Was gonna say I had a magnum srt that was probably same weight if not heavier and mine was like 420 horse and pulled waayyy harder than that...maybe it's the AWD that takes away from the wheel power

The stock intake is SO GOOD on these. why would you change it and allow hotter air? All you really needed with an un-baffled tube replacement if you wanted to hear to whining SC.
You can get about 550-575 tops out of this car unless do some major upgrades.. and at that point it would cost as much as a V8.
What do you consider major?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you’re not getting 700 (or 600 for that matter) wheel horsepower out of a 3.0T. Sorry buddy. Should have got an S7 or RS7 if you wanted those power levels.

@@AdhemarOrtega hate to tell you this as well but 600 crank is very hard to get to. I am in an A6 3.0T dual pulley apr but switching to 034 motorsports. With dual pulley, heat exchanger, intake, test pipes and full exhaust, hpfp, e40 tune, and throttle body upgrade and a tcu tune I am still not 600 crank. Yes I could possibly hits 10s in this car and could see sub 3 second 0-60 but you will not see 600 crank with bolt on mods. I have been working on this engine for 3 years now trust me.

I have a 2016 and went stage 1 first since they sent the wrong pulley for 3 weeks but stage 2 with the Pully is way different. Have them change the water pump and belts while they do it.
Also recommend getting a heat exchanger before dual pulley. Heat soak goes crazy especially in warmer climates. I’ve heard good things about merc racing, love your car man!
Hey man! I'm looking to upgrade my crank pulley but was told you don't fully get to utilize it because u need the throttle body upgrade to get power out of it. Ive been deciding whether to upgrade the crank pulley or get a TCU tune.
@@MrSamoannn I would go TCU tune. What I’ve seen about the dual pulley setup is that you need race gas to get gains out of the crank pulley upgrade. If not, you’ll push even less power then single pulley. TCU tune will help get to those higher RPMS equaling higher peak HP so in my opinion TCU upgrade is definitely worth it.
@@williamottaway9966 Hmm wow my first time hearing that about race gas needed for being able to get gains for the crank pulley. I was told by those with dual pulley that it was like going from stock to stage 2 again lol. That's what I did. I pulled the trigger and went from stock to stage 2. But I'm glad I found someone that does a TCU tune for the ZF8. Unfortunately APR doesnt do TCU tune for the Stage 2. They have it for the Stage 1 only. Not sure why.
But thank u! Will def lean more into TCU tune. Been eyeing it for a while now. I don't want to upgrade to throttle body just because I've thrown over 5k already on my car lol.
@@MrSamoannn I understand that totally. I wanted to go straight to dual pulley but I saw on 93 octane single pulley puts on 20 more horsepower over the dual pulley setup. Although when you run race gas dual pulley smokes single. Interesting.
What good brands have you seen for the ZF8?
@@williamottaway9966 to be honest, I've researched a lot on audizine forums for a TCU tune and every post I've read led me to someone name Melen_TCU on instagram. He creates any TCU tune to match your stage 2 ecu tune. I'm only going through him Because APR doesnt have a TCU tune for the ZF8 so I've already been in contact with him about what is needed for it to happen. But he is pricey but I will def go through with it. Just waiting on my tax return 😂🤣. I think if I went with IE stage 2 tune I wouldn't need to do these extra steps since they have a TCU tune for their stage 2.

how much do you have to pay to achieve this power?
I have the A7 stage 2 and it gave me 420 hp and 850 NM its ridiculess fast i had a a7 petrol before. But the diesel engine is just so much more ridiculess fast for much less money. But in not saying the petrol is bad its just the diesel one is much faster and i like it more for that.

Adhemar I’d suggest water meth it can help with keeping temps down especially on the a7 with the supercharger heat is sucky

why are you not going to redline? its shifting at just over 6k when you can go to 7500.
The engine can rev up to 7500 but my transmission can’t go that fast until I get a TCU tune... it bothers me too lol

How did you get the boost to light up in lap timer mode
The boost doesn't light up unfortunately it's just the shift light. My tuner added this menu to my car but it's usually only the s7 and rs7 have it.

Well it’s still running 😂 only had to replace the motor mounts and control arms because of the bushings so far

500 horsepower with just the top pulley and tune? I have both upper and lower pulleys, 93 octane tune, air intake and some exhaust work and was told im around 468 horsepower. I was told if I install the ultra charger throttle body that id be around 498 horsepower. Thoughts anyone?
I have the 2017 a7 PP both crank and supercharger pulley, heat exchanger, and throttle body upgrade not to mention ecu tune, TCU tune, high flow cats/ down pipes, upgraded intake and I’m only getting 580 hp I’m waiting to start my TH-cam Channel and post my progress I spent more than 8k in upgrades outside and inside

Where did you get your rims?
C7.5? What engine code do you have? I have been looking for an ecu tune for CREC with the 4 bolt upper pulley, but no tunes seem to be supporting that. 034 you need to be local and in person, ie is still under development. Still waiting on apr and unitronic response for confirmation. Going to order an ie intake, and upper pulley with a tune as soon as I find a supported one.

@@jarrettmedeiros5675 apr does, and Unitronic does stage 1+. I just went Unitronic. Closet apr dealer was an hour away. Really waiting for ie before I go dual pulley.

@@WhoaNick haven't tuned yet, lol. Had it for about a week. Wanted to do intake first. I ordered an rkx inlet hose and a used factory air box I'm going to vent and open up for a middle ground of factory and full open exhaust. I wanted medium levels of sc whine, I'm not a fan of that obnoxious sc scream you get with an open intake. Doesn't fit the luxury style of these cats imo.
