Hi, current solo Warden player here. I have been off and on, getting back into foxhole the last 2 wars. War 116, definite population decrease from prior wars. War 117 currently, we have taken back ground in Stonecradle and Farranac from when I have been on since the war started. I think population is there, and I agree with you, it's a lot of new players. But one monkey brain maybe not smart to push back Colonials. Many monkey brains work together, and great things happen. Cheers to a great video Robert!
It's funny I dropped this video today because the Wardens really are starting to push back! I meant to post this last week when things were not looking good but I was a bit sick last week. Keep pushing Wardens! I always love long wars :D and thanks for the kind words!
@@Xavier1822 A. why the toxicity? B. even if wardens have more pop, they are still low ranks vs all collie vets, so must learn before competing, so even if more wardens, still and issue C. where are you pulling this data of 3k more wardens than collies?
Bought the game yesterday, and after mindlessly running into enemies for about 1-2 hours, someone handed me a shovel and started explaining building fortifications and how the game works. Even though I spent the next 2-3 hours just standing there holding LMB, it was an awesome experience learning about these mechanics and having someone in-game to talk to and guide me through it. If that hadn't happened, I probably would have closed the game and might not have played it again, as it was frustrating to keep dying and not know what to do. So, a big thanks to all the seasoned players who take the time to help newbies like me learn the game, it makes the experience a lot more enjoyable for us!
Nice! Welcome to Foxhole! Sounds like we need to hook you up with the auto-clicker program most of us use when building :D You die a lot when you first start playing. Happens to everyone honestly. Feel free to DM me on discord if you need help learning anything else. We are building a mentor program to help all new players!
@@steinblitz1506 Just keep an eye on the dev patch notes - if they balance the Wardens so they have a chance of winning, give it another go - and find a regiment to teach you next time!
@@kinman3051 It's always good to have a strategy. Wikis and youtube videos can help you form it. But at the end you want to have fun, just play like you want to. I did a lot of logi.
i remember when i first started (been collie these 3 wars) there were players spamming "if you're new message me lets get you taught" now i feel like i never see these messages :(
Warden partisan here. I've been on break for a while due to work, and I just learned about the economy 5x resource changes. If I come back to my ambushes being worth a fraction of the resources I could have generated in the time it takes to set them up, I might just go on partisan strike
Good partisan work can still be done by taking out things like BT, SHT or tempest cannons in facilities. But if you are talking about partisan work on the roads then yea that does not do as much damage as it use to. It's more of just a thing to annoy the other side right now and make them waste time. I think partisans do need to go on strike. Facility husk did not help them at all.
@@vakhtangi24yeah colonial partisans basically secured the loss of deadlands for their team by cutting logi, but it was a concerted group effort on their part. I remember having to drive past mountains and hills swarming with infantry squads and heavy weapons emplacements that tore through our trucks like butter, but that was largely thanks to a concentrated group effort. A single or couple of partisans would not be able to do as much unless they are apart of a larger, well coordinated group, plain and simple.
Met a new player 3 days ago. Taught him bout the shooting mechanics that he was struggling with and we've made a squad so we can play together. I also find it funny that I've only been playing for 3 months and I'm already teaching new players what I know. XD
I for a long time didn't want to join a clan because I don't like hopping in VCs and doing things on other peoples time, so I decided to (forcefully) make my friends buy foxhole, I now have a squad of 4 goombas, but they are my goombas.
I take new players and show them how to throw grenades backwards if you see this Gentil I know your a collie but thank you for the trick during the inter war period
When I want to play more foxhole but i'm not very social, nor very logistically smart. So i just go to a frontline with a single rifle and clip. Will always choose warden...
I like it! Still can be fun! I love to just larp around on fronts. I don't worry about meta guns or anything I just have fun with everyone else on the fronts.
I took a breakwar this war, but every front is just all newbie and all the vets are doing logistics and facility stuff.. It must be biomass diff for sure.
@@RobertLovesGames When I joined wardens on sunday several teammates made my first experience in the game terrible by just doing pranks when all I wanted was to do some serious logistics work. My friend who bought me the game who had played longer litterally told me at this point it might not even be worth playing until I we are allowed to join collies again. The warden community really needs to fix themselves up. No wonder they are loosing when pranking new players is more important than getting jobs done.
MEANWHILE so many GREAT players just completely drove off the collies in 3 different hexes and changed the war in 30 hours. I want to thank everyone who has pushed through when everything looked bleak! It’s been tough but we’re going strong
I am part of the Halberd regiment on the Warden side. There are definitely times we will go on random ops and see how big of a difference we make. Typically we will see the front we are losing become lost much slower or completely pushed back towards the Collies. We are mainly backline logi that focuses on making BT whenever they tech. But we do handle quite a few ops. We have also gained quite a few new players this war which helps alot for running ops.
My take on the Warden Faction and this is my personal opinion. What the Warden Faction experiences is what i believe the Colonial Faction experienced last year. Wardens where winning most wars and Colonial veteran factions slowly stopped playing. Devman gradually buffed the Collie faction more to the point where the Spatha has the quality of a Warden Tank while retaining its cheap spam bonus. Suddenly, Wardens were facing double and triple vetted Spathas that could only be countered by the Noble Widow. This is when the Veteran clans on the Warden side decided to play less. Then a new update came out and the Warden Faction early war stage had all its enjoyment sucked out. Boma is still a fucking pain to deal with, the HAC was made obsolete due to the ATAC becoming a standard AC for the Colonials without a proper counter combined with the weather update just made most Veterans stop playing. Combine that with the atrocious non existent pop balance where the invasion mechanic can be abused to its maximum effect, then it will become a one sided game. Thing is, the Devs have no idea how to tweak the game, they do not listen to both sides of the game and they just follow their gut feeling. Using Vision as a guide to develop the game with an emphasis on the logistics and engineering, but then saying it is a sandbox game when players exploit glitches and bugs that leads to unfun situations that either gets resolved a few wars later or don't get resolved at all. I wouldn't say that the Warden Faction is on strike, it just lacks veteran players that are tired to see their planning, hard work and organization wiped away in a single night. And the new players don't know how to fight veteran players, so they get wiped away the moment they respawn.
That might be true. It certainly could be vets just frustrated with the current balance of the game. Hopefully we see some good changes from the devs with this next major update coming out soon. And hopefully we see some better balance between the two factions soon. Thanks for your thoughts on this!
