out, then I will purposely stutter on struggle. So, It sounds like I-I s-struggle with... That works for me pretty well tbh. If you want to talk more about it though, hmu on my email bro in my utube channel we can talk more.
@@lucapaluca8537 thanks bro for your advice I appreciate you for writing this whole paragraph. Could you please give me your email to connect with you .
I stopped stuttering thanks to a book called “How to Stop Stuttering and Love Speaking”. It was the best money I’ve ever spent. Therapy didn’t help, but that book did.
I have a littlebit of stuttering, nornally i speak fast and thats when i start stuttering. Sometimes its really hard to even say a word without stuttering
you are much more than a "stutter".. you have great ideas and goals that you can focus on. stuttering will not stop you from achieving wonderful things in life. focus on the good things and the stutter will fade into the background.
I've been stuttering for 9 years now. I lose confidence everyday. I'd do anything to stop. I become embarrassed talking to people. Whenever I can't say a word I just give up. I know I shouldn't but I can't, it makes me even more embarrassed
Respect from Morocco . I had to do a presentation in my college during the first semester and it was really really bad , cuz it was in French Witch I really find hard to control . I was repeating the sentence over and over to try to pronounce a word, and I couldn't stop at it either because it's in the middle of the sentence. I have another one on March 30th and it's longer and has some really bad economics terms for someone who stutters , Like " ajustement annuel " , this word put me through hell in the 1st semester , and I'm obliged to mention it again. I really hope this program works so I don't ruin my 2nd semester presentation. I wish I could use whatever words I wanted but .. dammit Can't do it . Anyway thanks a lot for you program. I read others' comments and I pray for all of us to overcome this ...
I've started doing this a week ago, before watching this video. It's not easy, but I think it works. I teach at a university, so I have plenty opportinities to practice lol.
Thank you for help! I'm doing this just 1 day, and I can finally speak more fluently. I've got blocks still, but I get right back on to what I was saying. (Sorry for my bad english)
Yes it is possible. Now you know the system and how it works. Just do it. It took me some time to figure it out and then I tried and it worked. Let me know if you made any progress or if you have questions.
utoria I am 15 years old and I have been stuttering since I was small and I hate it so much. It's so embarrassing to talk to people like my friends and girls. I have the ability to speak correctly. I feel like I can do better and speak with more definition and more advanced vocabulary, but my stuttering is affecting every part of my life. Also in school, it's hard. I am not really sure what we do based on your video. Can you explain what I do to help myself? Do I breathe better or what do I do?
Hey Viktor , I have been stuttering since I was kid too , the only way is to speak better just smile while speaking and don't hide that you are stuttering ... smile is the most powerful thing while speaking .. this is my suggestion ... and don't worry about it at all , it's not your fault ...
Hi everybody. It is possible to get rid of it in such a short time. That's how I did it. The main thing you need to make sure you follow this system every single time when you stutter. I can help guide you guys. Did any of you try to do it for two weeks paying attention to every single time when you stutter?
+Toria I have watched this video couples of times and I think I got the idea very clear now. I will try it from this day on and let you know about my progress in 3 weeks. Thank you, Toria :)
David Key Yes, I tried to post my progress here a couple of days ago but for some odd reason it wouldn't let me comment. Anyways, at first it went smoothly and I was excited to see the results of doing it for a few weeks but then it kept getting harder as I got more occupied with studies. I had to speak much more frequently because of my new courses at high school and as a stutterer, it put pressure on me. I couldn't keep up with this method so I went back to my old habits and decided to prolong this "experiment" for my next 2,5 week holiday which is coming up next week. So I guess I'm going to try it again for 2,5 weeks starting next week. This time there won't be anything harming the progress because I won't be occupied at all.
A few studies strongly suggest it is possible to get rid of stuttering in 2-3 weeks. It is the MPI program (modified phonation interval). It consist of talking several hours daily to someone with a system telling you exaclty when your speech is wrong, and allow you to correct yourlsef. This step is 2 to 3 weeks long, and then the following months you gradually transfer the fluency to more and more stressful situation. I personnaly have significantly decreased my stuttering with intense aloud reading with someone present, and the help of some tools (delayed auditory feedback, smooth articulation).
