I think the wasp queen is very easy if you have the black widow set because it steals hp of the wasps, but you still need to be careful because her attacks can deal a lot of damage.

Yeah but you only get the regen when you kill the summons so when she doesn’t summon you have low armor with no healing

If you are trying to beat this during on 1.4 I recommend to get the baby black ant because it will give a damage resist

I had a great time with this game, one of my favourite survival games of all time. But i haven't played it since the broodmother update. Just naturally moved on is all. Will always have a place in my heart.

Thank you Mr P for using a Barbarian/non perfect parry build. I've been saying for a while now that for certain scenarios it is better to use a max damage/non perfect parry strat and this is a fantastic example of it. Very nice!!!! I also use a similarish build for farming Ox Beetles....

For Ox Beetles, I just use my everyday Ladybug Armor with a lv 9 Club of the Mother Demon with a Salty upgrade. I stay out of reach of their melee attacks at first and wait for them to charge me. I perfect parry their charge then swing my club 3 times, then I back up a few steps to avoid their next attack. Then I go for 3 more swings, which stuns them. 3 more swings while they are stunned and they die. 😅 I don't use any mutation or trinket to boost my damage whatsoever. Though I make sure to use Sticky Fingers, Rascal Rogue and Dissection Expert.

@@Nathy835 I've used that strat too and parrying the charge is doable but on Woah you can't block a boulder throw and it can almost one shot you so I just find it safer with a shield and one handed weapon. Mind you I need to return to play the final update as there may have been some rebalancing....so I may be outdated strats wise lol

@@roughtakes7271 The rock throw deals about half my health on Medium NG+, with maxed upgrades on health It's basically why I stay away from them until they charge me. Right after a charge, they never do a rock throw, so it makes it safer to wait for them rather than running towards them. I haven't played the game before 1.4, as I only have a PS5, so I couldn't tell if the rock throw was deadlier, but from what you told me, it seems like the damage has been left untouched. And yeah, even on Medium, it IS unparryable, and the deadliest attack they have.
I recently started using fire ant helmet and boots instead of ladybug, for the corrosion effect, which helps a lot with infused enemies. I kept the ladybug chestpiece for the higher resistance and increased healing.

I’ve only just found out you get the recipe for the Wasp Queen inside her nest and I’ve been in that brawny boy bin a ton of times, but never inside the nest. Thought you had to find it else where I feel stupid lmao

Ive never thought about using the fire staff, i always just go in with a salty motherdemon club, black ox crossbow with normal feather arrows, and beefy soothing syrups 😂😂

Yeah the feather arrows are ox because they also do bleed, just a little slower than the burn of the staff

Q: Can waft emitters be used to cheese mix.r’s? Or Final Defence?) I haven’t done em all yet… thought I might summon other bugs to come play.. XDV
Also if you have any pull with the devs, tell ‘em we should be able to color/ paint the stem and plank pallets so I don’t lose em when on a chopping spree!! Glow into the dark tagging maybe? Just thoughts;)

Thanks cam, you can’t activate a waft raid when doing a mixr as far as I know. Your best bet with the pallets is to place a trail marker next to it to make it easy to find

The wasp queen is the only boss that I have had to repair my weapons mid fight because of the ridiculous amount of summoning

hm i first tested the whittl wizard thing on a rolly polly. and it didnt give a bleed effect? is it my game or does the roly poly have an immunity?

You need the spicy staff with whittle wizard. Sometimes having bugs ignore players turned on also stops certain effects from proccing

Have you considered the Assassin Mask instead. She is VERY resistant to poison. She’s not as immune to bleed.

Yeah this is definitely an option although it does come with lower defence so slightly more risk involved

hi para, can you recommend some default build for a tanker and a range in a multiplayer game? i play with my BF and we always get demolished in some bosses even if my BF follows your build, since the enemies get more hp when there are more players in the world.

For a range I recommend the bards Tudor, black ox crossbow, coup de grass, sharpshooter and a piece of assassin and moth armor. Should stack plenty of bleed onto the enemy with loads of crits. For the tankier player they’d run a mother demon chest, fire ant helm and ladybug legs to have high defence, inflict some debuffs and heal. Hope this helps

Enemies have more health in multiplayer. Spicy staff is the only one that deals bleed and only does so when whittle wizard is equipped

I personally find the wasp queen the most annoying boss in woah dif. it s just the worst , i ve beaten the IBM 6-7 times without dying once but i still get killed sometimes in the wasp queen fight. really hate this boss

I prefer to use the wasp queen helmet and the moth chest and legs for amor and the wasp queen bow. For the trinket I like to use the wasp queen trinket just because i basically get free arrows costing less recourses

The soothing syrup is the first recipe you get. If you make it sticky you get a special regen effect that you don’t get with the regular or beefy versions

@The_Apex_Of_Predators they promised us so much they told us they love the game and they don't see themselves stopping coming out with content.... as you can see by the player count the game is indeed dead asf even when they announced the awful last update people were mad as hell in the live stream and I personally quit playing even tho I put in 1585 in game days in grounded in 2023 the game is stagnant and offers nothing new. For a survival game with so much potential all they do is pander to the smallest percentile and ignore the hard-core survival players

​ @Itachia_GamingNA Yes, 2023, the year that only added the wasp queen, wasp, wasp drone, infected broodmother, brawny boy bin, 9 new armor pieces, at least 2 new weapons, tons of new trinkets, and, of course, playgrounds, I'd bet you haven't even tried some of the really good ones. And if you look on steam charts, you can see on the weekends that grounded (on steam ALONE) regularly reaches in the 7000s of players... totally a dead game. If you call 7000 players dead, then by all means, call it dead. But I want to reiterate what I said before, its a SURVIVAL GAME not a live service game, it does not die because it was not BUILT to be constantly alive in the first place. You say the game is stagnant and offers nothing new, but would you beat elden ring and 100% the game and then say that it's bad? One of the stupidest things people do are equate player counts to how good a game is, even when the games aren't even meant to have constantly rising hundreds of thousands, even millions, of players. That's how survival games work, you play through the game and put it down, simple as that. If you really like it, you can do multiple playthroughs and challenge runs and speedruns and play mods if they are a thing for that game. But you put the game down, and on updates, you play the game again, that is how that is how ALL survival games work. You also know that the developers cannot continue developing the game forever, and their solution so that the hardcore Grounded fans have enough content when that happens are playgrounds, canvas for anyone to create Grounded content, and the devs said that they are still going to be updating playgrounds sometime in the future. And even though Grounded isn't a live service game, it still averages thousands of players a day. On top of ALL THAT, the Grounded devs confirmed 1.4 will be survival focused and will be releasing in a couple of months.
