Why? Why did I ever decide to Google this old show and then watch it at work. Someone had to come over to my desk and tell me to stop laughing so loud , because he couldn't hear himself on the phone. Dear God. This was the funniest duo in comedy back then. My family never missed their movies or tee vee show when I was growing up in the 70's. Pure, clean, honest, hilarious comedy. Slapstick at it's very best.😂😂
A lot of their TV episodes were based on (at least to some extent) their movies, such as the episode called "The Army Story" which is based on "Buck Privates." Also, I love that they have Hillary Brooks in a lot of their shows. She played the villainous boss-lady, "Diane," in their movie "Africa Screams."
@@danielvain After the first season they got rid of Hilary Brooke , Gordon Jones, Besser and Mr. Batchagalio (pT.he actor's name escapes me). That is why the second season is not as good as the first
@@kevinmadden1645 btw, "Hold That Ghost" is definitely one of my favorites of their films. It has one of the best lines from Abbott, i.e., when Lou hits his head getting into the car before heading out to the hotel, Bud responding, "Go ahead, ruin the man's car." -Cracks me up every time.
Man, I love Abba and Costello. I was born in 1971 so I really love shows like this get smart the old black white Flash Gordon and many other shows like this