Thanks man... I have been looking for ways to reduce my stuttering out of all the tips I have come across, yours and tips that focuses on breathing (meditation) are the ones that have produced significant result for me. Thanks for sharing this useful tip. I hope to come back and share with you the progress I have made.
Growing up, I find it difficult to read aloud early modern English but when I followed steps in the video. it made me stutter less and I have been reading Shakespeare sonnet with a new sense of easy. Tnx to your video.
Hi everybody, To help you out, you need to watch the video mark it down what is important and do it for two weeks without interruption. The technique is here. Just do it and you will help yourself out. There is no other way. Just do it. Once you feel your improvement you have fixed your breathing forever. Next step is to fix your personal suppression. Long years of stuttering makes you feel uncertain. Next step is get rid of that.
The best thing we can do is to remove attachment from prestige, people's outlook for us...live bravely, don't worry about people's reactions after we speak...it's our life we should live peacefully.
hi Jhilik, it's interesting that you mentioned it, I made a new video speaking about it. I recently found out that Joe Biden and Steve Harvey stuttered. There is a useful tip from Steve Harvey. Here is the link th-cam.com/video/Uf3MJXs2LLM/w-d-xo.html
Lost hope it would be if it doesn't work but when I see people stutter now and I don't it makes me smile. Like today, my friend is stuttering but he manages it on his own. Several months ago, I explained him the technique but as 90% of people of course he doesn't believe that just this simple steps can eliminate his stuttering completely. Because it is so simple no one even bothers to believe in it and make it work. But of course the hardest thing is discipline ( or almost impossible for 90% of people). It is actually hard to watch your every blocking sound and correct it every time. It is hard to do for an hour and so much harder for the entire day. And I am talking a week, or 2 weeks. First it's hard to believe and people give up. Second, it's hard to watch yourself for even an hour and people give up because it is hard. For these reasons people don't even get past one day and give up. If you watch and correct yourself for even one hour you will see that it works, and it is so easy, the pauses are just very long at the very beginning (that's what it seems to you, but they are actually not) but you need to do it every single time.
Thank you for all. I started your technique and I already see improvement but only if I decide to speak. If I am asked a question in public I cannot respond because, accordingly to your video I try to breath and let words come smoothly (sometimes and words never come).
Hi Katla, yes, it is not only possible but that's the way to do it. I have posted my new video with practical advises on how to do it, you can watch it now it's located on my new channel Utoria and the name of it is How to get rid of stuttering in 2-3 weeks - part 2
Great video, some of the same principles of Etalon by Anna Deeter, although she can teach this in 3 days. Thank you for sharing. You have to keep speaking, but the right way, in all sitiations.
I have noticed an improvement in my nerves etc since taking high doses of B vitamins a year or more ago. I take a Multi B everyday which contains 5mg B1 which sounds low compared to what you suggest. i will look into this. Thanks Merv.
@@XgiannettoX All the B vits help the nervous system, I,m pretty sure. Doing breathing exercises is a big help, even something like Wim Hoff will help. Getting into a relaxed state is huge, and also accepting and loving yourself as you are. Be kind to the part of you that stutters, it is NOT your enemy, although we think it is. Something traumatic happened that effected us, no blame or shame.
@@3stuttersteps By outgrow I don't mean 100% cure and remove stuttering because even non-stutterers are dysfluent. However, many stutter researchers have outgrown stuttering as an adult, where they speak like non-stutterers without using any techniques, without trying to control/manage and without residue of stuttering. Different researchers define outgrowing differently e.g., a duration of minimum 1 year or 5 years. New research from 2022 states that the previous 80% of people who outgrow stuttering is more likely up to 89%. Research from 2022 states, if PWS speak fluently when alone then there are still differences in the brain between PWS and non-stutterers, because we are still controlling/managing the stutter and reacting to triggers (e.g., anticipatory fear). So, if we speak fluently in all situations in the same way as we would when speaking alone, then I don't consider this outgrowing because the right hemisphere is then still over-active. There is more chance of outgrowing if we subtract control - which stutterers do when we speak fluently during choral speech, where there are no differences in the brain.
