Little Riku: "open your heart and listen" KH1 Dark Riku: "Open your heart to the darkness!" KH1 Dark Riku in battle: "open your heart to the darkness!" BBS Terranort:"GET OUT OF MY HEART!"
That's actually very convenient because Riku is a reincarnation of Terra and Xehanort possessed Terra so that is probably why Riku shares similar lines with Xehanort.
+Michael Siegler From what we know as of now, Riku is not a reincarnation of Terra. Don't give Nomura any trollish ideas. But had Riku not been corrupted early on, he definitely would have been the one to wield the Keyblade because he was initially chosen. Sora just happened to take control of it because the plot called for it when Riku went into the darkness.
razer kai blaze Ven is fighting Vanitas, who is technically part of Ven. Terra is fighting Xehanort, who has taken possession of Terra's body (Terra is fighting through the Lingering Will, AKA the lost mind of Terra inside his armor).
No, it's real. Everything I did in this can be replicated by others who put effort into trying not to get hit. The problem with attacking physically is Terranort is really hard to stagger and it'll result in getting smacked up, which is bad for No Damage.
After seeing this I've realized something, when Sora and everyone rescue Aqua she doesn't deserve some kind of walk up to or stairway out...she deserves a frickin' yacht with everyone wavering at her and calling her name. Mostly Sora, Riku, and Kairi as a call back.
Wolfboss7 Only Mickey and Riku are rescuing Aqua... we learned that in 2.8. Sora, Dolan and Gaffy are training with Hercules. Kairi, along with Lea, are training with Merlin. So, I mean, once she get's out she'll have a party, but for now it's just Grey Haired Terra and Mickey.
Aqua beat Xehanort at the height of his power, took down a X-blade wielding Venitas, and sacrificed her chance at escaping the Realm of Darkness so Terra would survive. And in return KH3 made her into a helpless wreck whose job is to get bodied by the bad guys to make them look like a bigger threat...even Vanitas in his weakest form, who got humiliated by Sully. KH3 really was a pile of garbage.
WakeUpFalling And Yen sid is Dis ney lol. Btw the main heroes names means aqua for water, terra for earth and ventus for blue sky. The same goes for sora- sky, riku - ocean and kairi- land. Also there is 3 types of keyblades Keyblade of light- sky. Keyblade of heart- ocean. Keyblade of darkness. The same goes for the eye colours. Green- someone who have darkness in him but is not possessed by it (Riku have green eyes and Sora will have too in Kingdom Hearts 3) , Blue- Someone with pure heart( Kairi have blue eyes and Sore up to Dream Drop Distance part- in KH3 he will open his heart to the darkness in order to Resurrect Roxas who will merge with Ventus after his awakening because Roxas was originally Ventus's nobody, not Sora's) Yellow eyes is for someone who is possessed by darkness and have a part of Xehanorth within him.
I just noticed. Terranort never seems to have his keyblade and his guardian simultaneously. When he uses keyblade attacks the guardian disappears. When he drops his keyblade in the end and it disappears, then the guardian appears and melts away. I wonder if this is plot significant...
Its crazy to realize how powerfull Aqua is, I mean she single handedly defeats Terranort who must be one of the most powerfull beings of the entire series.
I think we can all agree that regardless of Aqua's power, if Xehanort gained fully control over Terra and/or got used to Terra's body he would have won. But thankfully Terra and Aqua both stopped Xehanort.
Aqua really is alone. She lost Ven to his darker half, while she did end up winning, Ven's currently inactive. And Terra is gone too, because he completely gave in willingly just to take down Xehanort.
She's not really, just separated. Like the situation with Sora, Riku and Kairi. A trio of close, good friends but due to circumstances they all are separated. When you think about, the events of Birth By Sleep happens to the Destiny Islands gang too. Last time I checked, Aqua is on the verge of being rescued by Sora and the gang and everything will fall in line from there.
