I feel that Jacob has almost mastered the art of deflecting everyone's bullshit long enough to finish the intro.
The problem is everyone else is even better at deflecting his intro in order to perform their bullshit. Which sounds like a mean thing to say but that's not how I intended it 😅
At this point he's becoming a children's cartoon character just so he can avoid everything they say

it needs to be said, given that these are stock images, there's a high likelihood that some advertising agency is gonna use these clouds and not realise that mickey mouse's sensory deprivation nightmare or sonic's butthole is hiding in them

I think my favorite part of the Sonic saga is that there is no possible way to predict when we will get the next installment. You just open your eyes on a random Thursday to find it's Christmas.

That Breakfast Club bit made me realize that the characters map incredibly well to Sonic characters. Emilio even has a blue letter jacket with a big S on it. Judd Nelson wears fingerless gloves. Ally Sheedy is Shadow. Molly Ringwald is Amy (Pretty in Pink!). Anthony Michael Hall is Tails. It's perfect.

Jacob slowly morphing from Lore Librarian to Jancy over the course of the intro was very good.
Love how for the first image, the cloud that got turned into the disturbing rabid Goofy looked like a beautiful sphinx with a single wing coming from her back to me, but uh. Yeah that image is gone now. Replaced by Goofy. As all things will be.

Also, just on a sidenote, why did Jacob specify that it's oatmeal? Like, who looks at a drawing of half-submerged Mickey and the first thought is "yeah that's probably oatmeal, can't think of a more reasonable liquid than that"? When I read the title and saw the thumbnail for a second I thought this was _definitely_ feature another instalment of the Sonic Butthole Saga™, but then I remembered how all previous ones had Sonic in the thumbnail so I thought "oh well, maybe this time she couldn't make it work". Boy was my expectation subverted in a masterly fashion. This is the kind of M. Shamalamadingdong level of twists on twists I come here for.

Getting a new part of the Sonic saga on the day that the Knuckles tv show trailer is released is some blessed timing
Ngl, I did use to take Drawfee for granted, hopped on when the Steven Universe episode popped off when it first came out and kinda fell off from there. I always knew they existed for the longest, but i had no idea about like...the basic shit when i got into them at the end of 2022.
I _started_ with Drawtectives Season 1, just getting into DnD and tabletop games in general, and i clicked on it not knowing what to expect. I got to see Drawfee crew embody characters in a fun light hearted and unserious way, all at the same time investing me in a world I hadn't know existed for years prior to me watching.
I fell in love with their dynamic so quickly, and the way they bounced off each other charismatically, leaving me in full blown belly aches from all the laughter. I didn't know about Porfo or Todd from Mario™, or Tiny Cowboy. I even, for a while by TH-cam, was only recommended videos where all four of them had drawn and awkwardly stayed away from these ones where only 3 of them were present/drawing.
I missed out on so much at the time it was released, but I'm here now when the channel is bigger and doing better than it ever has with a wonderful community.
I've found my people and my place here on the internet, thank you sincerely for making this a safe space ❤

When i was a child and went to summer camp i had an ipod that was only loaded with episodes of Kablam, and there was one night me and my friends all watched the episode where they played Dr. Worm and it was a really nice night, so every time Julia mentions Dr. Worm it just makes me a little happy

Expansion on this idea, I'm pretty sure if you put 'florida man' then your birthday into google a headline always up for EVERY DATE (it does work lol). Have the 4 of them do this and draw the headline that comes up
