The length of your plant videos is perfect. For us beginners, it covers all the common questions we have and tells us the level of difficulty. Really liked the content and entire presentation. Thanks!

I really enjoy this idea and type of video. My only opinion is that maybe near the end, you should put up some quick “to recap” facts on the screen. Like “lighting requirements, root feeder or column feeder, substrate, etc.”

Seems like a good plan, once a week video on plants. 10 minutes works for me. Most folks can find 10 mins a week to check out plants I would think.

This is literally my favorite plant! I've been working on growing a carpet of this in my 45. I actually discovered the plant through your videos way back when, so it's super nice to have a feature on it!!!

I found this plant at PetSmart and really liked it, but couldn't get it to grow. Then I heard Cory say that it needed hard water. I had been diluting my water down to 80ppm. I got new plants and put them in my livebearer tank with 325ppm tap water and it took off. One thing though, this plant comes from the same genus as the herb patchouli (pogostemon cablin). That means that it must really taste good, because vegetarian fish love to nibble on it. Another interesting thing. When I first planted it, it melted until there was only a liny little tuft of leaves left with almost no stem. These floated around for a while then started sending down roots, so, as long as there is even a tiny bit of green left ( about the size of a duckweed plant), you still can get your plant to grow. PS. In Laos they call it Downoi, which means "little star", and it is often sold by that name on eBay.

I've got some in my 30 long scape. It sat still doing nothing (I guess growing roots) for months and I was about to give up on it... but not long ago it exploded and spread like crazy. It's really unique looking. I have it in the foreground next to my monte carlo carpet.

Aquapros I believe you have bamboo and pathos in some of your tanks and filters. If I can make a suggestion for you and everyone else try using a Spider Plant the roots will grow and look amazing in the tank. Also I believe spider plants are good for filtering the air in your house.

Keep em coming! Love the informative videos! It would be good if you could demonstrate how to actually trim each plant? Do you just cut them anywhere and they grow back looking good or do you cut them at certain points to keep it healthy? I'd find this helpful!

Oh yeah, I also HEARD that you can bury a few coral chips in the root zone of this plant and even if the water is low in kH the plant can do well. I have not try this myself but seen excellent example of it.

I think the video can be slightly smaller as you are gonna post about a plant often. Also see if you can make a Plant Specs chart or a plate, where you mention its Hardness, fertiliser need, light need all sort of those things in a Still image also, So that for better recall people can take screenshot of it too, Also you can have the informal discussion about it keeping it crisp.

I got a couple of questions, so I just recently made myself a freshwater aquarium filling it with dwarf hairgrass. Would using an API CO2 Booster be different than using a CO2 tank for your aquarium in a case like mine? If so, how different? Also I got some yellow water in my aquarium recently after creating my aquarium, how frequent should I be changing the water or should I do it at all...
