Ben Hope. Scotland’s most northerly Munro... and a bit of a brute on the bike.

- Ben Hope back in July, having just returned from our Eurotrip. I was eager to jump back on the Munro Bandwagon and show people I hadn't forgotten my first love.
With my son and wife back at the truck, I made an early attack on the mountain, capturing the days best light and was back at the truck before 9am.
A few nice sections of riding, but overall I wouldn't take the bike back up.
Done that on foot 7-8yrs ago and yeah, fair play for riding as much as you did. Beautiful up there though..
Is beautiful. Something ive noticed in recent years though, is that i like being amongst other mountains.
@@GrizzlyMunroDiaries yeah, in hindsight I was up there on a week long holiday. Its a helluva long way to head up for a very solitary munro. View looking back from Tongue causeway towards Ben Hope is a favourite so hope you got a glimpse
Yeah we were up there for the same. We've a few secret spots up that way that we will happily stay in for 3-4 days.
Indeed we did. We had an awesome dinner there the night before this Munro and the sky was absolutely incredible.
Fair play Sean that did not look easy at all. Have passed that munro a few times when out on my motorbike doing the North Coast loop and often wondered what it would be like. I think I'll give it a miss after watching that tho 😂
Yeah its certainly not one id be in a hurry to do again haha
