A very solid kit, no flimsy or loose joints and the gimmicks and construction are MGEX quality. Also it comes in this flat plastic finish that makes it look presentable right away once you finish assembly. For once a knock-off kit is leaps and bounds above Daban (which sometimes is close to trash) or Dragon Momoko (good looking design, lame execution). Highly recommended especially if you love old school Gundam designs. I give it 4.8 of 5 score. Your cons actually are not real cons. My cons: 1. beware of sharp edges, some parts have very sharp edges and you might injure your fingers 2. snap fit is still not as good as Bandai, you will need pliers and some tissue or cloth to safely clamp and tighten some parts 3. if you want to assemble it fully armored then do it right away while you assemble the inner frames. DON'T assemble the frames first and then add the armors, you will have a harder time doing it 4. the right side blue ball shoulder pad can't really close flush on my kit, maybe I did something wrong with the hinges 5. neck ball joint (that connects to the head) is very tight, it's so tight I can't pull the head off 6. only THREE hands are included, while you have six finger configurations available 7. no special stand for the heavy shield
This straight up looks good even without the custom painting. I got one but haven't build it yet. I was able to quickly check the plastic and i think most of it had a flat finished which I like since it doesn't have a plasticky look. Can't wait to build mine now after seeing this video :) Great videos and pictures btw.
@@sHART1780 They fully know what people want, but stick to what will make them the most money for the least cost. There are tons of designs they could make, but they won't because they simply don't take chances. We're flooded with HG kits because they're cheaper to engineer and make. Plus when it's something extremely popular that they're sure will sell, they stick it on P-Bandai to get the price premium out of it. It's all corporate scheming toward profit mentality. So because of that, the door has opened for 3rd parties to come in, so I don't feel bad that Bandai is losing out because this is a situation they themselves have created by simply not listening to their customers.

Hi where did you get this kit, i have currently only see it selling on aliexpress, if possible, could i get the link of the shop of where you got the kit?
I'd be careful with abs, don't use lacquer based inks, it might make the plastic brittle, just use the standard panel lining pens if possible. Or water based.
I’m in the US and I can only get cr1220 batteries. They are not strong enough for both the lights and the motors to move. Works without the motors. What stronger batteries can I get here
That is sick, just barely managed to get 1. These review and comment sections really helped with my expectation. But I'm curious how the joint hold up? Can the arm hold the big shield?
Nice build! I would like to ask if you used the same battery type (for the bazooka) specified in the manual or any equivalent there of? Since I am having a hard time finding that battery here in PH, and I don't want to use a rechargeable one. Thanks.
kinda disappointed when the price suddenly went up when it arrived in my country, so I was having second thoughts if I should get this or the ERA+ aurora since it has the same price.
can't really fight the laws of supply and demand, this kit in my opinion, flew too close to the sun. I won't be surprised if this brand suffers the wrath of Bandai. lol
Just finish building the leg frame. The ankle is loose af!!! Do you need to tighten it or just leave it at that? I'm contemplating in tightening it right now before putting the armor. What do you think?
@mesandtoys one more, did you face difficulty when installing the electronic/motor parts or is simple enough for beginner like me ? And which stand/action base do you recommend for this kit?
Wow. I’m impressed how good this non-Bandai looks out of the box

regarding on the design, how much is it? is it already build or its a model kit?
got it for 3000php here, it is a full model kit. I have a separate vid for unbox and part preview.
Blows the Bandai kit out of the sky.
Does it need special batteries?
FIrst Bro Nice Review!! I hope I Got mine soon
to ship na kay hobbywang
Where did you get it from.
Bandai has neglected Stardust Memories so bad when it comes to MGs. It has the coolest mobile suits and no MGs in over 20 years.
You'd think it'd be the opposite really when you consider the fact that the GP series units are where Katoki started.
@@kivulifenrir I agree. The logic behind certain Bandai decisions regarding what the release seems very questionable to me.

@@kivulifenrir yeah its definitely become a weird situation where Bsndai is basically an HG producer and third parties are MG and PG producers.
It's because kiddie stuff earns more than UC. Business point of view, it was actually logical. look at seed now.
How much
And they still question me when I say SEED or 00 model kits are boring crap...

how did you get yours?? i have my preorder allocated but they havnt sent me my pay in full option yet??
well my shop here in PH had no hassle getting this.
How about the Plastic Quality?
Hi where did you get this kit, i have currently only see it selling on aliexpress, if possible, could i get the link of the shop of where you got the kit?
Not possible if you're outside of PH, try gundam model center or show z store
What to use for panel lining abs without coating first?
I'd be careful with abs, don't use lacquer based inks, it might make the plastic brittle, just use the standard panel lining pens if possible. Or water based.
Hey, thanks for the review! I'm waiting for my kit. I have some questions!
Is it fully ABS plastic? Have you panel-lined it?
I don't think this has any ABS material, it was soft to cut like polystyrene similar to bandai kits nowadays, not sure tho. But this is solid enough.
@@justgamesandtoys just a little bit scared to panel line it, because gundam markers will ruin ABS as far as i know
@@trickydmitrii5832 did you panel line it?
@@trickydmitrii5832i think enamel based liners will, but the regular felt tip gundam markers don’t seem to do anything to abs from what I’ve seen.

AG8 for cannon and AG1 for head.

you'd have to tighten the elbow joint to have raise the shield. it's just so heavy.
how you put the water slides on without them rubbing or coming off? did you clear coat this guy?
I did not coat this. i typically use decal softer then decal setter after

ag1(lr621w) and ag8(lr1220w)
Did any major trouble during build this kit ?
nothing major, it was a smooth build actually
Does the light function on the bazooka only have that flashing setting, or is it adjustable?
not adjustable AFAIK, It is also scary to activate this coz of the long contact pins.
Do you need to Sand some Joints so it won’t do too tight.. if it so, which parts?
Didn't sand any parts on this, you can build it as is.
@@justgamesandtoys so no “too tight joinsts?”
The neck joint is very tight, you would have a hard time pulling the head off.

leave it
It might’ve been an intentional design choice

你们日本那边的消息这么慢吗?我看韩国这边都有不少测评了
How the joints feel ? overall solid or some part are too loose ?
it's sturdy enough to pose it how you want.
@mesandtoys one more, did you face difficulty when installing the electronic/motor parts or is simple enough for beginner like me ? And which stand/action base do you recommend for this kit?
It's a bit tricky because clearance is small for the wires but i bet you can do it. Any 1/100 base is enough for this.
