I would recommend raising the flowering Eriocaulon with a hanging basket-planter so that it's flowers are clear of the surface. You can then encourage and remove the baby plants that will form just beneath. This is how they do it in the wild.

How do you get the bucephalandra brownie ghost this color. Or is this a special variety? I bought one some time ago but it was really green in my aquarium. Also wondering where you bought it.

This is brownie ghost 2011 which is very rare. There are other buce sold as brownie ghost but are just trade names so that they can sell them for more money.

Hi, great video, I’ve not had any flowers on any of my plants yet. I’m waiting patiently 😊 you mentioned you grew those from seed. Did you buy the seeds? I’ve not tried growing aquatic plants from seed, and would love to try. Will you be able to use the seeds from the flowers? Tank looks lovely. Do you have co2 on it? Cheers, New Sub from Australia ❤️🇦🇺

Yes I imported the seeds into the UK from another country. Most aquarium plant seeds available are fake but there are a few plants such as Eriocaulon which are commonly grown from seeds. If I grew these emsered I would be able to harvest the seeds and I might do that in the future. I used a full co2art co2 system but use the aquario mixer pipe attachment as the diffuser. Thank you for the kind words 🙏

I learnt my lesson on the hair grass seeds, didn’t work as advertised. I need to remember, If it seems to good to be true, it usually is!
