I think that the removal of pixelation made it less of an art in the sense that the artist made a pose for the Pokémon and they looked distinctly different from Game to game, whereas now it's all 3d Models so it's going to look identical from Gen to Gen for the most part. I probably sound like a geezer or something but I prefer for my Pokemon to be completely still because then every time a new game comes out you get to see a pokemon portrayed in a new way, which makes me more likely to play using that specific Pokemon!

I didn't count the RE's but I am willing to bet it was around 20k+ because of the amount of shinies I got before this that I counted! Congrats and you know....... I was on diamond and training pokemon in snowpoint City and a shiny sneasel came out of nowhere I didn't even have anything that increased chances of shiny encounters. Back then I didn't know about shinies but was kinda hyped seeing it and wanted to catch it but didn't have many poke balls with me. I came down to one last ultra ball and crossed fingers, threw the ultra ball and caught it. Was worried that the shiny colour would go if it ever evolved so I prevented it from ever evolving lol.
Unfornutaly, Sneasel. But hey, it was just a 1/3 chance to get her and shiny Sneasel looks great. I am glad that it is admant though. Nearly as perfect as jolly. =) Btw: Do you evolve your shinies in general?
I dunno if I'm stupid and if I should know this but what is a phase? I've heard it numerous times in other videos and can't find any information anywhere
I got Sneasel this phase, which is phase one. If I were to get Jynx next phase, that would be phase two. It's just the amount of hunts you do for a specific target. All clear?
Sonikkts I recently got into shiny hunting after the feeling of accidentally encountering a shiny shinx around my 20th encounter (not shiny hunting, just playing the story) in Pokémon pearl
No one will see this as this is old but been looking up on TH-cam if I’ve found a shiny Pokemon, as I found my old ds with heart gold inside of it, loaded up the game and the first Pokemon I encounter was a pink sneasel... I was about to escape as I haven’t played Pokemon in years but my daughter said that’s a shiny lol... I mean what are the chances after being on my ds for five minutes after it being stuck away for many years. Strange! There’s me thinking restart the game to get into it again but now I have a shiny which is apparently good lol
If you have another copy of any game you can trade it to and another DS, you could trade it away and then restart your file and then as soon as trading is available in that game; get it back so you have it for your journey. Idk if you have everything you'd need for that though, just a thought!
