And their father's and other relatives probably fought in the American Civil War!!!!!!! How's that for some LIVING HISTORY?????!!!!!!!!!
Its been 80 years since this comedy masterpiece was filmed, and we're still loving it! The Stooges NEVER went out of style...after their short subject film careers ended in 1957, television, feature films and a new generation of young viewers (and every generation after that) brought them show business immortality. That's true greatness!

The taking of the oath scene is one of the all-time classic bits of comedy. Curly flips the camera the bird twice at 13:00. This was done on purpose, as a protest to censoring, and surprisingly, it got through.
I watched this so many times as a kid and all these years later I still remember most of the dialogue, these guys were true geniuses. I still say "I'm a victim of circumstance." all the time, lol.
Curly's question: I've got it,(the stand) Now,what do I do with it????!!!! It's amazing that my favorite sketch is from 1936! This sketch is what fuels me to not end my life in a never ending battle with crippling depression and AIDS.
I didn't know that thxs they raised funny sons moe curly (my favorite) even shemp now was the other one kin to them Joe (he played after shemp and curly had passed)? I know Larry was a friend
At seventy three,...I still watch and love the stooges....specially this episode one of my favorite and funniest,..the old lady in the jury is great and unique...love it....
This was the best to comedy back then. These three were what kept the depression laughing, what kept WWII funny, and what kept classic humor alive. You can not get any better than either Three Stooges, Bud Abbot & Lou Costello, or Edger Burgen with Charlie Mcarthy and Mortimer Snerd.
i'm 26 but i still grew up on all of those that you mentioned J.E. Draus. i love the old shows and movies like that.. people my age look at me like i'm a crazy nut for liking stuff like this
Anyone watching this must realize the timing genius of Curlys line delivery. . .He never ceases to amaze me, even when it’s not his turn just watching his body language and facial expressions are just comedy gold.
I feel like it's worth pointing out that Larry was actually a violinist before he went into comedy makes me appreciate the music scene a little bit more
Judge- why don't you answer him? Curly- he's talking pig Latin. I don't know what he's saying!! Judge- he's asking you if you swear-- Curly- no, but I know all the words. That never gets old 😂😂 😂
Curly:Well it was like this mr court Lawyer:Address the judge as your honor Curly:Well it was like this my honor Lawyer: your honor not my honor Curly:why dont you like him
Unfortunately, they usually take jurors who do not belong there and who have criminal records including for felonies which were reduced to a misdemeanor charge like in the Andrew Goldstein case in which there was a juror who assaulted a police officer and was locked up for a year and he yelled at the other jurors calling them murderers because they said Andrew Goldstein was guilty of murdering Kendra Webdale in a subway station. When reporters asked Mr.Ramos why he went on jury duty with his criminal record he said"No one asked me." Now that's really disorder in the court.
Lmao. I love this episode!!! Moe - Hey, what's the idea, spoiling the game?!" Curly - "I was for onesies." Moe - "Well, here's twosies!" Larry - *laughing* "He was for onesies, you gave him tw...(shuts up). Moe - "Here's fivesies!!" *slap*
Jude Williams Charles Chaplin and Buster Keaton were among the original comedy masters and they came before The Three Stooges on screen especially Chaplin who was on screen debuted as his Little Tramp character actor in 1914.
@@scottknode898 i have me my most treasured possession in all of my life my sir charles chaplin autobiography well just sharing he's my hero and inspiration
Larry is so underrated; I've probably seen this episode 30-50 times, but this is the first time I noticed him using his violin bow to jab at the "tarantula" on the floor. I'm pretty sure he flicked it too far, then tried to yank it back into the center of the shot. He did dozens of subtle, silly things in every film they made. It's funny: I'm pretty sure I read that when Moe was trying to recruit him, their producer (or whatever he was called) felt that Larry was "too handsome" to be a Stooge lol (although I suppose he was being compared to Shemp & Moe...). I love these guys. RIP.
I miss being a kid in the 80’s and watching the end of summer Labor Day stooge’s marathon right before we went back to school each year. My brother and I would stay up all weekend watching 3 stooges until we dropped and keep going as soon as we woke up.
This episode is the very first episode i ever saw of the three stooges. N i fell in love with these dopes ever since. " a terantula? Put 5 holes in a divet... Wasted 5 good slugs." Lmao