@@RobertLovesGames Spatha buffs and getting a job are my reasons for striking. Feels pointless when devs just buff the side that loses wars consistently to achieve a 50-50 war record. Outrageous
@@tilleul6917 Because it isn't part of their vision, and also limitations in development. If they can't properly balance out 2 factions, what mess would it become if they create a third faction? The game in its current state is a chaotic mess with bugs and balance issues that existed long before the game was upgraded to the Beta version. The servers always struggled with lag and when they managed to resolve the major lag issues, they implemented new game features or new assets that would put the torch to their server hamster(s). The vision is also what leads to a majority of balance issues. One side (The Colonials) are the invading forces, so they get early war advantages with better rifles, grenades and direct heavy fire weapons and the other side (The Wardens) gets the most basis shit to delay the invaders to buy time for the mid and backlines to dig in and build defenses. As the war approaches the midwar stage, the Wardens gradually unlock the better tech and be able to start making counter pushes till the late war stage is reached and whatever side burns out first, loses the war. But with the invading side being the cheap spam faction, they have an advantage from start to the end of the war with the facilities that compliments their economy better and are able to just yeet hordes of tanks into the Warden lines. The only element that is missing that would give the Wardens an advantage, is the fear of death for those operating cheaper assets. Mainly the last major facility update, the Devs implemented chances based on how the veteran clans of one faction organizes and operates its facilities and tweaked the game that is benefiting their "doctrines" and "playstyles" the most. While the other side had a completely different approach on how to handle and operate their facilities, but got shanked completely due to the Devs only looking at one side. And then they also took away the Wardens late war stage advantage away by buffing up a cheap upgrade to their spam tank and you get a one sided story. In the last few wars, the only highlight i experienced as a Warden is when the 120 arty is unlocked. But even that has become nothing more then a wasted effort in the last 3 wars, because dun dun dun. The fucking Destroyer with its 100% accuracy (Frigate has the same accuracy) just makes the 120 arty far less efficient. I'm still pissed off that after buffing the GAC and HAC, they already made these early war armor obsolete by making the ATAC a basic platform and not one that needs to be upgraded on a pad and the only counter the Wardens have is using the FMG and kill the gunner of the ATAC. But the FMG is easily decrewed by Bomas, cause fuck its range. This game has become such a mess, that the Devs have no fucking clue what they are doing. They don't gradually tweak the assets, they just yeet stats by using random.org.
The collies enjoy not a single winter. Wardens have to deal with rivers freezing over and partisans able to circumvent entire defenses with this horrible game mechanic.
lol! I would guess that as well. And once Factorio drops it's over for all the logi players ha! We might have an unintentional logi strike on our hands!
With over 3k hours in planetside2, the only tool that game had for ever to fix pop balance was a LONG A$$ Q' for the main continent, while a 2nd continent (map) is going on with small fight where the skilled players accert dominance on casuals. To avoid this, people used to join whatever faction was the least full or use their NSO character that its a robot that join the least full faction at any point in time.
Dang! I think I only had like 200 hours. And apparently I left the game before it got a little better. I got bored of just spawn camping factions in their shielded spawn base. That sounds like a fairly good mechanic though! I don't think I was around for that. Thanks for sharing that!
Never forget the days when there was no continent locking or lattice, so underpopped factions would just bail on the main fights and go to another continent for easy certs
Last war was brutal to be a Warden for. Day one I logged in and saw that Collies were on population warning already. Then, yes it was mostly low ranks. I did what I could to train up new people at every opportunity, run public logi, and join a gun line whenever I could. I think my favorite moment was when I drove my logi truck past a bunch a new players standing beside idle 120mm guns who called out "Hey! You've got rank, these guns look important but we don't know what to do with them" so I lead an impromptu arty op.
The biggest advice i can give to frontline fighters don't aim directly at your enemy aim behind them you got 3x more chance of your bullets actually hitting them, same thing if someone is on the floor if you aim directly at them 7/8 of you bullets will go over they head where if you aim right infront of them ur bullet will hit the floor and finish them, i have been playing since war 3 or 4 i can't remember, don't get disheartened by learning things i been playing for a long time and i still don't know half the mechanics of some stuff
3:10 - just do a planetside2 and add a mercenary faction, which's players and clans can only consist of 'experienced' players, and will be on the side with the least amount of players online
@ planetside you can create a mercenary character after one of your characters reaches lvl 30(?) That mercenary character gets assigned on entering the game to the faction with the least amount of players online at the time of joining
I will say that I just watched one of your videos this last Thursday and bought the game the next day. I've played a few hours, joined the Wardens because I like their aesthetic. I only played a few hours after work while doing laundry for today. I got to say, while I died a few times, I was able to pick up really fast, and helped our faction push the front and I absolutely loved every second of it. I can't wait to finish my second shift tonight so I can log back on tonight and see the state of the war. Thanks for your content!
It seemed like a strike at the start, everywhere felt quieter than a normal war start and then about a week ago (ish) hordes of new guys turned up. Was pretty cool to see
Used to play foxhole. Sadly, way too many bad apples in the clans that will absolutely hoard things like tanks and artillery cannons for no reason. When a squad from a clan basically muscled their way in and intercepted an entire 120mm train shipment to fire only 1 cannon when the ad-hoc company me and others had formed had about 3-4. Basically ended with us trying to get 1 box of 120mm from these dudes only to get griefed with poison gas and have our cannons basically stolen from us. Reported it, but the toxic players falsely reported me so I ended up being the one to get action taken against me (despite basically little to no wrongdoing and no team killing). Love the game, and the vast majority of people including the clans are some of the coolest guys out there, but I lost motivation to continue playing really quick.
Sorry to hear that! Let me know if you ever come back and need help finding some positive groups to play with! I would say in my 3 years of playing that kind of stuff has happened less and less. I'm trying my best to make sure we have a positive community and that people shut that stuff down when they see it for themselves.
@@RobertLovesGames Ty for the encouragement, I can agree that this stuff tends to be uncommon. I'll probably get back to Foxhole at some point, just hope I don't end up in that situation again.
I'm taking a semi-break right now. I joined in war 116 (thanks robert), and I loved the euro truck simulator gameplay. This war I tried flatbeds and specially freighters and those are mega fun too!!. Until I got 100% burnout from public stockpile assembly times. It seems to be a clan only mechanic for the private stockpiles time in comparison. Right now I went back to truck and some flatbed logi in rime port (warden side, sorry robert hehe), where the time retrieving crates is bearable, but I'm not touching naval stuff unless that issue is looked, I even made a reddit post with a system based in rank for the public assembly times to still demotivate alts. I actually have a lot of fun in the tresury stealing an artillery piece in a random truck that nobody was even using, gathering whatever shells I manage to find in facilities around and serving as a spotter for a couple of hours with other 3 randoms. Super fun, we actually destroyed a bunker base and hurt a lot the armored cars advance (and commited a war crime shelling like 10 of our own, spotting is kinda hard). But yeah, this war seems kinda like another L and I look forward for 118
There are "quickpull" stockpiles that people do. You make a reservable stockpile but publish the code on a sign by the seaport/depot. Now you have a stockpile the public can use, but with reservable pull times. The only downside is that there are a lot of greedy small Warden regiments that will loot-goblin these "quickpull" stockpiles and put them into their own. When a big regiment in Callum's Keep published their private codes to try to save the city this past weekend with Collies knocking on the door, instead of all the crates making it to the public, two members (of MMM and JKL) raced each other to steal and transfer as many things out of it into their private stockpiles instead. :(
Good to take breaks from time to time! Glad you enjoyed flatbeds and freighters as well! I focus on those some wars as well because some wars I just love doing navy logi and midline logi task. Public pull times suck!! Devs seriously need to change it some way. I saw that post! I think it's a great idea honestly. Thanks for sharing all that! Treasury sounds like the place to be this war I need to head over there some time!
