It's a trash take because they put tater tots, hash browns, and waffle fries in S, which have basically the exact same consistency but aren't fun and nostalgic. Smiley fries are just fun and make me happy, but also I DID have them a lot as a kid so maybe it's nostalgia.
Lol I don't even care about their placements: potatoes are potatoes, and potatoes are good. I just admire Karina's ability to swing for the damn fences every time.

@@SexySkeletons69 gotta be nostalgia. the problem is that tots, hash browns, and waffle fries are all a type of cut potato--hash browns/tots are cubed pretty small but there's still potato texture there. with the smiley fries they fully mash the potato into a mush and then shape it. changes the whole vibe. if you've ever had latkes, it's like the difference between buying a mix vs grating the potatoes yourself. if you know you know!
plus my experience with smiley fries were always in a cafeteria setting where they never got fried or baked correctly, so i have like anti-nostalgia for them

Nathan, not wanting to sour the vibe, is then forced to just roll over. The amount of times Nathan just goes "yeah, put it wherever" after exclaiming he really likes a design on a tier list on a topic he's pretty passionate about is just so unfair.

Played Botw, Twilight Princess and WIndwaker (the latter two on original hardware) fairly recently and honestly the Twilight Princess dungeons were amazing and if it were about dungeon quality alone I would put Twilight Princess far over Botw. I get that it has a slow start, but honestly it's pretty great once you get into or past monki forest depending on how you feel about it.
Windwaker is in fact almost perfect.
yeah Twilight Princess had great dungeon design. i loved botw but the dungeons were dogshit. both too short and boring
True about the dungeons, but that was literally the only good part of the game. Everything outside the TP dungeons was a huge chore, it felt Nintendo went wild designing them and were then forced at gunpoint to create an overworld and story surrounding them.

I was surprised not to find more comments about this, I get that they understand Nathan and have their own opinions but as a viewer I would like that they took more in consideration what he says. When any other of them said a different tier almost always ended up in their favor over than Nathan's. It's funny to watch but after happening too many times I felt sad for him, don't know if because he is my favorite Drawfee member or not.

@@nate.draws.things I think the issue is less so that Karina overrules it, and moreso that Nathan doesn't particularly care for defending his opinions in these (meant in the best way possible). He doesn't wanna cause a conflict and thus is willing to go along with what the others say. There were multiples times where he says things along the lines of "I think it's X, but I'm ok with Y" even if the difference was on the larger end

i think it can be bad in a friendship if someone gets talked over a lot and i can see why this would give the vibe but i don't think that's necessarily the case here (they constantly praise nathan and even here they had the sandwich list where he gets thw most say).
i've been in friendships (and have seen loads others) where there's common interest/s but we argue about our faves/dislikes a lot. being able to argue about the little things and know that it's not gonna impact either people nor the friendship is a great sign of any kind of relationship, i believe.

I heard about potato mochi from Pokemon Legends Arceus and needed to try them, so I followed a recipe from Erina J here on TH-cam and they. Are. Incredible. Basically you make mashed potatoes, mix them with flour, shape them into disks and fry them. I guess there's a lot of different flavors/things to add, but this recipe has you cover them in a mitarashi sauce (kinda sweet and umami flavor). 10/10 would recommend, they're not that hard to make either!

@@crow2616 pretty good advice. Though I would also say there is no such as a valid emotion either. Emotions are irrational and silly and powerful. They don't always make sense. So rather than valid or invalid, I would say emotions are just things that happen to you. You can't decide what they'll be (for the most part), so it's best to not give them any value judgement and only focus on your actions and what you can focus on.

As a German, I am so proud that you appreciate our potato salad 💪🏻
As another german I was slightly confused, because we have two main types of potato salad. One with a mayo based dressing common in northern Germany and the other with an oil-and-vinegar dressing popular in the south. They probably meant the southern one, since it's the one that's sometimes eaten warm. I actually grew up with neither of these. In my family we used sour cream (and some pickle juice) to make the dressing.

@@not_on Yeah, in the US 'potato salad' with no qualifier refers to the mayo-based version. 'German' potato salad means oil (often bacon with the bacon fat) and vinegar, usually mustard and sometimes onions as well.
Meanwhile here in Sweden the staple potato salad is sour cream or creme fraiche based, so I'm hella confused.... 😅

They're just cubed, fried potatoes, and even though some people call them hash brows, they are not. What they are is dry and bland, and very disappointing when you order hash browns and get them instead.

My dad does a type of home fries we simply call "fried taters" and it is part of my childhood. I will say the cutting the potatoes like traditional fries instead of cubes makes them way crisper.
