Hi mate..I've been plastering over 25 years.. cant fault your plasterwork. Even though you dont do much of it. Yeah it's an art in its self..also a hard old trade. Well done my friend. Greig from bonny scotland👍
Grab yourself a internal corner trowel makes life really easy in the corners keeps everything nice a square 👍🏼 Videos are quality, keep up the good work.
Great video Stu, and all rest you’ve done. I wish I could do the same, my Grandfather was a stone mason by trade and I’ve been brought up helping out on jobs. Life just turned a corner and I’m a Paramedic now. I love DIY and not afraid to have ago of anything. I have no doubt it’s tough in building trade but given my time again, I would have loved to work for myself and do it. I like the the work you do, the videos you create and your general ethics. Keep up the great work 👍
Great video and nice to see the finished job , and yes recommendation is what we all strive for and you know what they say good news goes at a snails pace but bad news goes supper sonic keep up the good work Stu
Awesome job Stu 👍🏻 One of the first things I did when I got my own house 20+ yrs ago was plaster the living room. Like you say not an easy trade. But of course it helps if you have the correct tools, you gotta treat yourself now and again 😁
Great job, stu. Just one comment: check the recommended screw spacing from one of the plasterboard manufactures. Generally it's 150mm, particularly for ceilings. This didn't look enough at all (even if it did hold up)
Another great job stu just a little tip pal you can use staples to put the beads on just means you don't have to wait for the dab to go off. Love that you got yourself a ox trowel try a Superflex trowel next pal there really good
next time stu when ya beading spray some blobs of expanding foam on the back of your beads and staple. let it go off and scrap the excess foam off they go of in 10 mins and never move you can get them corners to meet perfect with staples which stops lines on the corners when you skim them
First of all brilliant music stu you should release a cd (music to work with) secondly did you have Mr cholmonldy Warner with you putting the beading on😂😂👍 and finally brilliant job again,👍👍👍 and yes plastering is definitely the hardest trade had a go couple of times never again. Nice porch👍👍👍
Stu you can also get an adaptor for the SDS Drill with a mixer on it save you wearing out you little cordless Makita and the SDS has a lot more power so it would mix quicker Just thought I let you known 👍👍
Could you plaster the blockwork directly without adding the wallboard first? Or does using the wallboard save a lot of work / time to get the desired result? Thanks
when You learn before plaster strenght mesh on board conection lol craks all around aftre first paint 100% quaranted :) Than they will say its "normal" bcs hous working hahah, just use some at least flexible filler on mesh before plastring guys it not take much time and efort
Honest. Hardworking. Humble. Delivers quality. Fantastic to see Stu - well done.

Did you run out of screws on the ceiling Stu ?
First of all brilliant music stu you should release a cd (music to work with) secondly did you have Mr cholmonldy Warner with you putting the beading on😂😂👍 and finally brilliant job again,👍👍👍 and yes plastering is definitely the hardest trade had a go couple of times never again. Nice porch👍👍👍

Just wondering if you have to unibond the walls first before plastering or is it ok straight on with plaster?
Yes, Can skim straight onto plasterboard.
Hi what filler do you put on the beeding? And do you put the dot dab mixture between the gaps/joints
hi mate you have done nice job how much you charge for this porch with material plz?
Enjoys your vids so you know for the future you should pva the green boards that's what they say anyway
Золоті руки!
Overkill on the Down lights lol
Just a quick question, is there a reason why you used moisture plasterboard instead of just regular boards? Thanks so much, love your channel
The home owner got the board for free, he mentions it in his vid.
Muy buen video. Like👍👍👍😉😉😉
Hi stu , great video , have you heard about the petition on van theft ( novanber ) and will you sign it , to help to reduce tool theft , thanks stu .
Hello Stu first again 😂😂 how much to come to Blackpool to build a front wall? 😂
I'm on Blackpool. Doing a full front remodel and K Rend .. (making right typical Blackpool Rush .. jobs lol )
Could you plaster the blockwork directly without adding the wallboard first? Or does using the wallboard save a lot of work / time to get the desired result? Thanks
You can put a coat of bonding on then skim over that
How did you clean the plaster off the windows?
yeah and theres protective tape on the frames which will be cut off after
No skrim on the joins?!?! Brave...
There is scrim on every joint you may need to pause and zoom for clarification

Very difficult skill master. Wait until you get a problem background that sucks in faster than you thought it would.
Одличан Кромптон!!!

DragonBallForever English clearly isn’t your first language. I have no idea what you just said.
@@theparson4944 Use flexible filler on skrim joints and skrimmed beading before plastering to stop cracking later on.
No tape on any joints or corners tut tut
Of course there is, look again pause if you have to, thanks for watching 😁
