Hey guys! Sorry for not uploading in a while. But hey im back! And with the last boss fight for Terra in Birth By Sleep. This video is a showcase of how to defeat the Final Boss in the story of aprentice Terra. In order to defead Master Xehanort I showcase my combination of Abilities , Items , and combos in order to defeat the master succumb to evil

3) Defeats Xehanort before losing his body.
4) Defeats Xehanort without his body
5) Continues to resist Xehanort's will despite being Norted.

More like he was 99% dead and 110% exhausted after fighting Xehanort twice and doing something so advanced only the greatest Keyblade Masters seem to ever achieve it between battles. The man just got ripped out of his freaking body after watching his heart get subjugated, why WOULDN'T he collapse after the threat subsided? Judging by his total lack of movement after falling down, he'd probably used his very last reserves of strength and literally didn't have the energy to animate his armor any longer.
Imo I'm pretty sure it goes like this.

Lingering will: Ok now I just need to........ wait..... How do I get back in there..... well he's knocked out so I can just think it over.

ferdyX93 Well, according to a tweet from Goofy's VA back in 2014, he said that all the voice recordings for KH3 were done. So Nimoy had the time to record his part for Xehanort long before he passed away.

CrafterBazimon Well KH3 is apparently in an advanced state of development so we will just have to wait and see if his lines were done before hand, Though it would feel a bit weird to hear another voice because Nimoy's voice was perfect for Xehanort.

Well, think about it. Terra gets a cape after beating Terranort, and have you seen the Armor of the Master and No Heart? waaay fancier than what Terra, Aqua, and Ventus have.

That's what I always thought since terras ends of the Earth looks like a stronger Earth shaker.
Aqua also gets a "final" form of hers and vens is a little different but you could say that its an actual reflection of the lost memory awaken or whatever
I'm really sad they took out the capes in the end.
Terra is a beast, even when Xehanort's darkness has prevailed over his body, his will to protect his friends is the one that keeps him standing ready to fight for his life (if you can call that living)
I think, its more his Hatred and anger to Xehanort and his Wish to Destroy his Enemy, now that Xehanort has revealed his true intentions to Terra.
I think it's a combination of both, his will to finish what he began, do what he feels was his responsibility to begin with. (And atone for past mistakes.)

I don't really care what people say here but in my opinion 16:18 has got to be the best entrance to a fight In video game history. He's pretty much bowing on his Keyblade then he gets up from bowing and just looks at his opponent slowly and then takes his Keyblade out of the ground in slow motion then Rage Awakened starts. It's just soooo good.

To this day, Terra's battle cry of rage STILL gives me chills when he unleashes the Darkness inside of him. Very few scenes in games have impacted me so long or so hard and by GOD this scene does it's work well.

Firenze 64 won’t be satisfying if you do use Fenrir the first try. I didn’t even feel happy doing Fenrir strat. So when I did it legitimately, I was crying tears of joy.

Ars Solum, probably the manliest thing the player can unlock in the entirety of Kingdom Hearts, is now granted a speed buff and used as a bosses default attack combo. God help us.
+Aidan Keogh i have the game i still play it. and ars solum is op as fuck but in my opinion faith is way better
tails the fox is awsom Faith is much better for clusters of enemies, I admit that. Ars Solum is extremely useful for boss fights.
Name one Unversed beside bosses that can take a full Ars Solum combo.
My strategy for groups with Terra was Magnega, followed up by Brutal Blast.
Aidan Keogh i prefer ventus tbh. hes faster and may be weaker but some of his moves are good for bosses. twisted hours is a decent damage finisher and has way too much invincibility but i think my favourite ventus move is tornado

Junior Stop Motions its in a chest in neverland skull rock cavern really high up.
I prefer fights like these rather than the perfect no hit fights. Simply because there's that tension and moment where you might die if you don't act quick. Its much more entertaining than the block and counter ones most people seem to be posting now and days. I wanna see a fight, not a stating contest.
RIGHT, a boss fight where you're trading blows is so much more exciting then no hit boss fights.

Thank you! Especially the BBS no-hit boss fights. Dudes just spam mind shield over and over again and then spam Ven/Aqua's invincible dodge roll moves so the boss never lands a blow. Then somehow the fight is like 20+ mins long -_-

Okay, I played the fight on Critical and I still don't get why people think it's so hard, then again, I made sure I had all of Terra's busted attacks before facing him, Ars Solum is so cool.
@@nathanevans1382 It's basically because Terra's dodge is absolutely atrocious and Xehanort just super armors through everything.
The most reliable way to beat him is to spam guard and counter attack, which is kinda boring.
@@servebotfrank4082 I didn't have to spam guard and Terra's dodge is pretty busted if you use it right, not like Aqua's dodge, but it sends you quite far. I got scared as hell when I reached this fight during my Critical Mode run and I was kinda surprised by how fun it was, considering everyone else thought it was a nightmare. That could just be me though, I have a LOT of unpopular opinions.

I loved Terra throughout this game already, but when he simply REFUSED TO DIE and stayed behind in his awesome armor with THIS SONG playing, it cemented him as my favorite character in the whole series.

People only hate Terra because they have an already meta understanding of kingdom hearts. Terra is obviously gonna have trust in Xehanort if Xehanort is his masters closest friend, hes not like us players who already have a basic understanding of the plot. Imo Terra was one of the most realistic characters this series has given us.

The only disappointment in this is that Terra isn’t an official Keyblade Master. Dude is able to hold his own against two aged Masters and Vanitas, but he’s not a Master though.
I remember being so hyped to see the Secret Movie in KH2. I’m thinking “Wow, I may actually get to play a Keyblade Master from the old days”.

