Citizen make great titanium watches. I have one, I use it very often at the office, it has no scratches, very happy with it. This one looks cool, I like its futuristic design. Great review, Bob!
Pulled the plug on it.... tried it on and i got such a great deal That I couldn’t pass it on! I currently have a Chandler citizen and this new watch is a quarter of the weight! I absolutely love it! Thank you for the video
I’m glad on the titanium watches they started making pins all the way through throughout the bracelet. Had an older titanium perpetual calendar citizen watch that an inner pin on the bracelet wore out and was not replaceable. Had to have a new bracelet and the model was discontinued.
I got this watch off ebay and it didn't fit. I contacted Citizen and again with impressive customer service they sent me 2 links "no Charge". I absolutely love this watch... Its so light you forget its there... I never take it off. The lume is great too. It is my second eco-drive titanium watch. I have many watches which are now going to be "gifted"... lucky nephews....
I've never had to deal with Citizen customer service but I've heard they're excellent. It is so comfortable with it's lightweight titanium case and bracelet. I actually have 2 twin nephews that have already picked up a couple watches from me. It's fun to share the hobby with family. Thanks and enjoy the watch!
Ok...I have been wearing this watch just about 24 hrs a day (not in shower) everyday for over a year..... I can tell you that it isn't scratched or marred in any way. This is not the case for my other watches.. they got kind of beat in a year... This watch is a big hit.... Just picked up the chrono version.. when I want to go fancy!
Thanks for showing this model Bob. Unfortunately I have a “Star Wars Evil Empire” vibe that’s implanted itself in my brain when I look at this watch and I can’t shake it LOL. You’re 100% correct in that I’ve yet to find the absolute perfect watch for me. This one would be a nice addition to anwell-rounded collection.
Great review. I really wanted one of these but the effective lug to lug won't work with my scrawny wrist. If I see one instore somewhere I will still try it on to see.
To me, the CON you are referring to is not really a CON ?! I have a rather small wrist but always wear my watches kind of loose a bit, which makes it very confortable on a daily basis. And since it is so light and so beautiful, it is eye catching and interesting to wear. Thanks for the video! Keep up the good work!
It's a preference to a point. I once tried a very small and slim Skagen that had such enormously sticking out fixed "lugs" (not really lugs, it clamped to the mesh bracelet), it was unwearable, and I have a pretty average hand.
Just got mine. The jeweler said he would remove individual links if I wasn't happy with the wrist size. I might keep it as is though, as I only plan to wear it at home where it is less likely to be damaged.
Dear Sir, thanks for your video. I really love the design of the model AW1660-51H super titanium armoe watch from Citizen. Can i ask you a question? My wrist size is 16.5-17 centimeters, does the watch fit to my wrist? Even if you mentioned in the video that it was the problem to people who has wrist size under 7inch. But I really love it, I just want to ask again :(. Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks a lot.
@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces thanks for replying. Unfortunately I can't not try on this timepiece cause there isn't any store have it where I live. If I want to buy it, I have to order online. Anyway, I have to make my decision eventhough it isn't easy. Thank you so much. Hope you have a nice weekend.
Hi! Thanks for the review - does the second hand actually stop on the markers or is it off? Rather hard to tell from the video and us guys with OCD...well, it’s pretty important. Thanks in advance!
I couldn't find anything to confirm but it had that hue in certain lighting that seemed like an AR coating. Not the best AR but the glare did seem to be reduced.
Nice review. Kind of an interesting watch?but it’s missing something that for me is very important. There are no minute markers, only hour markers. Plus it has running seconds, so to me it kind of defeats the purpose of wearing a watch. Kind of a disappointment, as it had a nicely designed case.
Would love to see this watch up close. But i'll skip as with other amazing looking/specs Citizen watches just because of the size. And please, can someone tell me why OH WHY most asian brands go with the hype of oversized watches when it's a fact that asian have probably the smallest wrists (on this planet at least...)??? Pity... Nice review mate, great (looking) watch, more than enough specs but......
I love this. Definitely a Genta look about it. Eco Drive, is just fantastic, and Titanium. Citizen needs more respect, it really does.
I've owned quite a few over time and they've all been excellent. They make some great watches.

That's good to hear. They definitely make for a comfortable wear. Thanks Adrian.
Finishing on this is superb!! Your B-Roll is so so good Bob!!
Really appreciate that Miguel.

Hi, is it possible to get rid of the metallic strap and have a silicon bracelet instead?

Thanks a lot for this review. Especially the 'measurements' part, very useful info.
It reminds me of the Winter Soldier if it was a Citizen Marvel watch.

