    Do u plant in substrate like that itself.
    And do u have to cut the leaves.

    I have eriocaulon cenerum and ratnagiri. I am assuming the propagation is the same

      That's how you propagate it.

      Lystrung if you cut the roots the cut plant will have trouble absorbing nutrients? I never cut my roots and propagate fine.
      I wanted to know what exactly cutting the roots will achieve on a technical level.

      Neosin1 I don't know about this plant because I've never had it and just found out about it, but what I do know is that when you trim a regular aquatic plant it's to stimulate growth.

      Neosin1 The part he cuts are the flowering bits that will consume most of the nutrients. It’s recommended to cut them in order to not let the plant die