In terms of AI, Terranort has to be one of the smartest bosses in video game history. He moves simultaneously with you, knows pretty much all of Terra's techniques, and can anticipate your evasion patterns.
After seeing Ansem's Guardian in 3D (Riku's story) I'm wondering who was dominating at 11:50 Was it Terra? was it Xehanort? Because i'm pretty sure it was xehanort who pushes Terra into darkness (Seeing Xehanort's guardian fell)... You know Xehanort's guardian, his bandages might mean something.
Xehanort. In the japanese version he uses the personal pronoun "Watashi" in this scene, which is a clear indicator that Xehanort is the one in control, since Terra uses "ore" to refer to himself. But even in english, you can assume it's Xehanort because: Terra doesn't know how to remove one's heart and because Terranort said "Stop fighting back" at the beginning of the scene.
Burst Flare Oh okay, yea not possible to No Damage that. It's not possible to win that either likely without having Renewal Barrier to heal or Cures in deck as well, so you'd not be able to win.
Burst Flare It's an extremely poorly designed fight where the boss doesn't get properly staggered and is not properly open most of the fight, you'd get hit a lot doing only physical attacks, which is why anyone good at this game doesn't do that
Given the number of plot twist in this series, just watch at the end, Xehanort is not the actual real be all end all villain either, but simply manipulated to revive Kingdom Hearts or something. Then Necron (I will never let it go!) will show up and announce itself to be the true culprit aimed at return all the hearts to nothing via KH. Then they announce KH4 with Necron Final Boss XD I dunno lol
Actually I did like Necron. The thing is due to the typical "Disc 4 space limitation" of the PSOne era, the resolution of Trance Kuja's battle is done via ingame mechanic instead of a proper cutscene, and thus most people believe Kuja destroys the crystal and then Necron arrives ala Giant Space Flea Out of Nowhere. In actuality, if you pay attention to when Kuja uses Ultima and then collapses, the Crystal is still intact. Then when Necron "appears" he mentions he himself will destroy the crystal and bring all existence to an end. Finally the final battle location "Hill of Despair" plus the constant wailing gives the final clue to what is going on. Kuja actually managed to kill your party with Ultima, making him the first FF villain to ever do so. Hill of Despair is the other side of the Iifa Tree, the path the Terran and Gaian souls traverse from one world to another. Call it Limbo. Garland himself mentions that Soulcage was merely the physical manifestation of the Iifa Tree, with Necron being the true overseer of the soul migration. Which is a really shitty job, considering that both Garland and Kuja had been stirring shit up for the whole game, causing a lot of war and death, AND Kuja destroys Terra, causing ALL the souls from both Gaia and Terra to have nowhere to go (and thus the Mist flood in Disc 4). With all that in mind, its reasonable that Necron is pissed that his house is now overun with souls in pain and suffering and decides that the solution is to erase all the world. Kinda like when you find a spider in your house and you burn it down to the ground.
lezard2102 I didn't say I hate it. It's just that it's a sudden final boss. It's not the only one either---Cloud of Darkness, Neo ExDeath, even Ultimecia to some degree...but the last one has more story than the other two I mentioned. I am just saying it's PLOT TWIST!
I have played and watched this fight many times since the release of bbs, but now i wonder if terra used xehanort keyblade i asume he extracted his own heart from his body leaving only xehanort heart in his body so were did terra heart go?
***** Well, then Xehanort is an idiot. If he wanted to take over Terra's body completely, why didn't he use the Keyblade and unlock Terra's heart instead of transforming his own inside?
I think the shadowy heartless is terra because one its another being of dark and terras heart is fighting the darkness and also in dream drop distance theres a cutscene where the heartless is reaching out to Riku like its calling for help
@Justin English I don't think that's Terra. Riku would've sensed some light in it if it was Terra, and when Riku held up his Keyblade in front of it, it just gave up on being rescued.