@@ytchannel-howtooutgrowstutteri Right, you see that's the problem, exactly as you are saying to outgrow, but it may never happen, and it comes back all the time unless you control it, that's the real issue here, and you need a system, whichever system is better for you. Steven Harvey has his own system as well, that I liked. I never thought of that. People can improve the the way they speak using different tricks but the issue is still there, unless you really stop it - meaning stop repeating sounds, so basically stop stuttering. I think it's always just one moment apart, but you need to take the effort to control it. Like I was just answering to another comment, maybe 10 years after I was free from stuttering, I stuttered when I was switching to speak in a new language, but I don't have that issue now. So sometimes your mind takes a lot of time to learn how to adjust to a particular situation.
Thanks for the stats, the technic is for people who has issues with outgrowing it, I always meet people who are much older now and have still stutter, I have also just responded to your previous message about subtracting control, so it is about being able to control it at the start until you reach the level that it becomes a second nature so then you will automatically subtracted naturally but you need the ladder to get manually to that level first
That is actually so strange that so many people watched my video, some people I told myself but I never heard from anyone, who could manage it and stop stuttering. Why is it? No one believes it? Is everybody sceptic that it only takes so little time? If anyone from Toronto or close by I would be very happy to speak in front of a group of people and share my experience and knowledge. Let me know if any body is interested.
Anyone who wants to stop stuttering needs to watch the video and just do it. You didn't know where to start what to do but now you know. Use it. The sooner you start the sooner you will be out of this habit. So, change your habit. The best thing of it, you don't need to do something extraordinary or get stuck with it for two long. Do it for 2 weeks, this is how much time it took me to finally stop my bad habit and start speaking normally.
Michael Panchenko hey I am 15 years old and I am just sick and tired of stuttering and my life is going downhill, when I'm at school I stutter more than I do at home, I stutter around my family, not much tho. Also when I sing I occasionally stutter. I am just so stressed out about it and I don't know what to do. I legit cry sometimes. What should I Do? Plz help
there is no faster or slower progress. There is only time when you teach yourself to do 3 things: when you get stuck (1) stop right there (2) breath in (3) start with a next letter. Master it until you remember to do it for the next time.
I stutter when I get nervous , like in the meetings , presentations ...etc . the only is way is you need to smile while speaking ...it's all about the stress .. I even drink beer sometimes in the meetings to speak better .. remember just practice smile, laugh and ey contact while speaking ..
i will try this i believe we have to relearn how to speak and rewire the brain...is there any way to speak with you?..ill do anything sir.I`ll pay for your time.thank you
Hi Maria, sorry I didn't see this on my phone, PC shows comments much better. I never thought about skype at this moment. I was only thinking about doing a presentation in Toronto at this moment. Practically what you need to do is to follow those steps in the video. I will see if I can lay down the steps on paper. Did you make any progress?
Hi my son is 5 years and he suddenly started stuttering when he was 3 years but it comes and goes and now he is going to kindergarten and his stuttering getting bad plz help me to stop his stuttering
I’ve got a type of ‘Tourette’s’ style of Stammering, meaning I have an unpredictable Stammer. It comes out when it wants! Completely out of my control. But at 32 , I’ve learned to be ok about it. There are so many types of stammering. Mine is quite tolerable to be fair.
My son stopped stammering using Alternative herbal supplement, I feel so happy 😊😁 that he can finally express his feeling and he's no longer afraid because he speaks fluently 💯 God 🙏🙏 bless Doctor Isibor
Hi Toria! What if I just pretend that i forgot the word when I stutter? Like "I love to play vid--(starts stuttering)--What is that word again? (breathes in) video game! that is the im searching for." Can I do that?
