I have been playing (off and on) a single solo map, but I haven't tried broodmother, mantis, or wasp queen. I am at the step of create the cocktail, and I haven't plugged the poison mist with gum yet either. I appreciate the videos so thank you for making and sharing them with us!!

I wish they’d give us an option to wear two trinkets, or maybe a way to combine different trinkets, I just can’t seem to part with my compliance badge, perfect parrying restoring health and stamina just works so well for me.
Yeah but you take SO much more damage with it so you'll get destroyed in the late game

I dont think bosses should have unavoidable damage its so annoying and after they added debuff to fists its super annoying to build for damage instead you have to stack like 30 debuffs with armour and mutations
Yeah this is true, makes fists unusable for a few of the boss fights
Is there anything you get from playing on a harder difficulty? I’m close to the end of the game on my very first play through but on the easiest mode.
Playing mild/medium/whoa all give the same loot 😃
Nope, doesn’t change anything other than how hard the game is
This made me wonder, is the IBM the only repeatable boss that can be no-hit? I dont remember if wasp queen has any undodgeable attacks.
You could technically dodge all wasp queen attacks although very hard with all the explosives

Any particular reason why bulky red ant leggings over sleek? Wouldn't the sleek bonus benefit the termite armor acid splash or is it not that strong?
Termite armor is a dust attack not acid, the acid damage boost only affects the set bonus damage from the fire ant armor
@@Paraly5er The dust cloud also does an acid splash for 5 damage, i'll try sleek fire ant leggings since I only play on medium and see how it is
Is the cardio fan useful in this fight if the stamina bar never goes down to zero?
It increases stamina regen speed so yes still useful

it's in a flower pot, on the deck where you find the toe nails. it's all the way past the rug where the dust mites are at, you'll find a water hose that's open and once you go in the hose.. it'll lead you to the arena

It’s good but I think this build is better for people struggling to beat it. There are other builds that are faster at killing the mantis but riskier

I beat the mantis with a salty broodmother beatstick, full black ox armor, and a lot of drinks and food

Here’s my version of it. If you have a life spare time this one is it right for you it’s called doing all of burgles quests for all science and duplicating a bunch of granola bars, until you have enough to tank the Bossfight

How to get 5 mutations? I’m stuck on 3 right now.
Get milk molars and spend them in the ASL
Fun fact bosses ignore bugs the "ignore players" setting
How I kill it is I just use the mint mace, does more damage and the mantis isn't weak to it or resistant. With ladybug lvl 2 I just killed the mantis with a lvl6 mint mace, very hard
im using this still cant beat it cuz the new attack that blows the ground up and oneshots
Yeah you gotta strafe to the side when she does it, typically she only does it when you’re far away from her

I use full assassin armor with a toenail blade with a few potions and cooked food

Bro I forgot to swap my aphids slippers for my actual armor so I wore the wrong armor the entire fight 😭 I still won though 👍
Salty club of the mother demon is what i run same setup otherwise though.
i feel like that just wouldn’t work with out a shield
i use a salty club of the mother demon i fought him so many times i mastered him and even learned how to always dodge the jump attack also for the bleed i bring about 3 smoothies because the club of the mother demon deals an absurd amout of damage
Mother demon club is nuts just gotta be careful especially on whoa
@@Paraly5er yeah thats why i dont recomend the club of the mother demon against the mantis to anyone else and the fact that i can beat him without taking damage is kinda sad

You could also do what my wife and I did. She would aggro it and then I would just whack the hell out of it with my salty termite axe😂😂 and some *cough cough* gas arrows *cough*

That’s because I needed the trinket when it first released so I killed it a bunch to try and get it. Safe to say odds were NOT in my favour

Yeah mantis is so balanced when it gives bleed when I parry and there's like no defense to bleed omg so balanced 💀 your forced to bring heals for this fight and after fighting Ibm I wish other fights were like hers, being able to block scream so good