Ive joined the game at the end of 116 as a Warden and I quickly learned that this was the shortest war and we got completely fucked over. But still having hope I joined Wardens again on 117 and well, its terrible. Only tiny wins that quickly get overran by collies reclaiming the land. The game brings me no joy as a Warden at this moment, feels completely pointless to be on the front and I am lost in the backlines. I hope for changes soon because as it stands now I cant see myself coming back (I only racked up like 30 hours) I dont want to betray the Wardens because they have a cooler color and I dont want to join my sworn enemy of the Green
Oof! Not the best time for a new player to join honestly if you care about winning or losing. I'm sorry to hear that you feel this way and I definitely understand where you are coming from. Major update should be coming out towards in of October into November. So hopefully we will see some good changes from it! Might honestly be best for you to take a break until then? Give yourself some space so that way you can have a chance at coming back and enjoying the game when both sides are bit more even.
Try a regiment, one that educates rookies. Playing with people and having people help lift your morale can help ensure you have a reason to log in. And if they teach logistics, you will never feel lost on the backline! :D
Heya homie! I’m sorry to hear you feel this lost. If you’d like, I can send you an invite to my regiment. We’re focusing on building a positive environment for new players to learn the ropes of the game and overall have fun! It’s called Callahan’s Guard or CG for short. Theres no obligations for you to stay or any time requirements, but if you’re looking for a good experience to have, I would recommend it. Let me know if you’re feeling up to it.
I am a new player who joined late war 117. This war I was playing mainly logi and some frontline infantry in the west (Kings Cage & Stonecradle) during the first week of the war. I saw first hand the losses from the Bailie up to Fading Lights, and have been intermittently following the evolution of this front after that. To me, the reason why the Wardens failed so badly here was clear: it was because of the good play of CGC. The regiment was involved in all the major Collie victories up to Fading, and I suspect also up to Buckler. To be sure: up to the battle for Fading Lights, Warden defenses were lackluster. Most BB's were poorly supplied, and those which were, were sitting on all the bmats while defenses were lacking. This was however different at Fading, wherein the frontline defenses were strong, and CGC could not actually break through them. Due to my playing hours, I could see that the western front was basically desolate both from Collie and Warden players. What would usually happen, is that CGC players would start to congregate on the hex and once there was enough players, they would launch a coordinated assault on one of the Warden positions. This was followed by QRF on the Warden side, but this slow response often lead to the frontline positions being lost. Those frontline positions were usually the best supplied, and best built up, so the BB's immediately behind them would be lost in a quick fashion after that. What made this worse was the existence of multiple cliff-passes in Stonecradle. These cliff-passes would usually run along the roads from south to north. They were lightly guarded, because it was harder to get materials up to the cliffs. It was also difficult to defend them, because you couldn't shoot at enemies running along the cliff-side from down on the road. And positioning yourself alone on the cliff against a squad of CGC was suicide. Really, the Warden players never responded well when CGC was using these cliff-sides. Sure, they also used the water in Stonecradle to flank Warden positions, but these never became as serious as the cliff-side attacks. I suspect because it was easier for Warden players to respond because the waterside was accessible all over, while defending the cliff-side meant that you had to find point where you could climb up onto it. This use of cliff-side passes was also what lead to the first really bad loss on the Wardens side in Stonecradle: which was the loss of Fading Lights. As said before: the Wardens had much better defenses at Fading, and even after multiple frontal assaults on two different occasions (when the Collies got to Fading), the Collies could not break through. CGC captured Fading by outflanking it by using the riverside pass between Fading and the northern peninsula. They first captured the Trammel pool relic base with a sneak mammon rush, probably with a supply convoy right behind. I remember clearly that the regional chat was going crazy over the Collie squad moving through this pass. This was during an assault on Fading, so the hex was queued and no outside QRF could get in. Everybody was fighting on the south and western side of Fading, which had been going on for some hours. There was enough people to defend the northern flank, but nobody simply showed up... Maybe this was because there was many newbies like me on the Warden side? Maybe because the northern side required a slow repositioning which people didn't care for? I don't know. After Trammel, Fading was surrounded on three sides with a single road left for supply. This final road was soon cut, when CGC started to use (once again) the cliff-side pass on the north-eastern side of Fading. After this, Fading fell. tldr; the superior coordination of a Collie regiment against slow responding randoms lead to the loss of Kings Cage and Stonecradle in the early war of war 117.
Nice welcome to Foxhole! You should come share this story in my discord for the war recap video! This would be a great addition to have and a great story to tell! Thanks for taking the time to write all this up! Was a really fun read!
I just started playing a few weeks ago. I already am a warden loyalist 😂. The community has been so kind In showing me how to play the game and I appreciate that.
I meant to post this video last week when the Wardens were really losing but got sick unfortunately. Glad to see the Wardens are pushing back! Hopefully we can make this an actual war and longer than the last! Keep pushing Wardens and keep teaching new players how to play so they can turn into vets!
I have never played foxhole but occasionally i get recommended your videos and it's always facinating to hear about what's going on, its like im hearing wartime news reports from a place far far away. hearing about EVE Online news feels the same.
Thank you so much! Hope we can make more leaders on the battlefield that want to teach the new players how to do things! Good luck to you out there tonight!
They are probably (big sadge) because they are getting to feel what it's normally like for the typical Colonial war experience-with tons of newbies, and half of the veterans going to the Warden side (and staying). The colonials from war 101 to 111 won (TWICE) but kept fighting- heck for 4 wars in a row wardens won! Source: I was there during the whole thing! The Wardens have always 2:1 or 3:1 outpopulated colonials by tradition. And you are correct- Warden resolve from big regiments typically get shattered when they lose 1 key region after losing 2 wars in a row- and they rage quit when things dont go their way (normally) and then get toxic and blame newbies (Wardens aren't very newbie friendly and expect you to lock-step or get out). This is just the average Warden experience when they do an "extended break war" every single war- and then type "I didn't hear no bell" when they start turning the tide because the Colonials decided to go (play something else) because nobody is online to fight them.
without knowing faction statistics, it's quite surprising colonials are getting popular if it's the case, most of the time by joining a faction to get into war, it's mostly the warden faction that are at full capacity, from what i've mostly seen
From my experience it goes back and forth. Most new players I meet always say they want to join the side that is losing so they can help them out. Maybe that's why there are more new players on Warden side this time around?
Yes, CG member here. I'm glad you used the CG ad it's great having new players join us. Of course, we'd help and train them to become the next veteran to fill in the gaps.
i am a warden, i havent heard of this yet, i have only heard of the newbies in the warden faction that are causing for major issues, i have seen them myself aswell, quite a lot, its quite annoying and well, i am a huge fan of not buffing any side as war is meant to be unfair, there is no such thing as a fair war, you gotta make up weaknesses with your strengths is what i personally think. but in situations like these i feel like a buff is required, Afterall i dont think the collies like it either that every war will be short if this continues, we all want longer conflicts, and yes i get we pushed people out of callahan's keep and stone cradle, aswell as beat them in the moors, but that is only because of a major coordinated effort between two large arty clans and a couple others with armor, all coordinating on one point. but i personally think the vets being off is because of work, i expect everyone to get back on during the holiday seasons. especially the teen players which will then get back on.