Beat him at level 28, but I literally could not hit him with any of my attacks. Seeker mines would never hit him no matter how many times I used it, he always dodges shotlocks in the first stage, and he's so aggressive that there's almost never any actual openings. I only beat him by reflecting his shotlock back and using my counter a million times. The fight took fucking forever. I feel like this boss, along with most bosses in BBS, is just REALLY poorly designed.
Maxxcell Higdon well you’ll find out that in kh3 , ven and roxas will merge into one this whole time roxas is actually ven but his memories were wiped when he became roxas . That’s why he’s the only nobody who can’t remember his past

Jay yea your right , I just think it makes sense especially how ventus and lea met when they were kids in bbs and became friends and then in 358 roxas is friends with lea
I COMPLETELY agree, KH has a GREAT set of Voice Actors, Mark Hamill, Leonard Nimoy, Haley Joel Osment, Alyson Stoner, hell, I even think Jesse McCarteney did a decent job, but Aqua just doesn't have a lot of emotion in her delivery.
just one question. What is the guardian? I have two theories 1st he is Terras Heartless it sounded like Terranort banning Terra. Or it (that´s the worse hypothesis somehow as it would mean i´ve beaten up Terra in any form) is master Xehanort. That would fuck up entire Kingdom hearts. I mean Ansem SoD would be Terras heartless then, Xemnas would be his nobody but i can´t figure, why he identifies himself as xehanort. if that was the case. Well maybe Xehanort already fucked his heart up that badly?
Hey biz i know this video was taken really long ago and u may know it already but durning terra-norts DM 8:10 u can damage terranort by doing a single attack everytime after the guardian erupts from the ground
I like a good plot twist. But plot twist within twist withing twist just seems waaaaay to forced. Liked the first game, everything after that could'nt really get me. Although i have to admit, the fighting system is brilliant.
Except that Kingdom Hearts really doesn't have that many plot twists. Plot twists are thing that no one saw coming yet where their under your nose the entire time. The only real plot twist that I can even think of off the top of my head was finding out that Ansem the Wise, and Ansem the Seeker of Darkness are two completely unrelated beings, and I suppose the Xehanort stuff in DDD, which I won't spoil in case people haven't played it yet. Everything else is mostly just layers upon layers of extra story, a lot of which is only there for the sake of having extra story, lol.
***** Sakura Haruno is useless. I can't refute that argument. But recent events have shown that Kairi has a Keyblade, and eventually will stop being useless.
Is it possible that, from what I understand... In 3D, Xehanort reveals some kind of 13 Vessels of Darkness or something.... Xemnas' Organization XIII was a prototype of that or something, right? Is it possible Ansem SoD was trying to do something similar? I mean, he gathered a number of villains who were all basically absorbed by the darkness...
One thing i never understood. Terrra-xehanort, stabbed himself in order to lock his heart. But which of the two hearts within terra forced that action? Terra or Xehanort?
Wait after I beat the keyblade graveyard there was a cut scene of aqua taking ven to yen sids tower then the game ended are you supposed to beat it on critical
It is. The Final Episode is unlocked only after the other three are beaten. BBSFM introduced the Secret Episode with its own boss, however this isn't FM
Aqua is a mage, her physical attacks are REALLY REALLY horrible. Those are basically the best magic commands in the game. The only reason they're weak is because this is being played on the hardest difficulty.
Yes, there's attacks that are 1000x better. But for boss battles a lot of them aren't much use. I beat "terranort" (as terra) in just over 2 minutes using only fira, bizzaga and cura.
where the bit where u meet in the middle and there terrnort and terra popped out and it golden ? and all that or was that just my game? and a few others or is that when your attacking not using magic?
Because this is the Secret Episode. It's optional, and you can only unlock it by getting all 12 Xehanort reports over the three stories. This is, as the title says, the true final boss, but you don't NEED to do it.
All right I might have problem I beat the game with all three characters Terra: Proud mode, Aqua:Proud mode, Ventus: Standard, plus I got the final episode but I been trying to get the secret ending and I accidentally saved the final episode data on my Aqua save, so I wonder am I in trouble would I still need that save data or I'm screwed?
