- I'm so glad I ended up reclaiming this. To cut a long story short, my DS in my capture card died during the recording so I lost the first. I'd urge you all to check your battery capacity if you're able to as it was pretty devastating. The DS is almost 10 years old now so it's probably not surprising. Either way, I got the reclaim anyway and i'm really happy with it. Thanks everyone for the support.

Just one man's opinion, but I really don't think showing "no cheating device" should be necessary, I feel like people should trust hunters not to cheat. I understand why people do it, but it's a shame it's necessary.
I completely understand your opinion. This however was during a competition in which it was necessary. I usually don't show no cheats, unless I'm hunting for something very rare (Sinjoh Ruins).
If you look at most of my videos, I don't often show it. I agree with you entirely.
Matt Babineau I agree I think people should have more faith in there attempts of catching a shiny Pokemon I've seen all these people trying to glitch or cheat I'm getting shiny Pokemon but in my honest opinion I think it's dumb just a glitch or cheat on getting a Shiny Pokemon I mean it feels a lot better just actually getting it yourself you know I mean?!!😮

About two years ago, I was playing through my copy of Emerald and I found a random shiny cacnea. And this was only a day after I found a random shiny zubat from meteor falls. Recently started playing on it again to do all the battle frontier stuff and found a shiny Solrock in meteor falls
I found a shiny nincada in my copy of emerald it's such a good feeling finding shinies in gen3

I once found a shiny rockruff after my third encounter within the first few hours of Moon. I wasn't even looking for a shiny one, just a boy one, my brother couldn't believe it. Im still hunting vespiqueen, so far I got 22 Male combee

I know this video is old but I just came back to say that I just completed my first ever Gen 3 hunt and it was looking for trapinch In emerald in this desert. After 3,336 random encounters I actually found my target
lilligant is my favorite pokemon, so im using friend safari for that. Congrats on that though!
I miss the repel trick for the newer generations. I would use it on occasion in my nuzlockes, so that I could eliminate duplicates from my chance pool.
Sometime, I was just playing through Pokémon Emerald, this year, to be especific, and I randomly ran onto a Shiny Makuhita, by accident, and I hopefully managed to catch it. However I didn't use it in my team, 'cuz I didn't have plans for it. Playing Pokémon X, some years ago, I was also able to find a totally random Shiny Ursaring, in that route past the Pokémon League Entrance, the Victory Road Gate. And it wasn't done by me, my cousin, thinking about buying a copy of Pokémon Y, was training a Fletchling there, to trade it over 3DSs, and he caught it form me. We both thought Ursaring was about to throw everything up. Ahh, good ages...

In my copy of Emerald I found a completely random shiny Trapinch. probably one of the best random shinies I've ever found.
hope you kept that save file as you can get shinies in it!

No, it was a phase. Phase = finding a shiny. Phase 2 = the next shiny