Lol. Thanks Jack :)
just bought one can't wait for it to arrive, I hope it fits my wrist. I just measured my wrist and it's over 7inch
Should be good with your wrist size. Congrats on the new watch!
Is it a little darker than the usual stainless steel silver tone? (I actually want it to be)
It does seem to be darker than the usual stainless steel.
Thanks for d info on wrist size i may not go for it as my wrist goes 55mm
Good looking watch. Titanium and Citizen. Thanks for the review.
Thanks Roderick.
Great review Bob...I really like the look but it's a shame that I probably couldn't pull it off😕
Yeah those endlinks would be a problem for you for sure. Thanks!
I have 6.75"wrist. I went in person to check this out as I really liked the style. It wears fine on my wrist. Love it!
Nice review Bob, enjoy the macro shots you always provide in your videos. The watch suits your wrist perfectly:)
Thanks you sir. This one was especially fun to take macros of :)
Thanks for your video! Helped me decide to order one. Excited for it to get here 🤘🏼
Awesome! Enjoy it👍
Just tried one on at a local AD. Very cool piece, but still on the fence lol. Great review!
It's pretty cool. Neat design. Thanks!
That is one cool looking watch 😎
More alien technology from the future. Great looking watch. Crazy effective lug to lug though.
I know right :) Yes those fixed links are going to be a problem with a lot of people I think. Thanks!
Great review. I really wanted one of these but the effective lug to lug won't work with my scrawny wrist. If I see one instore somewhere I will still try it on to see.
Yes it's too bad about that lug to lug. I think it'll be a problem for a lot of wrist sizes. Thanks though. Have a nice weekend:)
It plays well with the light!
It does. Made it fun to take video of. Thanks Stefaan.
I really like the looks of it. Thanks for sharing!
Neat design and style with this one. Thanks.
How Citizen can produce these titanium watches for so cheap will always amaze me.
Good price and the finish work is so good too, especially for a titanium watch.
Interesting pick. Thanks!! Would love to see one.
It's a neat watch. Thanks :)

Oh for sure. It's totally a preference thing. Appreciate it. Have a great rest of the week.

@@ffmfg : that skagen design is ridiculous ....no spring-bars ...just a slip fit and a couple of screws .
I think every collection should have something far outside the norm. This could be it for someone. Nice to see citizen try something different.
I think you're right on that. I always find it fun wearing watches with a bit of a different style. Thanks.
Cool watch for sure !
Thanks Chris.
Super watch.

Cool fall casio giveaway! Put me in the drawing hat Bro!
what good is a watch if it doesn't fit your wrist or is not comfortable as a daily wearer ?
I love the looks and the idea of ti but I definitely love the point you brought with the wrist! Must try on and not buy online.
thanks for awesome simple video ,price was up since .
like the look of the watch and band not ajustable ,just dont like that option .
thanks .
Yeah I wish there were some sort of micro adjust too. Thanks for watching!
can you adjust the band?
You can remove links to size it but no micro adjustments on the clasp.

I could possibly overhang your wrist slightly but at 17cm it will be close. It might work but hard to say without trying it on.

Shame they didn't give more play in those links, unfortunately it will be too wide for my wrist but a smart looking watch either way.
Yeah that is a shame. Going to take a lot of people out of being potential buyers I think. Thanks.
@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces Definitely so!
is it possible to replace the metal strap with silicon strap ?
Should be able to although I haven't tried.
@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces ok thanks, the only thing I don't like wearing is metallic bracelet 😁.
Hi! Thanks for the review - does the second hand actually stop on the markers or is it off? Rather hard to tell from the video and us guys with OCD...well, it’s pretty important. Thanks in advance!
I agree and totally meant to mention that it does. It's spot on hitting the markers every time.
Is glass anti-reflective? Thanks.
I couldn't find anything to confirm but it had that hue in certain lighting that seemed like an AR coating. Not the best AR but the glare did seem to be reduced.
I wonder if this uses the same finishing technique as the Casio Oceanus titanium watches
Seems similar although I'm not sure if one would hold up better over the other.
How luminous are the hands and markers? i.e. how easy is it to tell what time it is when it is dark?
There's no lume on the markers. Only the hands. It's decent but not very useful without the lumed markers.
beast 🔥
Another great video! Interesting watch. I am not sure I like the look of titanium from a colour standpoint.
I prefer steel too but I don't mind switching it up for titanium from time to time. Thanks a lot Ian.
I have a citizen promaster Titanium and it's so slippery thank to Titanium it always slips down my wirst ! No Matter how I set the braclet size !
Reminds of a omega constellation
Nice review.

Good point. Would have certainly made it easier to read the time more precisely. Thanks.
Does the bezel rotate?
It doesn't. I believe it does on the chronograph versions but not this one.
So beautiful! 😍
Thanks!
500 US dólares Watch but the price could be different in a other country
is the crown screwed in ??
Nope
What about hair pulling? I'm suspicious about the links shape. They look like those on stretchy metal bracelets from 60s-70s, and those are painful.
No problems with hair pulling. It does look a little like those hair puller stretchy bands but I never noticed a problem with it.
My wrist is 6.5 inches and I had to return it same day I got this watch. 😢 That fixed 2 links are ruined whole project.
Yeah the come out pretty far from the case unfortunately.

Nice review mate, great (looking) watch, more than enough specs but......
Citizen claim super titanium is x5 more scratch resistant than stainless steel? How true is that , cause this is not regular titanium
Hard to tell for sure but it seems to hold up really well.
WRONG! Citizen claims this super titanium MRK to be FIVE TIMES more scratch resistant than stainless steel ... not 50% more.
Great watch but this lug-to-lug 🤦
Yeah it's pretty long lug to lug. Thanks Piotr.
This video makes me cancel my purchase.
It's nowhere near as smart as the PMD56-2952...
