My issue with ten Hag is that he's still being disingenuous. You have to coach the players you have, not the ones you want. A really good coach would've gotten more out of the available players, maybe not too much more, but more. That was the point of the last question. That said, I can understand ten Hag's attitude as ManU is a mess and they clearly have been undermining him for some time, but much of this he brought on himself through poor player management. FTR - I never thought he was up to this job at this time, but unless the owners get their act together, not even the best manager in the world could do much better. That was quite a win, though, gotta love the FA Cup!

English media like it when United is in turmoil. ETH finally had a chance to give them a piece. SAF had no time for this lot either.
At the start of last season no one thought utd would get top 4 yet he got third, brought them to 2 finals and won one. That's the maximum any manager could achieve with that utd side. A better first season than pep, klopp and arteta.
This season they've had so many injuries with their 2 best centre backs and left back out most of the season. Any team that had those injuries wouldnt be able to get the number of points they would get had they been fit. Not sure what people are expecting because the utd squad he has to work with isn't really a top 4 side to begin with.

These reporters love it when United are in turmoil. TNT Sports reporter told ETH TO HIS FACE just that earlier in the season.
The truth is that ETH has had a skeleton crew of a team to play every week. If city, Liverpool or Arsenal had as many players out, they would be in turmoil also. Alas it seems like the writing is on the wall for ETH regardless. That’s football for you!

Always been a Ten Hag fan since he joined our club. There are many factors that contributed to our league position, mainly injuries, some Ten Hag's tactics/subs, some the club (I.e. the medical department, and change of ownership and management), Sancho issues, some players undermined him because of his decisions, the media has always wanted him to get sacked from his first game VS Brentford. Also being the manager of United isn't a joke. He has gone through a lot trying to develop this team, he's just got 1 good and 1 bad season, but he's still fighting and the players seem to fight for him the past few games. He deserves to be assessed after 3 years.