It's amazing that my favorite sketch is from 1936! This sketch is what fuels me to not end my life in a never ending battle with crippling depression and AIDS.
Hang in there. I am sure you make someone happy.
Stuf Chicklen l
Amazing how great comedy has the power to do that. Comedy is one of the the few things that that man does that is divinely inspired.
Trivia: At 10:02, see the public audience. Second from the right, in front, is Solomon Horwitz, father to Moe, Shemp, and Curly.
so curly knocked his dad lol
+saudade2100 I thought their mom was in there also. I could be wrong(not the first time.)
Darren Cork I heard that Jenny Horowitz was a Fireball of a woman and not someone to get on the bad side of.
I didn't know that thxs they raised funny sons moe curly (my favorite) even shemp
now was the other one kin to them Joe (he played after shemp and curly had passed)? I know Larry was a friend
saudade2100 moe and curley's mom and dad are both in this short!! both towards the end of the jury box.
At seventy three,...I still watch and love the stooges....specially this episode one of my favorite and funniest,..the old lady in the jury is great and unique...love it....
+walter condi :)
Draus. i love the old shows and movies like that.. people my age look at me like i'm a crazy nut for liking stuff like this
Kai Suoh God has praised a great person. Kai, I'd like to say it's nice to know you and I have a bit in common. :)
J.E. Draus thanks. i really appreciate that. It's nice to know you too :)
Anyone watching this must realize the timing genius of Curlys line delivery. . .He never ceases to amaze me, even when it’s not his turn just watching his body language and facial expressions are just comedy gold.
I feel like it's worth pointing out that Larry was actually a violinist before he went into comedy
makes me appreciate the music scene a little bit more
"Whatsa matter with you? you're in a court, not in Clancy's Pool Room! *smack* Sit down!" 😂😂
Adam Zimmerman Who you hittin!? (eyepoke)
Probably my favorite Stooge line
"I'm a victim of circumstance!"
I swear Moe was the MVP of the three lol
Tried my best not to laugh but, when moe pulled out that pistol, I lost it.
hopndon I lost it way back at 2:52 when Curly fell over the gate!
And the fact that he couldn't even hit the target 2 feet away.
Yeah funny how the scene descends into chaos.
@trinityc1970 THAT, was too much! Lol
Shot 5 holes in a divot. lol. Classic. With the bailiff’s .38 revolver too !! LMAO.
Task force guy - over n out.
I love when Moe says to Larry you're in a courtroom not in the jungle Tarzan and smacks him across the face and Yanks his hair hilarious
Actually he said woods instead of the jungle
Judge- why don't you answer him?
Curly- he's talking pig Latin. I don't know what he's saying!!
Judge- he's asking you if you swear--
Curly- no, but I know all the words.
That never gets old 😂😂 😂
Judge: he’s asking you if you swear to tell the truth
Curly: Truth is stranger than fiction, judgy wudgy.
RIP Curly Howard, Moe Howard, and Larry Fine Better Known Ask The Three Stooges 😭
Curly:Well it was like this mr court
Lawyer:Address the judge as your honor
Curly:Well it was like this my honor
Lawyer: your honor not my honor
Curly:why dont you like him
Thanks, Courty. You're a pal.
lol "what's the big idea"? "I was playing for onesies" "well here's twosies" EYEPOKE
Here’s fivesies *slap*
I could watch these all day! They never get old!
This Three Stooges courtroom sketch is way more entertaining and makes much more sense than the She-Hulk courtroom scenes.
This!
You are so in the right, my friend.
I used to watch these guys every day when I came home from school.
😂👍 same here my friend
No, no.....talk so the jury can understand you.Curly: Is everybody dumb? classic
I cracked up when Moe and Larry finished tic tac toe on the guys rear end. 😂😂
81 years later, we are still laughing!
Been watching these guys 40+ years....and it NEVER gets old.
This is one of my absolute favorites...when Larry yells after "killing" the gum...I love it...
Moe is an A hole. lol
Pig and the cookies
Funny AF

Favorite three stooges episode ever!
This is one of the all-time best stooges episodes, if not THE best
I'm proud to say my grandfather was a cameraman on The Three Stooges.
Prove it
Curly was my grandfather
I'm Curly.
That is amazing
I'm watching this comedy show since 2008. Who watch in 2019
Me , comedy was king on that time, today only real drama 🎭
if anybody ask these were the original kings of comedy
You aintlying about that!!
No the original Kings of Comedy who took over and ruled was Abbott and Costello date of birth date of greatest of all time!
@@paulhightower1857 did you mean chaplin?
Jude Williams Charles Chaplin and Buster Keaton were among the original comedy masters and they came before The Three Stooges on screen especially Chaplin who was on screen debuted as his Little Tramp character actor in 1914.
@@scottknode898 i have me my most treasured possession in all of my life my sir charles chaplin autobiography well just sharing he's my hero and inspiration
This is my favorite Three Stooges episode ever!
My favorite too !!
Raise your right hand skit is hilarious
Put hats on and raises right hand**
Judgie wudgy lol
stewart snape take off that hat lol
Tim Gavord will you throw that gum away??? soetenly!!! look I got rid off it and curly looks at Moe with the gum on his nose!!! LMAO!!!
Ghetto8 Wizard 00
This episode is the very first episode i ever saw of the three stooges. N i fell in love with these dopes ever since. " a terantula? Put 5 holes in a divet... Wasted 5 good slugs." Lmao
***** ditto on that. The three Stooges are the funniest dopes
It's the first I remember ever seeing. I've got fond memories of my brother and I laughing until we almost cried watching this.
Bradley Redlich
Noel Cotelo did you know that Moe and curley's mom and dad were in this episode?? there at the end of the jury box!!!
This was my first too. It holds a special place in my heart.
you just have to love the three stooges and the dancing woman is beautiful
She is although in today society and the demand for the best in beauty, she would sadly be considered average.
Average? Hell, she THICC before THICC was a thing. A-woo-woo-woo-woo!
How true ! She's strictly from hubbahubbasville !! :-)
🤣🤣🤣 When Moe shot the toupee, that did it for me!!
Drop the vernacular....
Vernacular? That's a derby!
Drop the vernacular!
IT'S A DOIBY !
What do he mean by “drop the vernacular?”
He means stop talking in slang.
vernacular mean stop the silly talk
