I just saw a video of someone using an old fridge as a water trough to keep water from freezing solid & another idea to use a propane burner under a raised trough so the animals always had water.

a trick from an Ice Fisherman here, use a 5 gallon bucket with the cover on to sit. You can also store a bunch of gear in it and keeps it dry. I even got a seat warmer on mine. I started watching your vids and love them keep up the good work.

Im sitting comfortably before my desk and eating breakfast, and i feel like i'm with you hunting and fishing. I had to put on a sweater becasue it was getting cold. Hunting part was really fun, you can definitely add something like that from time to time. I loved icefishing purches with my grandpa. They are my favourite fish to eat.

Hey there, just a little safety tip. After you have drilled a nice hole for fishing, instead of putting your auger on ground, drill it to ice. Not quite through. It stays up and blades are not visible. Those are sharp as knives and you don't want to step or fell on it. That ice is slippery as ever after drilling and water floods on ice. Blade cover works as well :) Stay safe and fish on!
