Very cozy and very well organized! Everyone has their own preferences, but personally, I like the teal color - it's unusual and attractive. Thank goodness it isn't awful red, or boring gray. I also like the oak cabinetry. I like the warmth and grain of natural wood, and I would not paint them. The teal ceiling might benefit from painting white to make the interior brighter and give the illusion of more height inside. If that turned out well, I might consider painting the walls - maybe. I’m so glad you’re enjoying the videos and thanks for your input. I painted the dark gray, fabric ceiling in my guest van, a tiny Transit Connect XLT, a bright white and it made a huge difference. I think the wood cabinets add warmth, but they are more orange than they appear on camera, so I might want to sand and restrain them a different colour. Still pondering the situation! 😊❤️

Don't paint the cabinets. Everyone that I know that had their cabinets painted, initially liked them but soon regretted it because the paint flakes off no matter what primer and paint you use. Your home is beautiful. Where did your bedding set come from? It's so pretty! How did you secure your Berkey and why is it wrapped? Did you use small macrame plant hangers for your Luci lights? The Berkey is held in place with a bungee, hooked onto two brackets that were already on the wall and the wrap on it is was purely for aesthetics, but I’m keeping my eye out for something better. I didn’t care for all that shiny metal. Yes, the Luci lites are in macrame plant hangers and I love the way they look! Luckily I have a furnace and a down duvet, so I stay very cozy. The summer is a different matter, as I only have a roof vent and no a/c. Luckily on the coast of BC it doesn’t get unbearably hot, or humid, but I hope to install a max air or fantastic fan one day. Because I’m staying close to family and friends I always have shower options, but I usually go to my local community centre pool. While travelling there are lots of options…gym memberships, campground showers, truck stops, etc.
@@chasingthemoonrv I’ve upped my decorating since I saw Luna at the RV seminar. I now have 2 36” pillows across the back plus a new plain grey quilt on the bed. I’m heading to Banff last week in July, then Calgary for the long weekend and hope to visit with a couple of long lost cousins. Why rush back? Then I’m hoping to stay in Jasper for a couple nights. Best of all, I’m booked into Sperling on the night before I head to Banff as I am so slow at packing. That way I can get an early start to Banff all organized. Hug Charlie for me. Pat
@@chasingthemoonrv with some of the craziness on the roads to, break-checkers are a major worry for me, I bought a 3 camera system, one for the front of the van, one inside the van and a rear camera….. it’s a large amount of wiring but my nephew was a great help along with using clear 3m tape and hooks! I never drive the van without the camera on now! Best investment we think!
Don’t feel bad about the difficulties of backing up….. my hubby makes me back the van up every single time…. He just can’t get the hang of it, and that’s with a rear camera and me out there guiding him!!!
