    I'm a male who got the procedure and about 1.5 liters of fat (not overall fluids)was taken out. without and drains left in, i drained for about 24 hours.... after that the wounds closed and nothing else came out. Its been about 10 days and all the wounds are about 80% healed... Swelling is still about 70%....Bruises today are around 30%....tenderness is still about 60%... I do also have hard lumps that feel like fibrosis but i'm combatting that with a hard board and a roller which i just roll around the areas 3x a day for about 15-20 min. at a time. Just some personal information i would like to share with everyone just in case you all was wondering.

    Does Seroma in the neck due to chin/jaw trisculpt go away or needs draining? Had the procedure 2 days ago and developed it second day.. dr. told me to keep the compression wrap for 24 hours. The fluid started building up and got worse today. Does this require drainage or it will go away? And, will this affect the texture and shape of the face and skin and healing? Thank you for your informative videos.

    I had drainage the first night only.after that nothing n all my wounds closed pretty fast.now i feel alot of painful lumps in my stomach which get really painful when i try to bend or something.they're really hard.im wondering if its all the built up fluid!i really hope it does not turn into fibrosis.its alot n its painful.my whole skin is really hard in most areas but there are really hard n painful spots that hurt deeply in the skin with the smallest pull or poke.im 8 days post op and very worried.they took out 1.5 liter of fat from my stomach sides and back n i was not fat in any sense just had a tiny bit of excess stubborn fat in those areas

    so you only need to drain the fluid the first two to three days. After the incisions close do you still need to drain if it has been 2 or three days already?

    • @niptuckplasticsurgery
      @niptuckplasticsurgery  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey!
      The drains typically stain place for one to two weeks. The purpose of the drain is to prevent fluid from accumulating under the skin flap, which intern can cause delay in wound healing. Nip & Tuck Plastic Surgery, the drain is typically removed after the output is less than 50 mL for two consecutive days. If drainage continues longer than Two weeks, sometimes we just remove the drain due to risk of infection. It is imperative for patients to wear their Faja (garment), which adds another means of compression.

    How long will it take before my pubic area natural color comeback to normal it's been 6 months?

    • @niptuckplasticsurgery
      @niptuckplasticsurgery  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It truly varies, hyperpigmentation of the skin is not uncommon as a result of hemosiderin deposits in the tissue. It can take up to a year and in some individuals it's permanent.

    I had my surgery (lipo and bodytite) Tuesday morning its now Friday and I’ve been leaking blood and yellow so many bed pads looks like a murder scene My nurse drains me every day and I get infection prevention shots, blood clot shots and iron shots since I fainted 3 times after surgery. I’m in Mexico and this experience has been very bloody and painful

      I’ve had 2 liposuction surgeries with open drains and closed drains.
      I was leaking for almost 3 weeks with the open drains- it was the horrible with the smell and fluids of blood/fat and surgery fluids mixed in together. With the help from Lymphtic massage everyday for 2 weeks, it helped with the swelling and my results are better. It’s not a great 2-3 weeks but I do like the results better and the releases of the fluids feel so good.
      With closed drains I am not a big fan of it as I am more swollen for months and you have to really massage it to those lymphatic system.
      I am sorry that you are fainted and it’s not a great experience to go through.

    What if everything didn’t all drain does it naturally drain out through your lymphatic system ?

    • @niptuckplasticsurgery
      @niptuckplasticsurgery  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question, your body will absorb most of the fluid and the rest drains out. If your body retains the fluid, you can sometimes form a seroma.

    I have my drain in for 1.5 months and when they took it out im still collecting fluid (seroma). What i should do now ? Put another drain in ?

      Call your doctor because that's too long. Something isn't right!

    • @niptuckplasticsurgery
      @niptuckplasticsurgery  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That is a significant amount of time. More than likely, a capsule has formed and the cavity will continue to produce more fluid until the capsule is removed. The next best step is probably a follow up with your physician.

      I had lipo and bodytite done on my tummy, back, arms and legs and it’s been 4 days I’m still leaking so much fluid it looks like a murder scene so many bed pads had to buy new garders replaced so many sheets it’s crazy the amount of yellow and blood fluid that’s been leaking my dr and nurses said it’s important to drain out as much as possible to reduce the swelling

      There are so many variables. One cause can be the amount of tumescent solution that was used during your case. The more needed, the more you drain.

    reduce the risk of disease? the body needs rest from eating, drinking, sex, anger. Islam teaches fasting as a suppressor of lust. because anything in excess is not good