After doing some research I found out that an influx of new players was probably the main cause as well. But someone needs to teach these new players how to play instead of getting frustrated that there are new players playing ya know? The Wardens have started pushing back as of this morning so maybe some new players are starting to learn a thing or two :D Thanks for your thoughts on this!
I've played this game since war 83 and have stayed with the Warden Faction since then. Even when we lose it's always still a fun experience for me, I guess as long as I am playing the game and fighting on, that's okay with me. Thanks for making this video
Great explanation! As a training focused regi, we have been thriving during this period because we’re willing to seize the opportunity to teach new players. It pays dividends in the end!
I'm a late 116 noob, joined as a Warden. Learned lots through that loss and I'm gonna keep playing as Warden till we win 💪 Also loving logi playing, it oddly reminds me of my bartending days. Lots of people need lots of different things - sometimes they don't even know they need something, but you know it would rock their world if they had it. How are you going to navigate around with the setup you have, to get people what they need ASAP?
Good evening, new warden here. Just spent this war on the backlines, and I had the misfortune of building right where a clan wanted to place a train, which put a damper on things (And made me consider dropping Foxhole for the war). The push into Northeast Callum's cape destroyed my facility, so I've moved to the front, which has been a much better experience and has given me the will to play the game again. Regards from Stonecradle. (One of the first to push there, that battle was pure chaos until we had a bunker down, and I loved every second of it)
Hello! Oh no! Sorry to hear that! Hopefully they were cool about it? Building bases is hard when you first start out especially if you are doing it alone.
@@RobertLovesGames Just felt like they were trying to evict me, but at least they didn't destroy anything before the Collie push. (I'll be working on my building in the coming wars) Thank you for the kind words!
PLANETSIDE 2!! As an avid Planetside 2 player, for us its the Nanite system "volunteers" and people actively realising the unbalanced amounts and siwtching to alt accounts.
The chatter I hear is that next major update a lot of clan people will be coming back, like you said. Also, I think a big part of the surge in popularity is that ‘foxhole: the game with massive wars that never end’ video that is almost at a million views, and funnily enough, that VR video you made which hit quarter a million recently. 🎉
as a solo warden the last war was a pain for my as i did allot of loggie and i only went to the linn of mercy and i saw allot of new people the got people that guide them but allot of new players just didnt care about the things the took then to get shot straight away and drop everything on the front, i tried to explain it but it just didnt work and i always try to help but this was for my the lowest point of the game so i decided to quit the game again for a while and see what will come in the future and dont get my wrond i like the grind and talk to people but the way that war went i dont know if i can enjoy that
Takes a while for new players to learn the value of everything. And some just don't care to learn unfortunately ha. I'm glad to hear that you tried to teach them though! Thanks for doing that! I think it would be good idea to take a break from the game and then possible come back for the major update. Normally everyone comes back for the major update so wars a lot more serious and fun then.
@@RobertLovesGames and ofcourse i get that when i started with 3 mates we got allot of help from the community aswell so its only normal to do it the otherway around but what i think maybe could work for the new warden players to start with logi to get to know how much work it is and when you find out and know the basics of that move to the front to learn from people there yes i played alone but when i saw people i joined them as more knowledge is better 1 guy walking to his death. and even i still learn new things every day its normal but a little bit of effort can do allot. and its a well needed break after 55 hours in a week we tried but it just wasnt enough. and keep up the vids love them
As a returning collie main, I saw first hand this war many new warden AND collie players on the front. Very fun but also frustrating. Cool to see I’m not the only one that notice it but like the wardens clashing back now!
Blunt truth: Collies are full of more fluent english speaking people so the team is coordinated in things they do even over in game voice chat, Wardens is full of chinese, SE asians (especially Philippino) and French, the Wardens is very fragmented into national factions that dont interact with one another, and almost treat other nations peoples like they're collies and that nation of people their apart of is the only ones on that team. Joys of a completely international, mixed up game.
Ouch. I can see that being a huge issue, any time in history a coalition army has fought an army that has much easier communications we've seen that happen.
As A Brit that has lead squads in games, I can confirm we do indeed rally people. We get people to slow down more. Us Brits have tea. Calms the nerves. Yanks have coffee. Makes you jumpy.
Yea I heard reports about that from a few people. Hope the new Warden players have some good teachers out there helping them learn the game right now! Looks like they are doing a good job of pushing the Colonials back finally.
Being fairly experienced with many wars under my belt and mainly being a warden main, the thing i have noticed is an extreme lack of building, all our supply lines are usually completely barren of defenses, no one building up what we take or repairing what we have. Where as I have noticed the colys are always extremely on the ball with keeping things repaired and built up. Warden supply lines are essentially just unprotected roads, i find myself and a few other veterans desperately trying to fend of coordinated coly partisans while a whole bunch of new players carry 12 mags of 9mm into a trench and die to a nade. From my understanding we just haven't anyone building, which saps our experienced players from the front to constantly QRF.
Yea I've heard similar reports about lack of building and low supplies. Wardens have a lot of new players right now. We need some experienced builders to help teach them how to frontline build.
As a brand new player who just loves the color green, it makes me kinda sad to hear about the lull on the Warden side and game population in general. However! The game is still super fun to play! I got rekt by some warden partisans on my first couple of logi runs, so they are still putting up a good fight and making it interesting. I'm going to use this "downtime" to learn the game so when the vets come back I can make them fight harder than they ever have. For the Colonials!
Glad you are having fun! Long as people are having fun at the end of the day that's all that matters. I still log on each time and just think of what fun thing or role I want to play and do it. And that's the spirit! I love it! Thanks for sharing that!
Welcome to the legion! Pro tip from a veteran logi player, whatever you are doing, be it moving vehicles or critically important supplies to a front, its never worth to take the risk of going out without a radio. You will never be so short of time that looking for a radio will make a difference. Even if you don't find one when you start your trip, with so many bunker bases on the road, you are bound to find one at least on the way. It's not perfect, but with that + situational awareness + looking at the chat, you will have much greater success doing logi runs. Keep those supplies moving to the front!
I joined foxhole like a week ago and it's been a blast so far. One of my friends got me and another friend into the game. It's been fun so far, we seemingly joined at just the right time to witness the warden comeback
3:30 CG made it! Thanks for featuring our ad, stop by any time for a temperature check. We love the new players and foxhole community and strive to give them a good home. :)
There is a kernel of truth to this rumor: there are Warden builders that have been earnestly building momentum to create a builder's / engineer's strike. It stems due to because of how awful building was, and the straw that broke the camel's back was the awful dev changes to early components (see: Heavy Oil on Stationary Harvesters) which have eliminated the Warden meta of early concrete, which is about the only way to stop the huge Collie early war advantage due to their infantry kit. So: No early concrete plus many Warden regiments still vacationing on Collie side is why 116 and 117 both look bleak to Wardens in early war. Some degree of that meta is what Wardens are expecting: "Collies always making early gains, can Wardens stem the tide and make a comeback" but now there's even less meta tools available for Wardens.