SkyzShahz Hhhh man that way you will be forgeting the whole speech, what I do is cough a little bit , for example " opportunity " .. oppo--( start stuttering ) oho oho , opportunity . It works each time , best of Luck :)
))) you are just trying to find a way out of the current situation. Focus on how not to stutter, so you don't need to do it anymore. Don't focus on a short term solution, focus on a long one. Good luck, let me know if you have questions
i heard you can do it with yourself in the mirror in my case,i barely stutter, but it never disappears ,regardless of how many books i;ve read out loud. It hurts my ego
@3stuttersteps, I have a question about the technique: when you say "you have to do it every time" do you mean every time you stutter, or every time you speak? And if the latter: do I have to take a conscious breath before every sentence or every word?
@@SW4GZ69 My speech is better but i did some other stuff beside what this video says. I joined a Facebook community called stuttering mind. The one who made that community has some very good techniques.
Thanks you for making this video its very helpful because im a stutter person and pep thinks its funny and i tried to tell them that its not funny and give me time do not give me commentary about me i need to figure a way by my self and they never change :-(
i have tried speech therapies also and they didnt work. they focused on breathing and the air way. the technique thats work for me is to memorize what I'm going to say before i speak. If i try to breath before i speak, it get me nervous. There are some words that I have issues saying without sturring, i cant say most words that say with O without sturreing.
Hello sir... I'm having stuttering problems since from child nd even now also when I used to talk with my frds I cnt talk probably nd feeling very sad.so sir is there any methods to get rid of this stammering problems??,,I'm ready to do anything sir..
Nice technique. I have one question. When we inhale, so do we have to exhale and complete the word or just after inhaling , continue completing the word.
You guys must have realized that you dont stutter when you sing...voila! Use it to reduce stuttering..I mean like start your sentence by preassuming that you are going to sing and infact sing the first syllable and the rest of the sentence would come out normally.I stutter too and so I too use this technique which helps a lott..hope it helps you too..Cheers!
Well I had a therapy, where the therapist recommended that whenever a stutter comes, I should stop completely take a breath relax my shoulders and continue where I stopped a bit slowly and then continue to the normal speech flow
I should say that it helps, but some moments in life the stress where the stress is high the brain ( at least my brain) forget about all these techniques :P
Mohamad El Ghouti Well, the therapists are observers. They never stuttered and they saw that it makes it easier when you prolong or move shoulders or make pauses and breath in. They don't know how to eliminate it. They are swig so many people stutter. Whatever they do or say people will always stutter and come back with exact same problem with almost no progress. When you say it helps but in some cases it doesn't that means you know how to apply it but you still lack to become consistent, so your brain is confused and it doesn't remember to tell you when to breath in automatically. When I said it takes only 2 weeks non of people believe me and non of you will get rid of it until you start implementing this stops and breathing in and stop repeating letters every single time. And it doesn't matter if you're with friends or family. It is harder to do it with family because of your strong habit to stutter in a relaxed way. The hardest time when you need to remember is maybe the first or the second day then it comes very easy until your brain remembers to do it automatically because your entire body, all your muscles will now now you are not repeating sounds, so you don't stater and you would be able to crack any jokes you want ))) without a problem in very short time once you get used to new way of speaking maybe in about a month or two. Because ounce your new habit is in place ( a week or two when you stop stuttering) you will be so amazed and happy but your old habit sometimes kicks in but it is a totally different thing this time. You will block it right away because your body would understand you don't need it anymore.
So, has anyone got rid of stuttering by doing this in 2 weeks? No, it takes years, at least 8-9 months minimum to master you techniques, so you could speak freely.
