    I got a 12V heated blanket to run off my Bluetti. Pop that in your sleeping bag to heat it up, and you'll have a nice cozy sleep. It works indoors, too, if you get a power cut.

    Well my car camping, came to grinding halt.😤😭. Upset. C3 Picasso that I had used for only 3 months or less engine failed. Upgrading is proving more costly then planned. Did get money back from C3 Picasso, but now looking for cars. Don't want too old a car, due to coming out of a 12 year vehicle, previously that in repairs ended up, out valuing what I paid for the car. I thought the C3 Picasso was the ideal upgrade solution. It was, and had some fantastic trips in it, it was roomy and brilliant for my needs but wasn't meant to be. Looking now for replacement within budget. That is proving difficult. Oh well onwards and up, hope you get the winter car camping sorted. 👍🏿 lady car camper 🇬🇧

    Take along as much backup as you can when it comes to temperature. The thing with batteries like this , they come with operational temperature and if it gets too cold they will literally NOT work. I have this unit and so far I like it...but if you are going somewhere far just make sure you take along a few just in case items to keep you warm enough because while these are great, they unfortunately can fail to work if it is either too hot or too colds and that includes even being able to charge them up. Happy camping.

      @@BrendanExploresThe Delta 2 has it's own case with air-cooling flaps to keep it dry in rain 🌧️, but also adds some insulation during freezing ❄️ temperatures. The bifacial Ecoflow panels are great and work even better during winter (panels become more efficient in the cold). When the Delta refuses to start taking in solar power due to extreme cold but sunny mornings 🥶, I simply plug in a hairdryer on warmest setting, and then blow the air gently over the Delta until it begins working.
      I've been living in my car full time for 5 years, but do not use a heater even in minus -15C. I prefer simply to use ultra warm goose down clothing. Also no electric blanket because a duck or goose down sleeping bag is plenty warm even to minus -40C.
      Regarding fridges, it is far better to use a compressor coolbox fridge/freezer that auto turns off when it reaches the required temperature (controlled via phone app). This works well with the Delta day & night for several days without recharging. Fit the Ecoflow 800W inverter to fast-charge the Delta during prolonged periods of rainy days.
      Plug the fridge into the car cigarette socket while driving to different locations to save wasting battery power.

    That thing is pretty cool, thanks for sharing Brendan!
    It got me thinking: If you were to fully charge the EcoFlow and plug the thing into an electric car (because you can charge a car from a 3 pin as you probably know, albeit slowly), how many miles would you get out of it before the battery is drained I wonder?
    It got me thinking if you could travel forever in an electric car, but of course slowly (charge the EcoFlow with solar, use that to charge car), but I think the electic car's battery is too big for the EcoFlow to make an impact

    • @BrendanExplores
      @BrendanExplores  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Joe, glad you liked the video buddy 👍 yeh I don't think technology is there yet in regards to solar charging while driving without needing another power source. But if a car can charge from a solar charger then hopefully the tech isn't too far away 😁

I also have a DC kettle to boil water which looks more like a flask and can also be used as a heater if you leave the water in there.

    Congratulations on the freebie and nicely done to showcase just some of Ecoflows potential use cases. I was on holiday when they ran the launch promotion, what they didn’t say was the promotion was also limited.
    The UK promotion sold out lightning fast, leaving about a week or more for the promotion window, leaving a lot of people frustrated and confused as to why the promotion limits were not made clear.
    All that said, I’m probably going to press the button and if you get a % kickback with this link (I heard could be up to 8%) then that makes me feel better, as you say, everyone needs to earn a living, so why not 🙏

I’m thinking a second or third 80w tube may be handy to keep temperatures up on really cold nights or help speed up the pre-heat. 80w doesn’t seem like a lot on it’s own, but am guessing you’ve already thought of this and planning to add a second if it’s needed

    This was the last vanlife channel without a free EcoFlow, but it was only a matter of time. 😕 This will not work, 80 watts is simply not enough to heat a car. Would you expect an 80w lightbulb to heat your car? It is basically the same.

I've wanted one of these for a long time so it was a huge shock when they reached out to me to collaborate. I hope you can understand when you see a sponsored segment on my channel in the future as it's a vital part for any content creators income.
