As a lavahound player the evo cage is absulotely busted becouse of how it neutralizes the matchups or tilts it my side when I use evo cage 1 in every 2 hog riders simply dont pass or royal giant gets pulled in and I use guards to block it or it sucks in a pekka also goblin cage is alr 3 elixer goblin with 1 elixer inside a cage its hard to deal with in the start of the game like going cage first play can sometimes force the opponent to play something they dont want
before watching the video I expected Hog Rider to be at the top, but what you said about Flying Machine actually makes sense, it indeed seems to be the most balanced card

honorable mention (and controversial one) : if we're REALLY talking about competitiveness of players, and top 500 players in the game or grand challenge grinders and every player has a knowledge about every interaction and how counting cycle and elixir of your opponent, mega knight wouldve been here. I hate the card don't get me wrong because whenever i play in ladder i always play against it and i'm usually a classic challenge player i'm also glad because its EASY to counter; if you're playing against it with equal level it's such a skill issue if you find it hard to counter when mega knight in competitive picture has been around C- to B- card for the past year since evos came out and even when his evolution was released it hasnt gotten any nerfs and isn't ruining top ladder which kinda shows how easy it is to counter

I hate when people call cards "Mid Ladder Menaces". Im maxed level 15 in the Legendary arena and literally every deck I go against is Hogrider firecracker, Megaknight bats, and lumberjack balloon. Like WHAT are you talking about? Hogrider is not a midladder card, he is and has always been the most used win condition in the game. How can you look at the most used win condition for 10 years straight and not say he's OP? The only reason he isn't nerfed is because he's practically SUPERCELL's mascot.
If he was OP how come he doesn’t have above 10% usage in grand challenges? And how come the last time he got nerfed was over 6 years ago. I think he is a balanced card if not one of the most balanced cards in the game Edit: spelling
was enjoying the video until you said evo goblin barrel. that card is ridiculously busted with either evo valkyrie. you don’t even need recruits like you claimed it does. in bait, which has turned more into spam it’s a force negative elixir trade and double lane pressure, if you don’t have a spell most of the time it’s an instant loss just because it gets so much value
I disagree about the goblin barel being left alone. The goblins get a lot of attention as they are in multiple cards. Therefor I do think those changes may be pushed to al the variations.
I see where ur coming from actually but since the barrels interactions aren’t really the same as regular goblins it’s a bit different. One is a spell that deals direct dmg to towers. The other is a defensive/offence card. But yeah I think U are correct to say the barrel hasn’t really been left alone
Some of these are good takes some of these are awful😂 evo ice spirit is broken and same with evo goblin barrel, most pro players say both of these are going to get nerfed and are broken. As a bait player in high ult champ I love evo ice and evo barrel but they are broken.
The criteria at the start of the video explains that a card should have mixed opinions and he explained why. I think that goes to show he's right. if you encounter logbait with a beatdown deck of course it's gonna seem busted, situations like that make the opinions mixed in the first place.