Konstantin Shetekauri Hi Konstantin, thank you, watch my second video and you will get the answer. It actually even takes less if start doing it. If you are disciplined. If you partially practice then stop and on and off it would take you years, decades and still you will have the old habit. So it's either you do it or you don't. You can practice as much as you want but but then just stop stuttering. If you don't stop you will always stutter. You can stop repeating the same sound twice even in 1 day if you force yourself and really pay attention, but as we are all humans we don't trust each other until we prove it it for ourselves. And that can take long. )))
Hi Michael. I am a Speech Pathologist. I recommend that people who stutter really need to see a therapist. You are sharing a technique that involves breathing, however, it is not the best way to control your breathing for fluent speech. A speech therapist can teach techniques that are research-based and proven to be effective to promote fluent speech. We do not suggest holding your breath after inhaling. This can increase tension and promote blocking of speech. People that follow your advice may find it even more difficult to speak. I am glad, however, that you have found something that helps you. Every person is different. Best wishes for continued fluency...
@lynyates5687 I have had a stuttering problem since I can remember and I am now 45, I took speech therapy in the public school I went to for 6 years and it did nothing for me, if anything it got worse because my classmates knew I stuttered and I had to go to that room for an hour and I knew my classmates will tease me when I got out and that just made it worse. If I can try this and it works then more power to me.
jimbo Rose Not really, prolonging means you just want to get away with it. You want to pull it through. It's not giving you another step forward toward eliminating the stuttering. You just want to find a way out to say the word. Loose the battle but win the war. Make pauses. Breath in. Pronounce one sound, pause, inhale. Say another one, if blocked, do the same, stop, inhale, say next sound and so on. But do not stutter.
problem with me is that when I'm alone I can speak freely. when I sing I can sing flawlessly, but when I talk to someone I start stuttering.
mushtaq ali Momin

You do that, it WILL get better for you, I promise 😉👍
real talk😒...
I can’t even say my name and I really hate stuttering, I wish I can speak without stuttering even for 1 day
I will try this.
Hey Luca I also have same problems like you can you please tell how you overcome it
@@harshit_9t9 Hey man, I have come a long fucking way since that comment, damn.

I stopped stuttering thanks to a book called “How to Stop Stuttering and Love Speaking”. It was the best money I’ve ever spent. Therapy didn’t help, but that book did.
I just placed order for it. I hope it helps
What about block type ? I am not repeating any sound of letter, i just have problem even start or i stuck in the middle, completely.
Jan Vlček me too man I just get stuck
Jan Vlček mee too bro
Me too
I have a littlebit of stuttering, nornally i speak fast and thats when i start stuttering. Sometimes its really hard to even say a word without stuttering
I just blocked up completely I don’t get to utter a word. I can’t stammer I can’t also talk.
you are much more than a "stutter".. you have great ideas and goals that you can focus on. stuttering will not
stop you from achieving wonderful things in life. focus on the good things and the stutter will fade into the background.
I've been stuttering for 9 years now. I lose confidence everyday. I'd do anything to stop. I become embarrassed talking to people. Whenever I can't say a word I just give up. I know I shouldn't but I can't, it makes me even more embarrassed
Hi Joury, just use this simple technique, stop, breath in and continue with the next letter
Same here
But I’ve been stuttering my whole life 21 years , and I’m embarrassed. And I never talk to people ugh I hate it, no talk in school, at work, at home.

I read others' comments and I pray for all of us to overcome this ...

utoria I am 15 years old and I have been stuttering since I was small and I hate it so much.
Thank you
Hi everybody. It is possible to get rid of it in such a short time. That's how I did it. The main thing you need to make sure you follow this system every single time when you stutter. I can help guide you guys. Did any of you try to do it for two weeks paying attention to every single time when you stutter?
Toria, I am 26 years old and looking to get of my stutter. Does this technique/video help? Any hints or tips you can give?
+Toria
I have watched this video couples of times and I think I got the idea very clear now.
I will try it from this day on and let you know about my progress in 3 weeks.
Thank you, Toria :)
it's been three weeks! How are you doing with it now?
David Key
Yes, I tried to post my progress here a couple of days ago but for some odd reason it wouldn't let me comment.
+The Long Lost Brother Who Has Forgotten His Name any progress?