Have any of you ever wondered what would've happened if Terra just ran off towards Ventus/Vanitas and Aqua in the middle of Xehanort's monlogue? Like, "And now, it's time for the final union!" and Terra is already clubbing Vanitas over the head with his Keyblade. Would Xehanort's heart just kind-of dissipate without a body to possess in its immediate proximity, ooooor what?
The body will replace the heart with whatever it can right away so without terra nearby his heart would go back into his body right away the body just needs a heart and Xehanort would definitely go back to try again later

Terra's final battle feel like the true final fight of bbs more than aqua's one in the secret chapter.

I always thought Terra was the true main protagonist of this game.
He grapples with and is tempted by Xehanort the most and suffers the most from his betrayal. This battle is literally the perfect way for him to make a truly epic "protagonist's last stand." If that isn't enough to convince you, Terra has the highest attack power of the three main characters (Aqua's strongest asset is her magic, Ventus's his speed). And he USED THE POWER OF DARKNESS FOR THE SIDE OF GOOD. How often do u see that anywhere?

I love that last fight. Terra's heart was so easy for Xehanort to take over. But Terra's denial of that darkness and his refusal to be used by him is just....call me a nerd but I just think thats some deep stuff. Great game, great story.
21:00 Does anyone know what song plays during that final cutscene? I couldn't find it anywhere and it's such a great piece to play as Terra's tragic story comes to an end.

Unlikely. Terra's body, heart, and will have been separated into Ansem, Xemnas, and the Lingering Will, as you prolly know. This is not mentioning the fact that Xehanort has near total control over all these beings, with exceptions being Xemnas' recognition of Aqua's armor and Ventus. Even if they were reunited, they would need to expel Xehanort out of his body for Terra to regain control of himself.
Zeta Centauri Literally not one letter of your comment explains why it's unlikely. "They would need to expel the main antagonist of the series out of his body in the last entry of the series". Like, no shit, defeating and "expelling" Xehanort is obviously what the whole series is leading to anyway, and the whole series is a bunch of random magical shit anyway, so why wouldn't they be able to re-unite his bits and expel Xehanort?

20:58 always inspires me to do more in life. I always come back to this video, especially for this part. Everyone was saying Terra had darkness within and he wasn’t worthy of being a master.. but only Kingdom Hearts (God) saw Terra defeat a master. Even if no one else approves of Terra, the clouds closing meant Kingdom Hearts has seen what it needed to see and is satisfied with Terra, the Lingering Will.
And at that moment, (11:10) Terra became a SUPER SAIYAN!!!

Quick solution to the whole series: Give Xehanort a copy of Unchained X so that he can see what the world was like before the Keyblade War!

IMO, the last fight against Terranort shows how broken BBS’s combat really is. He can block in the middle of your move, start his own move in the middle of your move, heal in the middle of your move. There’s no variety, you’re largely relegated to using shotlock to avoid his desperation moves and hoping he doesn’t use Ars Solum to interrupt you whenever he wants.

Xehanort's past is really strange. When he was young, he seemed really calm and didn't succumb to the darkness. However, in his old age, he's insane, killed his best friend and his students for a weapon and extracted a part of one of the students's heart, ultimately damaging it. Edit: big personality change with hint of puberty if you ask me.
That's what clinging onto dangerous obsessions get to you.

I feel as though a bunch of the issues the characters have in this game kind of stems from aqua
she seems so stedfast to her masters teachings that she treats all things dark with extreme question, if aqua had consoled him instead of try and watch over him, I'm certain that terra could have followed the same path as riku
Brendan Cason Riku went full evil first though before he changed, and he still spent a while fighting off Ansem. Terra just doesn't think before he acts first that was the real issue
That happened because Aqua never put Sora through the Inheritance Ceremony, if that had happened then Riku would never went evil.
Riku's got to do the ceremony because of Terra,Sora got his keyblade from Ventus
+Sambath Nop actually in DDD sora keyblade is actually riku keyblade. But riku fell to darkess; so the keyblade went to the nearest person which is sora.
Even sora knew the keyblade didn't choose him.
As for ven keyblade. sora does have it but, he wasn't aware of its existence. Even during drive forms he doesn't question it.

I love when games do that. They make a character beat your ass first and then later in a future game you get to play as him. They did the same with Smash now you can play as the master hand. All the times I died to lingering will in kh2. Playing as him in bbs was so awesome.

The reason why Xehanort is so easy in the first part is because he's not giving it his all. Everything was going according to plan, so he was holding back on purpose. Then Terra reawakens as the Lingering Will, so Xehanort has to get rid of this unexpected complication before it messes his plans up. The final phase is the only time Xehanort fights seriously.

Since Terra's body got flung off into another world but the armor still remained with all that light shimmering around it from the X-blade eruption..
Did the armor absorb the X-blade, or at least a portion of it? You see the light on the ground converging into Terra's armor at the end.
Might explain why it's so powerful in KH2

this will forever be the most emotional part for me in any kh game. terra was the 2nd character i played in bbs and i spent over 40 hours in his story alone levelling him, exploring shit i missed in aqua's story (1st playthrough) and just generally experiencing the game properly rather than trying to speedrun it all. no matter what happens, i will always see terra as the best, and my favourite, kh character to exist. i mean, yeah, i started with bbs but that won't change the fact that terra is just infinitely better than any other kh character, be it sora, riku, roxas, ventus whatever. #TERRADIDNOTHINGWRONG
Lingering will is my favorite because of terra. The fact that Terra’s will to save everyone is so strong that it manifests into its own entity. Crazy . #TERRADIDNOTHINGWRONG
