- Hello viewers,
What a day it turned out to be! With word that CSX manifest M427 (Waterville, Me to Selkirk, Ny) would be making a daylight run down across D3 and the Worcester Main with CSX 8181 (SD40-2, blt. 3/1974, Ex-SBD, Nee-L&N), I headed out, planning to get them starting from Lowell Jct. However that morning, I got word that yet another manifest, M436 (Selkirk, Ny to Framingham, Ma) would have CSX 1827 (ES44AH blt. 6/2012, Baltimore and Ohio Heritage Unit) would be in the lead. I made CP60 in South Spencer, Ma my first location to see 436. After chasing them east to Worcester (after they stalled), I made my way to Harvard Depot to find M427 awaiting a recrew. With a close call along the way and plenty of struggling locomotives, this day proved to be one of the best ones yet in 2024. As always, I hope you enjoy!

Awesome catch with the B&O Heritage Unit № 1827.
Excellent!🚂🚂
Excellent sound quality. Caught the bass rumble of the Gevo very well in the first shot. Can't help thinking that train could perhaps have done with a little more power though..
13:23😲 You'd have been right in the path of what would have been left of that car