A few studies strongly suggest it is possible to get rid of stuttering in 2-3 weeks. It is the MPI program (modified phonation interval). It consist of talking several hours daily to someone with a system telling you exaclty when your speech is wrong, and allow you to correct yourlsef. This step is 2 to 3 weeks long, and then the following months you gradually transfer the fluency to more and more stressful situation.
I personnaly have significantly decreased my stuttering with intense aloud reading with someone present, and the help of some tools (delayed auditory feedback, smooth articulation).
I will give it a trial. I am sincerely tired of having blocks especially in situations that matter
Thanks man... I have been looking for ways to reduce my stuttering out of all the tips I have come across, yours and tips that focuses on breathing (meditation) are the ones that have produced significant result for me. Thanks for sharing this useful tip. I hope to come back and share with you the progress I have made.
Great to hear! It would be great to hear how you are doing, let me know in 3 weeks
Growing up, I find it difficult to read aloud early modern English but when I followed steps in the video. it made me stutter less and I have been reading Shakespeare sonnet with a new sense of easy. Tnx to your video.
Hi everybody,
To help you out, you need to watch the video mark it down what is important and do it for two weeks without interruption.

Great video and thank you for sharing your journey and tips.
I will try this but I have already lost hope.
Don't u ever never loose hope my friend..
Ever

Try adding ~600mg of vitamin B1 to your daily routine and see how that helps with fluency. Doses may vary between individuals.

Thank you for this technique! I agree that this technique can stop stuttering, but not outgrow stuttering. Would you agree with this opinion?
hi YT, thank you for the comment, let's discuss it, what do you mean by outgrow? Could you expand on it?
Michael Panchenko This technique really helped me out lot!
Stopped stuttering for a while Completeley!
Hey I was wondering can I see your video too because it’s not on your channel
Anyone who wants to stop stuttering needs to watch the video and just do it. You didn't know where to start what to do but now you know. Use it. The sooner you start the sooner you will be out of this habit. So, change your habit. The best thing of it, you don't need to do something extraordinary or get stuck with it for two long. Do it for 2 weeks, this is how much time it took me to finally stop my bad habit and start speaking normally.
Did it really work
You need to try it. You have nothing to loose. It does work.

Can I reading like that constantly for faster progress? All the thme reading like opp-ort-unity,sorry for bad English.
there is no faster or slower progress. There is only time when you teach yourself to do 3 things: when you get stuck (1) stop right there (2) breath in (3) start with a next letter. Master it until you remember to do it for the next time.

thanks
Thank you.
Thank you!!!!
so u need to read alot???
do you mean practice reading? ???
I have no idea
Thank you so much
is it like the pull out technique ?
What do you mean by that?
Well I had a therapy, where the therapist recommended that whenever a stutter comes, I should stop completely take a breath relax my shoulders and continue where I stopped a bit slowly and then continue to the normal speech flow
I should say that it helps, but some moments in life the stress where the stress is high the brain ( at least my brain) forget about all these techniques :P
Mohamad El Ghouti
Well, the therapists are observers.
I’ve been stuttering all my life it’s when I’m nervous, talking fast, excited or just stress I can read a book for a hour and not stutter
Very helpful
I am so shocked that , I never know that 1% people in world have stammerer even I'm too
I also notice many people have the problem and I always want to help but I feel uncomfortable to offer my help :)
And that can take long. )))
I developed terrible stutter as an adult I think it came from social anxiety. And it’s usually stuttering blocks 😢
Lyn Yates speech therapist have cured no one. This is a
Man who stuttered, who now doesn’t! Speech therapy makes stuttering worse...
If I can try this and it works then more power to me.
seems like the video stops abruptly at 9.41? Is there more or did you just stop there?
no it is just the way I cut it )))). How is your progress?
Same as here plz tell me any salution
is this why also prolonging our words help also? Prolonging forces us to breathe out words which stutteters don't do when talking
jimbo Rose
Not really, prolonging means you just want to get away with it.
