This has got to be one of my favorite series to work on and as it concludes I wanted to thank you all for the amazing support, ideas, and for watching! I am a FEIN for nostalgia and facts; and over these past 3 years, I got to talk about the old days and learned a lot myself as well. Compiling this video was a HUGE task because I had to re-edit the transitions... for every entry 😂 BUT... it was worth it, I hope you all enjoy, and farewell to this series! it was a great run.

I can't imagine how OG I really am in this game. I started around 2014/15 but wasn't an active clasher because it was difficult to come across MBs to play online.

I don’t know why but the most nostalgic thing for me is seeing the old hero models and animations, though I definitely don’t miss having to upgrade 4 diffrent barracks + 2 dark barracks

7:50 I would say that this is similar to what people claims as 'strategic rushing' today, as they are also trying to maximize their offense and leaving their defense at a low level.
However, the past was mainly for war to trick the matching system, but now it's only for personal interest.

Pekkas spinning as their attack animation was probably changed cuz it made them look WAY too agile even tho they were supposed to be in extremely heavy suits of armor that allowed for basically the bare minimum of mobility. I remember that, logged on the next day, and pekkas no longer spinning had me doing that surprised meme reaction of blinking

Good old days when lvl 1 Archer Queen costed 40k dark elixir, th9 upgrades took a whole month with only option to skip was gems.. When you had to go from barracks to barracks 1 by 1 and train troops here :D
I remember having to re arm every single trap one at a time, along with having to tap every single resource building one at a time to collect things. I’m so glad that’s not in the game anymore

Been playing since 2012 and just learned from this video that there is a training button and I no longer need to find a barrack or spell factory
I remember that 0:42 then i was in TH 9 and i also remember when i was on TH 8 there was a Rade flag but suddenly it disappeared 🙄
The finale and the series we will not forget
I remembered back in good old days where we have some group of Clan Members during Clan War that are also not directly in the war are considered Garrison Players. These Players are the support within the clan and the back bone of Clan Castle Donations. Now this is back then where there is no Gem troops donation. But back then, you need to have these guys around and have to coordinate with them within the chat so that we can be effective during Clan Wars. Although it isn’t as important now. I think my Clan still keep this as a tradition, because we got used to this so much that we decided to make it Tradition. But keep it at voluntary. Plus, we keep this tradition so much that we start to recommend my clans to atleast keep the tradition going, and make an excuse like “Save Gems for Building Upgrades” stuff.
Oh and during the time where Clan War and Main Base are shared. Our clans decided to make a Unified Adaptable Base (UAB) Basically it is a minor changes but it is adaptable base than can quickly convert into War Base. Yeah good old times. Basically it is simple. Townhall are usually at the center. But in non war time base Resources are at the middle. The base is design with a purpose that. When Clan War take place. You can replace Resource and Town Hall very quickly. This in theory you can have the best of both worlds. Wartime usually last for a day or two at the time. So this convertable is basically design to be convenient on replacing buildings. Now this does have flaws tho. Because this type of base are design to on'y replace resource buildings and Town Hall, which means defenses are pretty much the same. Which also includes the test of the base within the clan. Basically once enemies know the weak point. It all falls apart. It is risky but hey, it is the best we all can do at the time.

If you want a fact about broken stuff in general: clockwork warden on air mode animation is broken. Select the skin and go to your village, when he's floating arround his altar tap him to trigger the animation, it will play half way through and the he stop

They need to add back some defenses or traps dealing more damage to some troops. They need to buff defenses, especially against electro-dragons! Also, I KNEW the winter scenery existed! Didn’t it also change the colors of trees for winter and fall at one point? Also skeletons were changed to guards because they were too weak… ironic

You forgot to mention that people would place single walls outside the base to lure wall breakers so they wouldn't reach the walls protecting the base, this made using wall breakers impossible
I remember when war base design is the same as home base and also loot was too low at button of war and very high at top

War draw was most annoying because it breaks your clan war win streak.. but now even if you draw the war .. your streak will remain unharmed.. 🐼🐼👹
