  • I will talk about the fact that many young people in this generation (gen z) literally worship these Twitch streamers and celebrities instead of actually doing something with their lives.
Watch till the end cuz I think this will really help you.

As a gen z person, if this were to happen to me, I would just try to get a cell phone (not another smartphone) barely ever use the internet (which I still barely ever use it except for TH-cam, listening to music) and just go out, "touch the grass", live life, and pursue my dreams until I die in the 2100s

It's crazy how much I relate to what you said! I just don't get the hype around influencers and streamers compared to my peers. They've never really been my thing. My friends, though, are totally into them, and all I hear about is their latest drama. Honestly, I'd much rather talk about things that matter to us, you know, stuff happening in our own lives and ways to make a real difference in society but ehh. Great video none the less, we definitely consume too much junk that doesn't give off value. Keep creating these kinds of videos :)

I feel the same way in fact since time = money we are making these influencers richer while at the same time we have to work at our low wage jobs or have to put a lot of effort to make money while they do it for free

    More power to you.
You can go your own way.
Don't follow the crowd of non-critical thinkers, they will take you right off a cliff.
The worst thing is when they grow up, get old, and still haven't changed or learned to properly reason, and then ineffectively argue politics.

Hi brother, this video made my day better! Once my classmates were talking about kylie jener, and when i asked them who it was they bursted out loud and told me too that im living under the rock. I think everyone should watch this video. The society is going deep and deeper day by day. We need to protect them. Nice video and good luck 👍

I have also been told that I live under a rock. 😂 I've heard of these streamers, but I've never watched them before. Like, I agree: What's the big appeal to them? It's definitely a topic that has to be addressed. I'm 17 BTW. :D I try to focus on studying, working, and enjoying some gaming in my free time, without spending all my time on any one thing. Spread it out, it makes life a lot more enjoyable!

3:09 I don’t think you can reliably go about helping people for whom you have little empathy. People have their own reasons and circumstances for doing what they do, and I don't know anybody who would want to listen to someone who's actively judging them for it.

Sadly everything you said in this video about people is true. I used to be a pretty talented, unique and sporty kid who really didnt watch any media at all. But as you said in the video, your classmates kinda made fun of you for not knowing the speed guy. The same happened to me, classmates mocked me for living under a rock. Till now - my 14/15, I used social media a lot, played videogames a lot, etc. And I dont even kknow what happened but while rewatching Blue lock for the third time with my brother something sparked in me, made me want to work out, to go outside, to do whats fun to me. And to be honest Ive been happier ever since I stopped caring about trends and things.

this is my biggest problem with zoomers they glorify greed and bad behaviour at least in the past the role models promoted hard work and being respectful and helpful and just good. these people were often quite bad behind the scenes but that didn't really matter at last they had a good message .

I disagree, there will always be clowns. Decades ago without the internet people would go to circuses to see clowns, we just witness clowns doing clown things. When you start replicating the behaviour thats when its bad, as every kid wants to be a youtuber or streamer. But other than that just laughing at them for being clowns isnt that bad.
