I wish I had the wood upgrade like your grained finish. My launch control is stomp on the pedal, works every time. This is an old man's car, not a toy to be modded to death. Keep it classy.
Right who gets an a7 to mod the shit out of it just upgrade the pulley get tune all you need
If you get a Stage 1 tune from IE or APR, it has true launch control. The launch you're referring to is a trans brake, and it disables to protect your transmission.

considering the weight and tuning it for power, it is noticeable how heavy it is like stage 1 or stage2? i want one of these so badly but idk if the weight will hold me back?
Touch screen mmi would be nice but I would still want to be able to control it with the knobs , personally o don’t like touch while driving

If you were to leave it up, there's a potential chance that something could get underneath of it into the gears which could make it go bad.
I never had this problem with gearbox :DD
There's a mod that codes for the spoiler in the obdeleven scantool, a must have for audi owners I'd say

@@tylerschulz4470 “obdeleven” there are presets at what speed the spoiler stays up or you can make it permanently up or permanently retracted
Stupid question...but have you got it in dynamic mode ? If not, then it won't launch properly. In dynamic you should have to switch off the auto engine stop function.
Yeah bro I have. It launches well but if I hold it too long then it just stops working
In my A6 I had to press and hold ESC off for a few seconds until it truly turns it off and then it will allow a launch.. Just pressing it once is a half way mode.
I've tried to hold it but it does nothing
You can code in apple carplay and android auto. I know audi says it can’t on 2016 models but I did it in mine and it works so just check some guy who can do it for you and it’ll work.
Also it’s a comfortable luxury long cruiser kind of a car. It’s not really a car that you modify (certainly not one where you remove the seats because the car is too heavy). You should’ve gotten something different that suited your needs better in my opinion.
How can it be done? Is there anything that needs to be bought to get it done?

I appreciate this review! Many of the things that bug you wouldn’t bug someone who is looking to use it as a daily non-race build.
From your opinions on the weight, and aesthetics, seems there were much better cars for you to personally buy. I wouldn’t ever look into heavy class luxury cars for the needs you need. Definitely many other lighter options you should’ve went with.
As for someone like me, this would be an awesome daily driver for typical driving.
Facts I’m getting one soon but I’m trying not to make it a race car lol at most maybe a stage 2 tune and upgrading the front bumper
@@2kmessiah_350 I'm still looking myself. Considering a 2012-2014 A7 or S7. Looking for a daily driver so this car is beautiful for that. I think what you want to do is quite reasonable. I'd like to be able to have other people in my car too unlike Adhemar LOL sorry for the shot!
You should cut a hole out on that cover so you can see the super charger. Get a dermal cutter tool

Hey Adhemar, i have Got a A7 2012 3.0tfsi, if i Press the brake pedal hard, & floor the gas pedal it goes to 4000rpm? I dont know how long i Can hold it, but why are yours only at 2000/2500rpm? And about the engine cover, buy the one from a 2012 model, it Will fit and you Can see the supercharger with a clean look!
He didn't put it in sports mode for launch control I think that's why
I think it’s probably the way that they made the 2016 and up models. Probably like a safety feature or something. And yeah i was think I could do that but I didn’t know if it would fit my supercharger. But I think I might do that now

in terms of any issues (expensive) you've had w it? maintenance and whatnot...
I’ve had to replace 2 engine mounts and a control arm. I also replaced the water pump but that was in the very beginning when I first bought it so the dealer replaced it for free
How about some neon underglow lights, chrome rims, lighted valve stem caps, carbon fiber wrap the whole car and put an LS motor in it. It's a luxury car with a lot to extra additions than the car you're actually trying to make it to be, taking the seat out WTF weight reduction, man I miss need for speed , you can do all of that on the game and let the car be

Personally I’ve always liked the way black rims look on any car. So that’s an option. Definitely now that I got window tint it makes it look a lot better. And from there any mods like a grille or a new bumper or even lowering the car an inch would make you enjoy looking at your car alot more
If you lookin for wheels. Check out rohanas. I work at discount tire and there’s a s5 that got rohanas on. Probably some of the cleanest aftermarket wheels I seen for Audi

Just so we both on the same page you bought an A7 lol. Not an S7 or rs7. It’s not a performance car from factory. But I agree with the spoiler thing. Oh an the A7 is not supposed to be launched.

I think it’s really good Audi but obviously not as much as if you had an after market subwoofer
The Bose bass is very disappointing…. So… I took a heat gun and fitted an 8” higher wattage speaker with a large magnet (of course) and added an alpine amp to drive it using the Bose bass box speaker leads. MASSIVE IMPROVEMENT…. Highly recommend
How much mileage have you put on it and what issues have you had?

I have another to add to your list…. There is a volume knob on the steering wheel but NOT buttons to advance to next track or station!… this is only done with buttons on the center console meaning you have to drop a hand off the steering wheel to skip tracks etc….. I hate that! EVERY CAR has both volume and arrow buttons!

On steering star button you can set up for next song but no way for previous it works for only Bluetooth. Carplay you need to take hands off from steering. And Bose audio in A7 🤮🤮

I got it at about 33,000 before taxes and fees and it had around 23,000 miles on it

You're doing your launch control wrong fam lol. Turn off the automatic handbrake lol. My launch control revs up to 3,200 RPM on a stock 2016 A7. You're definitely doing something wrong I never get any issues with my launch control
Also you can do launch control in Manual mode as long as you set it to dynamic first. I found launching it in manual is much faster because it redlines. On sports mode it doesn't always redline which is mad annoying
I tried it but it still doesn’t rev that high. Maybe I just got a weird one lol
@@AdhemarOrtega One thing I forgot to note... the your engine needs to be warm. Make sure you're doing the launch control when the temperature is up to mid

This 2016 Audi A7 has Insane speed and technology. Maybe you should do more research to unlock the true power of this car because it sounds like you don’t know enough about this car in this review. Making modifications to this luxury car is a bad idea, huge mistake. Do that shit to a Honda Civic. SMH.

@@AdhemarOrtega listen to him. You do not wanna tune this car it’s a reliability nightmare. Tuning and diving is for Honda’s for more power you need an RS7. A7 is plenty fast stock for roads tbh.
The spoiler at high speed, its doing you a favor, learn aerodinamics
You can edit that in the software with a Laptop. (you will break the spoiler and damage the motors spoiler congrats!)
I sold my 2015. Shite. Worst then bmw. It was 50/50 if I get engine light or not. What a horrible car

Most of the weight is from the all wheel drive, not the monocoque. The monocoque is mostly aluminum alloy and is actually a lighter shell than the A4 and A5.
