2 year skunk? Don’t wanna sound like an asshole but how often you fish? I think that’s impossible if you fish every other week/once a month etc whatever you can think of
@@redrumx8214 probably once every couple months. I have to go pretty far to find a fishing hole that doesn't have shit loads of people at it every weekend.
Also I'm a bit of a noob so I probably just suck at it

I started off my fishing season this year catching some trout, one salmon and just caught a huge northern pike! Love watching these solo survival videos. It’s awesome seeing you live off the land! Keep uploading great videos! Come to Maine and I’ll show you some good trout holes!

Whenever you're stung by the sting nettle and its unbearable what you can do is rub your nasal discharge on the area and it'll bring you much relief. Its gross but incase there isnt the emergency care around you can do that.
I really appreciate the effort you're putting in to give us the "wilderness" catch and cook experience in the Puget lowlands. As a fellow local, can't wait for the mountains the thaw out. cheers

I live here in Michigan now and have recently got on some steelhead and salmon that come up river to spawn from Lake Michigan and it is a blast! I still visit the sieras every summer because of the beauty. It would be really cool to see some videos possibly in the desolation wilderness around Lake Tahoe that would be really cool to see!🏔

That was a beautiful butterfly fillet of that trout with just a little knife! Your woodsman knife skills are coming along amazing! Perch is also my absolute fave to eat. Walleye coming in at a very close second due to the similarities.

No fire rings, no area cleaning. That is a really good way to start a forest fire if the wind starts blowing.
Not sure what video you watched, but I poured water on the fire and stomped it out 👌🏼 plus we don’t make fires unless it’s moist out :)

It was very apparent that it was not dry conditions considering it took many trys to get the fire lit in the first place.

Lovely stuff man. Reminds me of my fishing skills before I bought a rod 😂 I always found fresh bendy sticks like willow or mountain Ash worked best. Definitely keep that trout carcass, makes great Pike, Wel'scatfish, Zander and even ferox trout bait here in Europe. So it will probably work for some American predators. Keep up the great vids, I love them.

That conk mushroom you found looked to be an artist conk. You can draw on the bottom of it and make some pretty cool artwork with them. They’re also edible when boiled in tea if those were in fact artist conks. Beautiful video as always mate, thanks for sharing!

The only thing is I hate is I’m not literally experiencing it myself in those remote places. Although , I do what you do in Appalachia NC. I just don’t record or document it. My kayak and poles never leave my truck in warmer weather.