Really? I haven't heard about this side of it yet! This all makes a lot of sense though with how these war starts have been going. Thanks for sharing that!
It's funny to me, because as a builder on the Colonial side I feel like my input isn't listened to when I say the terrain on the Colonial side of the map sucks because of all the minor elevation changes and TREES that make it difficult to make effective bunkers. Now that the Warden builders are striking, maybe some of the gripes I have with the building system will be fixed...maybe.
I was a new warden logi player for all of about 3 days before the no-life 'vet' drama pissed in the pot and put me off the game entirely. They do not like people playing in their pool, and will bully and bitch about how important they (as an individual) are and that you should piss off. So I did. Never did care to see how that war ended. It's so nice to know you're on a 30-hour binge and god's gift to whatever you're doing with that scrap. You can keep being a hero while I go play a game with a better community.
I will also say that a migration of warden regis going colie without the opposite happening. I know CL and Umbra are two large ones that have stay collie for these last two wars. Their future plans are unkown of course but it might not help. I will also mention that the colonial side has seen the same uptick in new players joining all the time, queueing many critical fronts making a few vets rage quit due to it. Theres a lot of small reasons making this rather large river it seems to me.
Yea that does not help. Never good when large clans switch sides honestly. Normally it's just for one war but two is kinda bad. And yes Colonials have had new players as well. I've just heard about new players more from the Warden side recently. I wish vets would rage less against new players. We need to teach new players the game for it to be sustainable.
I experienced it in first person. My regiment was loyal warden from war 80 to war 112 we change sides because the regi was kinda dying no motivation to play the game. The leader said "we are playing collie next war" everyone got revived.
Honestly I feel the new player issue. I was doing front line logi and four players hopped on my truck asking me what to do. I told them I recommend getting a rifle and fighting to defend the front. However I explained what I was doing. Love your videos
I think theres 1 major way devs could help logistics in terms of farming resources. Buildable train stations where it either auto dumps or manual ly dumps materials into resource containers or fuel tanks on trains. This could have its own internal storage with a location for containers so both trucks and small trains could fill it up for smoother logistics. Unloading could be solved by new train pieces that can tilt and unload its storage into new type of storage holder that could be accessed by small trains. I think this would help reduce the exstream repetitive feeling of packaging and loading/offloading containers all day
It does seem the way on paper but as someone who has played both sides a lot I prefer the Warden emplaced 120s. It just takes a lot more prep work of course but I feel like if you can create a strong foundation for them they are hard to break through.
@@RobertLovesGamesOur regi is historically warden but we preferred the push 120mm when we capture one. Now were collie we still prefer the push 120mm. Requires less manpower, can be easily moved forward and backwards together with how the frontline moves. It has a wider spread yes but you move with the front and requires less manpower. Its job is not to destroy buildings but soften defenses for tremolas, tanks, 30mm, or fire to finish the job.
@@shoelugsyou also got to take in to account the fact no warden 120 can be stolen once it’s down. It’s also significantly more tanky and has longer range than the wheelchair. Both have their strengths but if we’re going on what’s stronger it’s all dependent on where you need them. On defense the lairat is much stronger than the krodikes as it will 90% of the time be in range of the push120 cause of the 50m difference. If the front isn’t moving at all the more accurate longer range of the emplaced is better. the push 120 generally needs more defenses since it can be easily killed by 1 guy with flask/sticky. yes jt requires less to move but if youre gojng to be moving alot you need people building around the guns consistantly or they are all dead
@@RobertLovesGamesbeing able to move and arty and is more durable than Wardens arty if not placed on bunkers is a win win situation I was warden and now for 2 warsI m currently colli because of the OP stuffs here not even kidding
As a Collie, I’ve noticed an enormous influx of new players on the front for us as well, on some fronts it can even go up to like 3:1 Just add them to a squad and teach them the ropes, the sooner they learn the more fun everyone has.
I’m a new player I joined 4 days ago. And I can’t wait for the major update, where hopefully it will be around the start of war 118. Frontlines will be stacked by then
Nice! Welcome to Foxhole! I'm guessing they will have one more war before the major update. If it was going to be war 118 I think they would have announced it by now. But I could be wrong! Also if you ever have any questions about the game feel free to DM me on discord!
That certainly seems to track, my first war was 116 and now I have 160 hours in the game, love the game, but at every turn the collies have more munitions, bodies, vehicles, artillery, but most critically of all, the coordination to use all of those things to their best effect it seems. It’s definitely frustrating to jump into a new game and love it only to find a collie running around with 10-15 grenades on him and just get smoked by it constantly early game, then in the later game we are constantly getting shelled all over the front, and switched between every active front I could find the past few nights because I was tired of literally fighting hours long losing battles for my hundreds of hours already, and every front I spawned into a desperate out gunned and out manned situation. I’m not quitting, I just want some help from Regiments
Yep Colonials are just dominating right now. And more people will be back for the major update is my guess which should be out in October/November. Now is a good time to learn some new roles or how things work in the backline. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this!
6:40 Yeah so... maybe change the title of your video lol if someone doesn't want to watch it but still sees the title, they'll get the wrong idea. Maybe change it to "Is the Warden faction on Strike?"
Just too much nerf the last year so people are done, especially when the devs are clearly telling you "stop winning or you are going to fight with rocks and sticks" people just stop trying. It's like if everytime you manage to beat a Dark Soul's boss the devs nerf your gear, it’s neither rewarding nor engaging.
Good video, as a NA warden during 115 it became clear that there was a huge population issue for NA timezones and frankly it was extremely demoralizing logging on every night to see us getting pushed back due to having no pop. It was not enjoyable for us in NA but also for those who pushed during EU times and saw all their gains being reset(one of the reasons why alot of people aren't playing in my opinion). It is unfortunate but I hope pop will level itself out again because foxhole scratches an itch I have that no other game does.
Thank you! Wardens have always had an issue with NA timezones honestly. Wardens tend to be more EU players. I wish we could balance this out more in some way.
@@RobertLovesGames Timezone parity will never happen because Americans associate the Colonial uniform with the uniform their ancestors wore in WW2 and Korea vs. European WW1 vibe the wardens have. The choice is easy for most new NA players. It’s crazy, but aesthetics are literally the main driving factor behind timezone pop issues.
@@RobertLovesGames when you look at the list of L.O.G.I.'s demands, and then the big patch that happened right afterwards, a lot of it was addressed, just it was under the radar, and in typical Foxhole Dev fashion, they immediately did something players disliked to overshadow everything they liked about the patch (can't remember what it was, but I do remember trying to defend the devs to my friends and finding it quite difficult to do so in the end.)
Yes and no. The devs have designed the game around working together. So yes you get more done in clans with logistics and base building but you can do them by yourself it just takes a lot of time. Feel free to DM me on discord and I'd be happy to answer any more questions about the game for you!
@@RobertLovesGames Thank you. I've been watching a lot of your videos. It's interesting to see how players organize themselves and try to put together a system where a handful of players are supporting the frontlines where most of the action is happening.
