Just did the replacement, took less than 50 minutes, watched my security cameras after to see. I DID not remove battery, first I pulled off the engine dress up cover, removed the 12mm bolt that secures the other hose next to the bypass valve to gain access to the bypass valve 12mm bolt and then removed that. used a pick to pull out both sides of the white clip that holds the hose to the bypass valve and removed the hose, coolant spills out, no big deal. Then from the video above I removed the wire that is held on with a 10mm bolt and move it out of way. I wasted probably 10 minutes looking for a mirror to see the clamp on the hose that is the short end of the hose down below the bypass valve. Once i seen it i knew what I was working with and felt it to get a set of pliers on it. I used a square end set of pliers that had about 3/8 wide jaws. Other pliers would slip off. Hose slid right off. Next was the lower hose, there's a plastic bracket on it halfway that holds two other hoses, just unclip the bracket from the other hoses. Once that was done I turned the wheels as far right as possible. I lied on the ground and could easily see the lower hose and clamp. The clamp ends were facing up and all I did was use a pick screwdriver with a hook end to grab it and spin it around. Then it was very simple to grab the clamp and slide it off. I slid this one onto the mount instead of back onto hose, made it easier for install. Reversed everything you did and top up coolant in radiator through radiator cap, not overflow bottle and run engine to get air bubbles out. rinse away any excess spilled coolant and done.
OK, mine went out around 60000 miles and luckily I had. Platinum Extended warranty so I didn't have to pay for it. But yeah, what a pain. It was right after an oil change

That depends on your warranty. If it had expired, they would charge you around $700.00.
