Shelly, thank you so much for all the information. I did not know that at all about the waxed base foundations. But you know it makes sense when you think about it. I know this is an old posting but I just started following you..so I was wondering if you know the color of the Tarte concealer you were given and if you still use it and do you still like it? I need a really good concealer. I use the Bamboo Beige as well in Laura Mercier, so I thought the concealer color you were given would work for me as well. You may have mentioned the concealer shade in a different video, but I did not find it Thank you so much for your information.

Just wanted to tell you i just got the Laura Mercier Silk creme Foundation and i think i like it - it seems less luminous than the Lancome lift foundation i was using which is a good thing -i almost feel you don't need powder with the Laura Mercier - do you use any powder over it- I did put a little finishing powder over it and didn't seem to cake up or show the wrinkles more but think you could go without powder also. Thanks for all your wonderful beauty tips! I really appreciate it them! xox

Hi! I just subbed, I found you on Colleen's page. Peggy is a doll, I love her channel. I also make videos but have had to take a short break, but, I'll be back :) I love the Tarte concealer, it's so nice. I have the stick one too but, my mascara smears when I wear that one. I like the LM Silk Crème a lot too but, I have to go back and purchase the Beige Ivory, the color I have now is too light. You have a nice channel!

Melissa, Just wanted to share a FYI with you. I dropped in to my local Merle Norman store the other day. While there, I inquired about the foundation you used to wear. The sales lady told me that they will be bringing it back. She said that they are repackaging it She said they have had lots of inquires about this foundation and said she thinks it will be back in October......xox Ellen

Lancôme lifting foundation is wax base Floats over the skin suspending the pigments and shiseido lifting foundation is wax base. I did a little homework on what makeup artist use on older people like cher and Madonna the same girl did the both her name is gina brookes I found her on facebook and ask her, she used shu urma wax stick foundation< I know I spelled that wrong.. and urban decay shadows and primer. x shelly