Oh man, I have been actively playing the counter offensive in Callums/Stonecradle and many people look at my rank to lead them, but I just do what's neccesary for the front and sometimes lead a bunch of builders to organize a strong defence. I teach them to make organized bases, so that everything can arrive smoothly for logi, trucks can park without blocking anything and armor can feel safe around the base. This is just one of the things I like to do. I'm happy that many new players trying to Warden faction. Welcome!
As an old Planetside hand this brought back a memory. Back in the first year or two of Planetside 1 the major VS clans on my server all agreed boycott fighting on one of our home continents since we had been stuck there defending it for a solid week as the other two factions refused to go anywhere else. It was INCREDIBLY annoying and we supported the boycott.
Pop balance isnt the issue, its the competitive mindset. If all you care about is winning and you get emotional about it, then you will inevitably have strong feelings about losing. Player entitlement is also a problem, so many have such inflated views of themselves and their impact on the war. You can see this on the subreddit or discord where a player you've never heard of writes a 10000 word essay on why they are leaving the game and why everyone should care. It would be funny if this sentiment wasn't actively killing the game and dividing the community.
True! I talked about that in a video not to long ago when talking about low morale in Foxhole. And yes I agree! There are some big egos in Foxhole which I don't really care for most of the time. I hope to be a change in the Foxhole community that focuses more on positive leaders and interactions.
I'd say the Warden Moral is coming back, I'm a Collie and I was helping with the push up to Callums Cape and when I got home from work yesterday we were in a some heavy fighting for Stonecradle. I'd like to see the Wardens make a nice come back to draw out the war kinda as they did there. As a long-time player it sucks to see very short wars.
I think it's as well! I meant to post this video when the Wardens were losing last week but got sick. Glad to see they are gaining some territory back. And agreed I hate seeing short wars as well.
I recently got back into the game (joined at the end of 116 and currently going with 117) My biggest issue at the moment (aside from the low morale) is that me and some friends want to try some other things in Foxhole (like naval and stuff) but the starting/training island hasn't been updated with that type of stuff. I know that I could just get the resources and make them myself in the actual war but then it just sometimes feels like a waste of materials and time. Especially considering a bunch of my friends Im playing with have never played before so Im using my limited knowledge to train them while also trying to learn the new stuff at the same time. It'd just be nice to get an updated island (where everything isn't so spread apart) with some of the new stuff. Either way the pushing back into Stonecradle as really helped the morale lol.
Hi, im a solo warden (+ a friend of mine sometimes) in my first war... +80hours already, at first it looked bad but these 2 last days we are taking back quite some ground! Not all hope is lost!
I heard Warden vets want to try out the OP Spatha on the collie side, but because 116 was so short that Spatha's weren't teched they stuck around for another war. Any truth to that?
I heard that as well. It really sucks because when big clans do switch sides it's normally just for one war. Really sucks when they do it for more than one war because then we get situations like this. Does not happen often though which is nice ha.
Yes as a warden since war 90 my regi went collie to try spatha and enjoy the jeep of collies thats 3 tiers better then drummond. An rpg attachment compared to a 7.92 is not even worth comparing
I also feel part of the reason 116 was so short and underpopped was because it lined up almost perfectly with the start of semester for many people, including me.
The fact that one side "Strikes" because they are losing is honestly just a testament to the worst parts of Foxhole, the "must win!" attitude, meta-gaming, alts, toxic clans. It's a game guys, going on "strike" in a game because you are losing is actually embarrassing. Crying about it to new players will keep the new players away from your side. If you get bored of the game or burnt out, just quit or take a break, having this attitude towards the game and developer will just shorten the game's lifespan. "Fix this thing I don't like or ELSE!" - anyone any time the devs add something controversial if we carry on like this. I think the ending comment sums it up, "get out and have some fun in the game", that's what it's all about in the end.
The problem is an imbalance of in game equipment and vehicles. Foxhole uses an asymmetric tech system meaning the two factions get access to different equipment. This leads to an issue where balancing is poorly done, so a faction getting fed up with shit balancing that never gets fixed is fairly justified.
Agreed! Teach those new players how to play and one day they will be the vets! Lets create a positive community that loves having new players on the battlefield!
Yeah, this is accurate. Public supplies are a great indicator of activity and in places like Callums, supply warehouses are barren. The devs need to do something to about population imbalance. Longer queue times don't mean anything when those extra players waiting in queue can just go to other fronts and totally overwhelm the few guys we have there. I'm not asking for total parity, but this is ridiculous. The main issue is definitely the experience gap though. Two days ago myself, another captain, and a colonel were the highest ranks out of a battlefield with like 50 Wardens.
True! Public supplies are a good indicator. And yes there needs to be something that addresses the imbalance rather than just ques. And when it comes to experience gaps I prefer just taking the time to teach players what to do. I don't think Foxhole is sustainable if we just complain about having low ranks on fronts. We need to try our best to teach new players in a nice positive way what should be done. We need better leaders in game.
Ive been fighting in deadlands and Callahan's passage in war 116 and 117 to me it feels like that the collies have way more logi players in those hexes in recent wars.
The developers better take care of the problem of theft within the faction. Yesterday, my unit discovered a huge amount of valuable resources missing from our factory. It was done by people playing for our faction. We can't do anything about it, because they won't talk to us. Such problems are not isolated and are faced by people who lose motivation to play because of it.
@@tady1407what was their name, and were they Russian? Might be the people my regiment is dealing with (we’re also 40K, but don’t steal and have been having problems with people stealing stuff right out of our factories in Basin)
When I was warden thieves were either Chinee or Russian. The Russians are sheepish when caught and return the stuff, the Chinee triple down on hostility
The strike on the warden side is hitting hard, last night I was fighting at stonecradle, Buckler sound. Warden logistics is refusing to supply our city and resorting to team killing anyone who disobeys the order. We still get some supplies every so often from some trucks sneaking in but it’s killing us slowly
Warden player here; There were a lot of issues at the start of this war, but we've started a real push back, and we absolutely can mount a comeback. There is certainly no general Warden strike, though until recently, there was quite a lot of griping, both amongst & between Warden Regis & players, and about game balance in general. Regardless, the new players are learning fast, and while the tide may or may not be turning, I don't think we're going to be in for a war as short as 116 was. For Caoiva! For the Empire! For Callahan!
You won't mess it up for anyone! If you need help learning or want a positive environment to start out with DM me on discord and we can help you learn! We are starting a sort of mentorship program that helps new players.
As a new player to War 117, and as a trainee for the Warden group, HCNS, without disclosing anything that should remain secret as war 117 is indeed still ongoing, HCNS seem to be having a better time than usual this war, due to a influx of new players, including myself. And considering this is the first time I have even heard of a Warden strike, I too, believe that to be a false rumor or at the very least to be WAY less of a problem than some might think. War 117 has indeed had a bit of a Colonial dominated push, but it seems like we are entering something of a stand-still now maybe. So we'll see where this goes. Here is hoping the war lasts at least a couple extra weeks.
Welcome to Foxhole! Glad to hear things are going well for HCNS! They are a great group! Wardens have started pushing back which is great to see. Thanks for the update on HCNS! Glad things are going well over there :D
A lot of veteran players have left due to the WOT style mid and late war the game has become with the facility changes mainly the production queues on player facilities 3D printing tanks.
