- Bandai listen to us please, we want kits like this!. I forgot to mention in the video the Nuke launcher has mechanical motors(optional) the wires felt a little tight for me so i left them out on my build and there is a non gundam face option , i completely forgot to build that. Im a GP02 Stan

Jazzed to get this big s.o.b tonight. Surely I’m not the only one that geeks out, watches videos, and reads about the MS before i build it, am i?
@@dr.jimeagleii4108 nah I do it too lmao
Just finished mine today, I figured a 3rd party kit would be way harder then this was. I did have a few issues while putting it together though. The ring of the left shoulder plate cracked from the weight being put on it. The center head vent, and the bolt things of the shoulder orbs were mismolded and only could save the head vent. And the motor gimmick in the bazooka wouldn't work cause it rocked which locked it up when you put the two half's together. Other then that this been one my fav kits. He gonna need a stand though between that shield, bazooka, and shoulder thrusters.
I hate to hear you had those problems , as much as I love third party kits. They simply don't have the QC of bandai so you will have the problems sometimes. But I'm happy you liked it overall :)
absolute unit of a kit. looks like a solid build!
built this kit recently I loved the build but the ankles on mine feel really weak and the V fin is fragile.
mine are a little loose, it wants to fall back sometimes. But fully equipped it seems alright
Beautiful kit have you built the re 1/100 gp04 it came out in 2017 I believe
I actually picked it up not long ago when it got a reprint , havent built it yet but I will eventually:)
Be careful with the ab peg on that thing. Don’t do a bunch of crunching and moving on it. Its a nightmare to fix.
@@dr.jimeagleii4108 i gotchu
Hi, what did you use for the panel lining? I’m afraid of using enamel due to it’s ABS plastic
@@kevinguo7498 on this one I used the tamiya panel line fluid, just panel line before assembly. Never had any cracking this way
@@kevinguo7498 keeping it from pooling up is the big thing, but if you wanna be 100% safe use the felt tip Gundam panel line markers : )
How did the overall build quality feel? I'm debating on getting this.
its just about bandai quality , but be careful after its been on my shelve one of the parts cracked from my tamiya panel liner
@@DellsGunplaetc. always gloss coat before panel lining!!!
@@animousworks yeahhh :D i was lazy clearly my fault
Not bad
@@jickeyyeung4016 thank you, im still learning and improving on the video side of things
You sound like Skeeter Jeans.
Lmao who ?
@DellsGunplaetc. Have you ever watched the show called To Catch a Predator by Chris Hensen? Skeeter Jeans one has the same concept but different execution. It's very entertaining to watch as these predators get caught and taunted.
@@christmasisawesome9348 ahh okay I gotcha , I'll give it a watch later on
how about the snap fitting? is it hard?
nah it goes together pretty easy, just be sure to cut off the undergate nubs
Mentioed it needs batteries but not what type?
It uses SR621SW and CR1220 or equivalent, the instructions gives you what they use. Its what i had lying around and they worked
@@DellsGunplaetc. I'm currently building gp02 rn, did you have troubles with the head? On the runner A6 looks different than in the manual
@@HiroTheOg I did not , you might have a missprint , I still got my booklet I can take a look at it after work if you'd like
@@DellsGunplaetc. Yeah I got it to fit after some sanding and shaving of both parts but now I'm having other troubles, I'm using CR1220 batteries for the motor and LED gimmicks on the bazooka, they just don't seem to work well sometimes and it's very inconsistent. I'm wondering if it's the electronics or the batteries.
@@HiroTheOg i noticed issues with the bazooka after the fact, doesn't seem to hold batteries in tight enough to make a constant connection
