@Paraly5er if your gonna try this do it near the pond as sometimes on PlayStation the bugs that spawn during a raid can't be damaged they hit you you hit them back and it does nothing so you parry them back into the pond, you get alot of science too
The only one which was supposed to be harder is the normal broodmother, which has a 5% chance, instead of 10%. The meaty gnat is easier (10%) and the others were unchanged. At least that's what I think, but I have never tried to farm gold cards until something like a week ago, so I didn't notice. Maybe there is an external factor, or we are all unlucky.
just a note for the infected wolfspider if you use 15 fangs it seems to guaranteed to spawn. we did it 7 times and we got 1 infected and 4 normal. i say 7 because we got the card after 7 trys 😁 so for the extra 2 fangs its worth it jus for the 100% chance

Is there a known fix for the bug, that creatures requiring Director Schmector can not spawn even if Director Schmector is defeated? Farming the green shield bug seems impossible without spawning it through the waft emitter.
I honestly didn’t know there was a bug for that? It’s killing the ass man I believe and not the director that spawns them but I don’t think there’s a fix sadly. I would contact the support team at obsidian for help

Strange, shield bugs only appear in raids when assistant manager is beaten so make sure that isn't the proble. Aside from that keep trying, maybe more parts will make them appear
Today I put 16 super venoms in the waft and it spawned 18 widows…… I got enough super venom to spam it back to back grinding 18000 science every 5-10 minutes making duping resources and buff smoothies perfectly viable I’m at 74 widow kills and no gold card :(

You can use this for science, parts and gold cards. Spawn value means each part has a value and each creature needs a value to be met to spawn. So if a part has a value of 1 and a creature has a value of 3 then 9 parts would spawn 3 creatures

it helps with most creatures, but the likes of Termite King or IWS simply have such high cost, that the best loot luck won't help you and you'll still need to either duplicate parts or reload the save after unsuccessful gold card attempt...
@jesusjuice6772 there's a can by the pond, next to a juice box and a tree root. It takes some manipulating, but you can 100% get a foundation to clip. From there build up and set the waft in the back. Block the opening as best you can. The only insect that could damage anything was the rhino beetle when it threw bolders.
So the widow fangs give 10 points you say in the video it takes 20 to summon a widow then you put 1 widow fang in and a widow appears so is it 10 or 20 lol

This is a useful guide. Although you can learn most of these things on the go. Like, for example, I'm currently raiding wasps for gold card (700 (!) kills so far, no gold yet) and I've learned that I have to summon them one by one, because there is no way of summoning multiple wasps (without drones) unless you do one by one. if you need both wasp and drone gold cards, then obvs it's worth putting in more than one part in the waft emitter, but because I have drone gold card, I only need wasps and I can't be asked to deal with drones, so I'm forced to do them one by one. Luckily I was kinda lucky with IWS (42 kills), so I didn't have to reload too many times, though Termite king (177 kills) did cost me a lot not just raw science, but also IRL time (13h). From the creatures left the most annoying gold card is Scarab (the only creature left that I can't summon with waft emitter) as I have killed 101 so far and still no gold card... so every few ingame days just gotta go back to undershed and rinse and repeat...
Those wasps kills are probably from killing the wasp queen. I have almost 1000 spiderling kills and no gold card because I killed the broodmother 22 times (~ 200 spiderlings from the broodmother fights). You either fought a lot of wasp queens, or are really unlucky, or both. I am surprised you aren't struggling with infected gnats... I have already 90 kills (ik the chance is 1%, but finding these is really hard) but got no gold card =(. P.S. You maybe can get the wasps gold card from boosfights if you are fast enough to loot the "minions". I got my orb weaver junior gold card like that with the broodmother fights: It must work for the wasps too.

Wasps and wasp drones are easy to farm in masses if you have a structure around your waft emitter. The wasps will agro the structures which allows you to deal with one of them at a time.
Yeah I was in board with the whole all gold cards for 100% change because I feel like 100%ing a game should be an acheivement and is allowed to be a grind but the Termite King has single handedly changed that. I've spent over 300 000 raw science on duping his carapace alone, it's so dumb and I refuse to save/load for it. I really wish they'd upgrade it to boss status for 10% or even 5% heck even the meaty gnat got improved from 1% because it was such a feelsbad to farm for, and the termite king is a billion times worse. I'd even take reducing his summon cost from 100 to 50 so you have a chance to summon 2 in a raid. It's so dumb you can summon 18 BLACK WIDOWS (true final boss fight btw) but heaven forbid you be able summon more than 1 Termite King.

The raid bugs have reduced drops, so you usually don't get enough parts back without some form of extra loot luck.

Guard dog lvl 3 gives an extra 50% damage to raid bugs, so that's also helpful

It is a 1/100 chance. I know that you get some early, like me getting IWS at like 15 kills, and some are a pain, like Para5yer getting his IWS at 300+

Oh this is perfect timing. I just built an emitter on that one spot on the stumps. Haven’t tested it out yet.