Robert you are definitely right, please come to Clastria and talk to 420st. We had 4 Warden vet regis try to hold treasury against colonial factions and the story then and now is insane and is the reason behind multiple warden vets taking a break. I will personally take you there. Wanna meet you a again man.
I will try to make my way over there :D You or some of your people should come share your stories in my discord so I can add it to the war 117 recap video once the war is over!
@@RobertLovesGamesmaybe for the war 117 recap video you'll actually talk to more clans than just 420st? Because you gave them a lot more credit than most in the faction agree they deserve in that video
Warden in Callahans passage and honestly this was the first time I’ve heard of this as far as the strike. But yes tons of new players but I don’t see it as a bad thing just help them out rather then get frustrated at lack of efficiency or knowledge.
Some builders have told me that they are going on strike if major changes are not made soon. And trust me I wish more people had the mentality of just helping new players instead of getting frustrated with them on the front or frustrated that so many might be on a front.
I played Foxhole during the comeback war possibly in the 90's area I forgot. As a relatively still technically new player to the warden faction I was new and stuck in a bridge zone(Again I forgot the locations) when I was new some vets let me to join their crew, it was a rough one because the colonials were pressuring us and I was on the artillery team as I loaded and fired the cannons. The vets didn't mind I was new we were more focused on preventing the colonials from rebuilding the bridge which is what I helped by either loading or manning the cannons to push our enemy back and weaken them. Whenever a serious war happens and if it's desperate new players will be given quick introductions by vets and be quickly put into positions, in combat they'll learn what they need to do overtime. Like with me as a artillery loadeder I learned very quickly in the heat of the situation. The vets are like a mother wolf who will nurse the new recruit and teach them what they have to do before they grow as a adult wolf. While the mother tries to fend off the den and feed for themselves So during the comeback war I think the wardens focused all their attempts to help teach newbies on the warden side quickly as possible to give themselves some time to properly prepare once enough room and logistic were made. And during this time we're all exhausted and burned out from so much constant battles both new and old no difference. That's what I view the whole vet and newbie thing it's more of a learning experience like how animals do. They learn fight and repeat.
as a warden i do feel like from the last 2 wars we lost just brought morale down a ton at the start of this war. the start of this war was so rough and definitely think we had a population imbalance i was for sure thinking this was gonna be a quick loss again but wardens have actually began to pushed back so far. if wardens lose this war imma be very sad.
A big issue we had at the beginning was the lack of anti tank. We were left with just the foebreaker as the only AT for the longest time. We would be stuck fighting tankettes without any adequate at. For the most part I think the Wardens have been doing well. I joined at the tail end of war 115 day 28 or 29 i think it was. I think this war we did have vets go over to the collies as a break war from the disaster that last war was

Not only as a warden, at least my regi [UBGE] are getting a big influx of new players, great time to train them.
i remember when i first started (been collie these 3 wars) there were players spamming "if you're new message me lets get you taught" now i feel like i never see these messages :(

Facility husk did not help them at all.
partisans cutting logi delivery was a huge pain in a previous war for wardens
@@RobertLovesGamesI kinda wish they just made logistics more enjoyable, with like minigames and stuff, rather than make it super easy
Didn’t they already revert the component change a few wars ago?

@patrickismumbojumbo8645 it's very fun when you teach new players how to use arty and logi they'd spam the entire battlefield
You’ve gained some traction back but we are gonna win again. Colonizing is fun.
Outrageous
I don't understand why they don't create a third faction, like in planetside 2.
I've been trapped myself in Conveyer Belts 2 aka satisfactory. I suspect a lot of logi players are.
lol! I would guess that as well. And once Factorio drops it's over for all the logi players ha! We might have an unintentional logi strike on our hands!
@@RobertLovesGames Obviously after we realize this, we demand that they add conveyor belts to facilities.
That actually makes sense.
Mfw 117 currently looks like Wardens will make this war long, not short ;)
They are making some good pushes this morning! I hope that they are able to push us back to make this a longer war :D
Heeey CG member here, I’m glad you found our Reddit post and using the picture lol. Thanks for covering this matter! And have a great day!
Woo! I love me some good propaganda/recruitment art :D And no problem! You have a great day as well!
3:10 - just do a planetside2 and add a mercenary faction, which's players and clans can only consist of 'experienced' players, and will be on the side with the least amount of players online
How would that work? A hard cap on the Faction? How do you decide who is experienced?
@ planetside you can create a mercenary character after one of your characters reaches lvl 30(?)
That mercenary character gets assigned on entering the game to the faction with the least amount of players online at the time of joining
Real army hours
I can recomend you try to use privet stocks as publick. Just create one and place sign neare seaport whith password. U see how easy its can be stocked
@@bretonec7057 There is one in howl county, It is consistently less stocked compared to the public one
Relax, you haven't seen a good war yet. I just hope devs buff wardens a bit and rework the construction part of this game bc it's bad
Heya homie! I’m sorry to hear you feel this lost. If you’d like, I can send you an invite to my regiment. We’re focusing on building a positive environment for new players to learn the ropes of the game and overall have fun! It’s called Callahan’s Guard or CG for short.
Great analysis
Nice welcome to Foxhole! You should come share this story in my discord for the war recap video! This would be a great addition to have and a great story to tell!
Thanks for taking the time to write all this up! Was a really fun read!
I just started playing a few weeks ago. I already am a warden loyalist 😂. The community has been so kind In showing me how to play the game and I appreciate that.

Wardens have been having majorly low moral with there larger regiments quiting as soon as things start to go down hill
Yea that sucks when that happens. I know sometimes regiments will quit if there main lane or base goes down which does not help at all.
@@_T_T_L Lol, collies are not outnumbered 2:1, that is just a false statement.
@@Krushnow MAYBE NOT NOW- but if you were there fighting in the past like 30 wars- then you refuting that would just be intellectually dishonest lol
without knowing faction statistics, it's quite surprising colonials are getting popular if it's the case, most of the time by joining a faction to get into war, it's mostly the warden faction that are at full capacity, from what i've mostly seen

No problem! Hope to see you back out on the battlefield one day!
i am a warden, i havent heard of this yet, i have only heard of the newbies in the warden faction that are causing for major issues, i have seen them myself aswell, quite a lot, its quite annoying and well, i am a huge fan of not buffing any side as war is meant to be unfair, there is no such thing as a fair war, you gotta make up weaknesses with your strengths is what i personally think.
but in situations like these i feel like a buff is required, Afterall i dont think the collies like it either that every war will be short if this continues, we all want longer conflicts, and yes i get we pushed people out of callahan's keep and stone cradle, aswell as beat them in the moors, but that is only because of a major coordinated effort between two large arty clans and a couple others with armor, all coordinating on one point.
but i personally think the vets being off is because of work, i expect everyone to get back on during the holiday seasons. especially the teen players which will then get back on.
After doing some research I found out that an influx of new players was probably the main cause as well. But someone needs to teach these new players how to play instead of getting frustrated that there are new players playing ya know?
The Wardens have started pushing back as of this morning so maybe some new players are starting to learn a thing or two :D
Thanks for your thoughts on this!