What I find REALLY interesting about kingdom hearts, and very smart is that before they started making kingdom hearts 1 and 2 I'm sure they already started thinking about what they would make happen in the khBBS and 358/2 days.
Since I've played the first Kingdom hearts over 15 times (lol), I can say that it isn't due to bad planning. When Sora was in his room, he could from his window see Destiny Island. That means that this other island existed very close to Destiny Island as well in the first game. The reason we couldn't see this "main island" is unknown for me as well.
key "blade". many of the weapons of keyblades share parts with that of a sword. KH Ultima weapon had a sword attached and the "X" blade are 2 swords forged together with attachments to make it more key to fit with the series theme.

I mean Ansem SoD would be Terras heartless then, Xemnas would be his nobody but i can´t figure, why he identifies himself as xehanort. if that was the case. Well maybe Xehanort already fucked his heart up that badly?
I'm almost totally convinced the guardian is Terra's heartless, forcibly bound to Xehanort, and later, Xehanort's heartless.
Kingdom hearts has the most illogicaL story ever
Eat shit maggot
it's not that complex, it's just star wars fanfic
8 Years Later This Fight Got Remastered And Its Exactly The Same (Story KH3 Fight Not Data)
I just realized how "super saiyan" Terra looks with that white hair. Just missing the yellow.
You can say he is super sayjan 5 with Short hair
Terra Ultra Instinct.
Wait he had yellow hair ?
How is this Mode Unlocked? I am Playing Final Mix version
6:05
Who would win?
A powerful keyblade master in the body of one of the strongest young keyblade wielders
A shadowy other
Hey biz i know this video was taken really long ago and u may know it already but durning terra-norts DM 8:10 u can damage terranort by doing a single attack everytime after the guardian erupts from the ground
So this games combat is all about rolling and no keyblade use?
nnightkingj no aqua just has very little in key blade attack it's just not worth it
Pretty much, the combat is very lackluster in comparison to KH1 and 2 sadly.
At 5:10 when he stands there, is that scripted or did he just randomly derp for 5 seconds?
he probably made the boss rage quit i mean a lot of people would flat out quit if your fighting someone you cant even touch lol
I remember pretending that this fight was well-designed once. It wasn't fun in the slightest.
im sorry, but the way aqua says "return my friends heart, or pay the price" is super cute to me...
I like a good plot twist. But plot twist within twist withing twist just seems waaaaay to forced. Liked the first game, everything after that could'nt really get me. Although i have to admit, the fighting system is brilliant.
What plot twist after plot twist?
Except that Kingdom Hearts really doesn't have that many plot twists. Plot twists are thing that no one saw coming yet where their under your nose the entire time. The only real plot twist that I can even think of off the top of my head was finding out that Ansem the Wise, and Ansem the Seeker of Darkness are two completely unrelated beings, and I suppose the Xehanort stuff in DDD, which I won't spoil in case people haven't played it yet. Everything else is mostly just layers upon layers of extra story, a lot of which is only there for the sake of having extra story, lol.
+Nick Baynes Kingdom Hearts kind of confuses me. I'm a little new to the series though...
Well, it IS a Kudzu game after all.
MoreImbaThanYou at least in kh2 the plot twist involving ansem wasn't forced especially if you read the ansem reports
I just like how Terra and Ven's keyblade only help Aqua once when surrounded by a couple of Darkside's and never again in 0.2
They can't summon their blades as they wish, because they're having incredible struggles in their hearts
I have to admit it, I think Aqua and Larxene are the ONLY female Kingdom Hearts characters I like. The rest of the girls I hate.
What about namine???
I hate Namine just as much as I hate Xion
Lol why you hate both of then?
Same reason I hate Sakura Haruno they're useless
*****
Sakura Haruno is useless. I can't refute that argument.
But recent events have shown that Kairi has a Keyblade, and eventually will stop being useless.
So fucking beautifully executed play. You have my respect one gamer to another.
