This was an excellent video. As a recent customer of Airstream Nuts & Bolts I can testify that Ronnie is legit. What I experienced was remarkable, and I would recommend Airstream Nuts & Bolts to anyone that wants quality work and craftsmanship. You would not be disappointed.
Great video! We did an upgrade with Ronnie in October. As the two of you are discussing the Boondocking Bootcamp, we are sitting here in our Airstream in TX, boon docking, it is raining, and cold outside. We are in our little pod and our Airstream is taking care of us!
I'm sitting here contemplating the type of RV best for me - truck camper (Cirrus), 5th wheel (Brinkley) or travel trailer (Airstream) - and researching what I want as so many others have done, this video made my decision. Call it fate or a divine sign, but the Airstream I had decided on before this video is a 27FB twin..... and then he calls that out as his favorite model to work on 😃 Such a great video and love the honesty from both of you. Thanks!
Thank you so very much for watching and your feedback! We have many videos on our current and previous Airstream. Please let us know if you have any additional questions on anything.
Excellent video! You and Ronnie are both tremendous assets to the Airstream community, thank you for all you both do! When Ronnie opens up his reservations again, I hope I can get on his schedule!
Terrific! Really enjoyed this conversation. It has been a pleasure to have met you both. We are super happy with the upgrades that Ronnie and John did to our rig.
Great interview Brad...We have and do enjoy the quality of work that Ronnie puts out of the shop and also the education that comes with it....We think you get more than you pay for...Thanks Brad , Thanks Ronnie
Awesome interview Brad and Ronnie. Great to hear about the GT 27 FBT as that is what we want to purchase in a couple of years and hope to have Ronnie work on it for us.
Great video!!! Always informative content on your channel. We visited Ronnie and family in June 2022 for our lift and solar install. Awesome experience of upgrades and learning! The best!!! Airstream Happy Ours
Great interview! I have an appointment with Ronnie at Airstream Nuts and Bolts for a lithium upgrade in February. I value quality workmanship which is why I'm willing to drive from Iowa to central Alabama in winter to guarantee the work is done right rather than hope it's done right a a local dealer.
Brad, Awesome / Awesome chat with Ronnie. I took my 2019 27 FBQ to him this last Feb and he did 6-8 “tweaks” that did NOT include LARGE installs. I’m ecstatic that Ronnie is crushing it BUT hope he will always have room on his calendar (8 months out) for the tweaks!
Hello! So great to hear from you and thanks for watching and your feedback! I think he does a great job of scheduling with the big builds so he can do stuff like that. Such a great human!
Thank you for this video. I'm thrilled to hear that he puts family and his life ahead of working himself into an early grave and glad you are taking that "me time" too. Thanks for sharing.
Great video. I wonder if you would consider a future video explaining why you would get a Globetrotter instead of the International. There are some obvious differences, but I wonder if there is more to it.
Absolutely! Mostly we love the lounge around the rear. We love the 27FB twin floor plan. If you havent yet watched our tour of our friends Globetrotter, you'll see some of my thoughts on why we love it: th-cam.com/video/IrTSfjgGr2k/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ck7k9urrmHPWYSME
Thanks for watching! Mostly modifications and upgrades unless it has something to do with component replacement. He does not do furniture repair or structural repair.
I have seen the work Ronnie does through KYD's channel and he appears to do a very good job. We have a 2005 Classic 28' and I have done all of the work myself by simply watching how to do videos whether its plumbing, electrical, AC Easy Start install, brakes, repacking axle bearings, installing StarLink cables, resealing the trailer or installing a new kitchen sink. I'm not sure exactly why Classics are so hard for him to work on? What I would actually be interested in knowing is how many of these people who have these solar installs actually boon dock and utilize the system to its potential? Also, what really is the cost benefit to do this versus sticking with propane along with a simple gas generator? I would like to see that video! My gut feeling is a lot of these people just like to purchase all the bells and whistles and their Airstream will primarily be hooked up to shore power; never ever having touched a dirt road... but it feels good. Keep the videos coming my friend.....
Hello! Thank you very much for watching and making us a part of your day. Im pleased to hear that you have been able to do all the work yourself and use what you install! I have that conversation all the time with folks about their rigs. So many come in with all these grand ideas of they want all the 'extra' and I do my best to deter them from it as its often a giant waste of money.
I’ve seen GMFL pop up on AF in the past no idea it was Ronnie. Is his blog still there? (link?) Read all his articles on RV Life already but would def peruse entire blog.

Great video! Does Ronnie do repairs or just modifications and upgrades?

Quick question on the ozone generators don’t they cause rubber seals and plastics to degrade?
Great question, it's best to contact the manufacturer on this as I am not aware of this issue.

Hello! I dont know if the blog is still there or available. You'd have to reach out to him for guidance in these areas.
