When they are heavily feeding and there are big ones around consider fishing corn on the deck for lift bites. This method selects them, at least for me, every time.
Nice net of roach and some decent sized ones too. The only thing I would say is that some of them should have been netted and not swung in. Roach can be finicky and not always take the bait properly so if he hook isn't set in right in the lip you could lose the fish and damage its mouth by swinging it in. I just use a smaller landing net for roach so they don't look tiny in a large net.
yeah 100% agree mate, i think it was just for the camera. matchmen wouldnt want to lose those fish so would net them normally. iv actually started taking a kiddies dip net with me, then if im not sure if it needs a net i use the small one.

Packington was my first experience of course fishing with my granddad back in the 60's. I only caught Perch back then but loved it.