I've played this game since war 83 and have stayed with the Warden Faction since then. Even when we lose it's always still a fun experience for me, I guess as long as I am playing the game and fighting on, that's okay with me. Thanks for making this video
Glad to hear that! I always have a good time winning or losing as well. I agree with you completely. And no problem!
Great explanation! As a training focused regi, we have been thriving during this period because we’re willing to seize the opportunity to teach new players. It pays dividends in the end!
Thank you! And I love it! Teach those new players everything!
I'm a late 116 noob, joined as a Warden. Learned lots through that loss and I'm gonna keep playing as Warden till we win 💪
Also loving logi playing, it oddly reminds me of my bartending days. Lots of people need lots of different things - sometimes they don't even know they need something, but you know it would rock their world if they had it. How are you going to navigate around with the setup you have, to get people what they need ASAP?
Welcome to Foxhole! Love the spirit!
That's a great way to put logi! I love it! Thanks for sharing that!

Major update normally brings everyone back. Should be nice big battle. And yea I think that one video has brought in a lot of people as well!
as a solo warden the last war was a pain for my as i did allot of loggie and i only went to the linn of mercy and i saw allot of new people the got people that guide them but allot of new players just didnt care about the things the took then to get shot straight away and drop everything on the front, i tried to explain it but it just didnt work and i always try to help but this was for my the lowest point of the game so i decided to quit the game again for a while and see what will come in the future and dont get my wrond i like the grind and talk to people but the way that war went i dont know if i can enjoy that
Takes a while for new players to learn the value of everything.
There are a lot of new players which is awesome! And yes it looks as though Wardens are pushing back which is great to see!
Interesting thought! I never thought of it that way! That could be a big difference though! Thanks for sharing that!
The irony of the statement. Is it’s not. Both sides are filled with Chinese. It’s based on what time you get on
Makes you jumpy.
great video robert keep up the good work!!
Thank you!! I will do my best o7
On warden side sundial coalition is on break so lots of people not playing
@@estebangrafeuille9111 Thank you so much for the advice! I will definitely take it and be sure to use a radio on my logi runs.

Tell more about collie infantry kit pls
@@jtb301 see day 1 collie gains any war
Poliu, waifu, and other smaller warden regiments can be seen in collies
@@RobertLovesGamesI think both factions are seeing plenty of new players, it’s just more noticeable on the warden side because vets aren’t around
We're not sure what we're doing either! But Warden culture and BS was the main sticking point and decision for switching.
Honestly I feel the new player issue. I was doing front line logi and four players hopped on my truck asking me what to do. I told them I recommend getting a rifle and fighting to defend the front. However I explained what I was doing. Love your videos
Great work teaching new players about the game! Love it! And thank you for the kind words :D
I don’t check FOD or WUH for THREE DAYS
lol! Things are getting crazy!
I'm literally taking a shit while listening your Videos Robert it's so soothing to hear your voice.
lol! Best compliment this week!
Robert, did you really use a Discord snip from 2022 to reference people on break? XD I too shall take a couple year break.
lol! I didn't look at the date when I did the discord search function!
I think this would help reduce the exstream repetitive feeling of packaging and loading/offloading containers all day
That would be awesome! I would love that! Thanks for sharing your ideas about this :D
My biggest gripe is that Warden emplaced 120 is huge disadvantage compared to the Colonial wheelchairs.
Save for the guaranteed early tech for the wardens, due to the difference in teaching iron and alu
As a Collie, I’ve noticed an enormous influx of new players on the front for us as well, on some fronts it can even go up to like 3:1
Just add them to a squad and teach them the ropes, the sooner they learn the more fun everyone has.
Ha you might be right!
I think the wardens just have low moral.
That's certainly a factor. I made a video on that a while back. Morale is just as much of a resource as anything else in the game for sure.
Nooooo Devs please listen.
Do they ever? lol...Sometimes, sometimes they do but it's very rare ha.
I'm intrigued by this game, but really reluctant to get into it. It seems like the clans control a lot of the logistics and base building.
What's with the camo on the tank at 2:28 ?
That tank was upgraded through facility! Vetted tank!
Someone spent 15 tanks worth of resources on a single tank to get like 6% more health
Welcome!
Who's on strike now Robert?
As an old Planetside hand this brought back a memory.
Back in the first year or two of Planetside 1 the major VS clans on my server all agreed boycott fighting on one of our home continents since we had been stuck there defending it for a solid week as the other two factions refused to go anywhere else. It was INCREDIBLY annoying and we supported the boycott.
That's an awesome story! I love that. I never really hear stories like that about Planetside. Maybe I need to seek some of those stories out.
First. Caught it 30 seconds after drop lol
Woo! Nicely done!
Someone get this man a medal
Either way the pushing back into Stonecradle as really helped the morale lol.
.... huh?
What is this video supoust to say?
It's a research piece. You can come to your own conclusions after being presented with the information.
Hi, im a solo warden (+ a friend of mine sometimes) in my first war... +80hours already, at first it looked bad but these 2 last days we are taking back quite some ground! Not all hope is lost!
I did buy it in 116 but barely played (only tutorial) because i was at the time changing my old pc that could barely play it to a proper one
Yea! The Wardens are doing a really good job pushing back! Hope that trend can continue through the week! Keep up the good fight!
@@RobertLovesGames never doubted :) 240h first war lmao
Yup
@@shoelugs That jeep is pretty slick! I helped fight off a partisan regiment that cut logi in endless. Three jeeps with rpgs, was that you?
I wish wardens had a tremola launcher
Agreed! Just have fun with Foxhole! If you larp around and chat with people this game can be so much fun!
The problem is an imbalance of in game equipment and vehicles. Foxhole uses an asymmetric tech system meaning the two factions get access to different equipment. This leads to an issue where balancing is poorly done, so a faction getting fed up with shit balancing that never gets fixed is fairly justified.
Civilians are everywhere, but there's some potential gems amongst them.
We need better leaders in game.
actual clickbait. Still love the video though
TH-cam algorithm has me lol. Glad you still liked it :D
Ive been fighting in deadlands and Callahan's passage in war 116 and 117 to me it feels like that the collies have way more logi players in those hexes in recent wars.
I've heard reports of a lot of new players joining the big Colonial logi groups. That could be one of the reasons.
Was it [ASEAN]?
@@valberline nope, 40K regiment
@@tady1407what was their name, and were they Russian? Might be the people my regiment is dealing with (we’re also 40K, but don’t steal and have been having problems with people stealing stuff right out of our factories in Basin)

Sorry to hear that! Make sure if they constantly do it to record screenshots and report them if you can.

That makes sense. Hopefully we see some good changes with the next major update!
Robert you are definitely right, please come to Clastria and talk to 420st.
While the mother tries to fend off the den and feed for themselves
So during the comeback war I think the wardens focused all their attempts to help teach newbies on the warden side quickly as possible to give themselves some time to properly prepare once enough room and logistic were made.
I think this war we did have vets go over to the collies as a break war from the disaster that last war was
True! Maybe we will see some changes in the next major update! Maybe some more tank options!