6:03 Oh look!! It's Ansem's butt buddy! I missed you SO MUCH!!!!!!
Im guessing terra did in an attempt to rid himself of xehanort
Terra did it. He even said "Get out of my heart!"
The part in Terra's armor was only his lingering will. His heart went with Ansem and his memories were in Xemnas.
Jesus, I haven't seen this amount of unnecessary flipping since Dark Souls PvP. But whatever works, works I guess.
IDidStuff3x N Stuff. more like cartwheel but either way accurate comparison
*Im gonna save this guy who just tried to kill me and is posseded by the main antagonist WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG* ??
Meh the Xehanort fight in DDD looks harder
Because it's really harder the last battle against "Ansem SOD"! x'D
I mean what do I need to do to fight him as a boss
Kingdom Hearts Logic: everybody is ansem.
Wait after I beat the keyblade graveyard there was a cut scene of aqua taking ven to yen sids tower then the game ended are you supposed to beat it on critical
some of this dialogue is cringetastic, but terra offing himself to split himself from xehanort is pretty metal
Jeb pretty metal indeed
It is. The Final Episode is unlocked only after the other three are beaten. BBSFM introduced the Secret Episode with its own boss, however this isn't FM
dude learn to use that keyblade stop using those weak magic attacks, or learn to combine them to make a more powerful magic attack.
You don't really know this game that well, do you
Aqua is a mage, her physical attacks are REALLY REALLY horrible.
Those are basically the best magic commands in the game. The only reason they're weak is because this is being played on the hardest difficulty.
***** She is the best at dodging, and she also has the best "block"
Yes, there's attacks that are 1000x better. But for boss battles a lot of them aren't much use. I beat "terranort" (as terra) in just over 2 minutes using only fira, bizzaga and cura.
ikr
where the bit where u meet in the middle and there terrnort and terra popped out and it golden ? and all that or was that just my game? and a few others or is that when your attacking not using magic?
You Played This Strategically Like A Boss!
I loved getting the fire cartwheel
Thanks for clearing that up. I can't believe 20+ people believed that...
Because this is the Secret Episode. It's optional, and you can only unlock it by getting all 12 Xehanort reports over the three stories. This is, as the title says, the true final boss, but you don't NEED to do it.
whats the name of the song that plays during the first form of the fight?
What moves do you have to meld to get seeker mine, and which world/how did you get the keyblade?
He's moving at the speed of DARKNESS
I didn't knew of this.
Looks like i'll have to finish all the paths.
0:25 terra wait until we get to the hotel to touch those
Hey! the keyblade that appears in 17:34 is the same that appears in the new trailer of Kingdom Hearts 3
DANG, your good at this game.
what a good friend aqua is and what a awesome gameplay.
You know after watching this again, the dreramfinder trio all kept they're promises and you know who didn't? "I promise I'll be back"
-Sora 2020
I didn't get this fight when i played with aqua.
All right I might have problem I beat the game with all three characters Terra: Proud mode, Aqua:Proud mode, Ventus: Standard, plus I got the final episode but I been trying to get the secret ending and I accidentally saved the final episode data on my Aqua save, so I wonder am I in trouble would I still need that save data or I'm screwed?
dont think you are, but arent you meant to do ventus on proud?
What I find REALLY interesting about kingdom hearts, and very smart is that before they started making kingdom hearts 1 and 2 I'm sure they already started thinking about what they would make happen in the khBBS and 358/2 days.
Yoda:Until the time is right disappear we shall.
im not exactly sure(cause no psp atm) but i think you can block most of the guardian's attacks. I remember just spamming reflect burst for the fight.
I'll be excited to see Aqua meet everybody who she knew, now grown-up, due to how long she has been in the Realm of Darkness.
key "blade". many of the weapons of keyblades share parts with that of a sword. KH Ultima weapon had a sword attached and the "X" blade are 2 swords forged together with attachments to make it more key to fit with the series theme.
that thunder at 11:19 looked so majestic!
