Inaccessible Pinnacle... with the bike.
After clambering up and over the Inn Pinn with the bike for 265th Munro, it was time to make my way down the West Ridge of Sgurr Dearg.

Thats no the Cairngorms , its the Atholl hills. Learn more about the places you go and pay less attention to Walkhighlands and gps.
Some achievement mate, hats off, RESPECT 🙏
What bike is it ?
On it arkid 💪
Where wis Ben Vane in this anaw? Ye could've easily just cattled the 2 they're right next tae each other, poor
😮💨
You seem very nervous going over rocks. Very wobbly too.
Wow this place looks like so much fun to ride down
Glen Affric? Not many Munros that have a dry stone wall along the summit ridge!
Not too far off. Glen Dessary for a big old day out.
@@GrizzlyMunroDiaries That's the one I meant! Always get them mixed up 😅 Will never forget the pain of walking those three.
@natalieminnis it was a savage day. Hard fought. 10 hour loop.
The views! The motherfucking views! 😯
Absolutely insane!!
Midgie porridge is a proper mtb breakfast. Nice one from Newburgh Grizzly 😉
@i-am-vonnegut the best way to start the day 😂
Get the bike painted in a winegums dedication 😂
I wouldn't be against it 🤷♂️😂
Brilliant video mate
Been looking forward to this one. I spoke to you that day on the way up. It was a cracking day for it. Great video keep them coming
Ah Nice one, yeah I remember. You have a good day out? Looked like Sauchiehall Street up there by lunchtime 😂
Hard work but looks easy when you do it! Well done!
I'm not sure I make it look easy🤷♂️ mayb more that I get some weird enjoyment out of the suffering involved 😂
Absolutely love what you do mate. Fair play. I’m currently starting to ride the Lake District fells, in preparation for some Munro’s. Keep it up pal 👍🏻🤘🏻
Thanks dude! If I'm inspiring people to take to the hills, then I'm a happy man! Maybe catch you on a mountain one day 👊
Amazing! I’ve climbed it but couldn’t bike it - nice one man :-)
An incredible place! I'm nervous about Liatach though.
@@GrizzlyMunroDiaries Yeah - it’s pretty full on. Stunning, but I’m not sure there much riding up there…. I’m sure you’ll have fun finding out tho :-) This was my wee vid from Beinn Eighe when I was up - climbing Beinn Alligin a week on Sat - cannae wait to get back up - love Torridon - it’s just magic. th-cam.com/video/rXnnqsYhoZc/w-d-xo.html
9:32 Is such a cool shot
That’s such a nice trail and view
Was an incredible day out.
Where is this?
Beinn Eighe, Torridon
WTF
Fair play...really felt for you when the brake went! Great experience and expertly done to get down 🤙
Yeah it was a bit of a bummer after last years mechanicals too. I felt in a good place and ready to give it my everything.
I can’t believe that! Talk about bad luck! That section had zero grip. Was bad enough with two brakes. Mad props for just getting down the bottom.
Madness. Second corner 😂 yeah man, it was a bit sketchy in places. There was a couple of time I hit the gas up top and then thought... how can I fix this if it goes wrong. Then I had to really use all the berms when I hit blue doon as the front kept washing out 😂
Always great vids & a pleasure tae watch!! 🏴✌️
Thank you, really appreciate that 🙌
Your video quality is getting better. One hell of a wicked hard trail. Great riding.
Thanks man, really appreciate that. Always trying to improve.
Great video bud as always and what a stunning looking bike. Enjoy 👌👌
Isn't she just! And thank you
Absolute beast of a bike 👊🏼… great vid
Thank you. Bike is incredible
Awesome! Was nice to hear you speak your mind through the ride. Good stuff!
Thanks man, I get mixed reactions when I talk through videos. I'm certainly not a natural 😂
Which is worse going up or coming down? 😮
❤Living the dream 😍☝️
Chasing the Dream 👌👊
where abouts in scotland is that?
Sgurr Nan Coireachan, Glenfinnan
Looks fun
i agree
Alot of fun 👌
Terrific memory making experience for you and Jaxson, the Cairngorms has got so much to explore and lots of other bothies to stay in, great stuff thanks for sharing!
Absolutely. Couldn't have said it better myself.
just come across this channel, so good you do this. I do the same stuff with my little one, he's only 3 tho so he's not quite as good a tax on a bike.
Awesome to have you on board! Get yourself a Kids Ride Shotgun Seat, best purchase I've ever made in 25 years of mountain biking👊
Great! More of this is these sour times. ❤
🙌🙌🙌
What an epic adventure to have with your little guy 🤙💪😃
The best! I think camping still has his heart though 😂
Brilliant! Well done man for doing this. Patience is needed.. even little trip is a big expedition isn't..🙂 Good that you had that fresh snow downhill second day.. Great to see how excited he was. Cycled to Bob Scott's with my daughter maybe 5 years ago. Nice little bothy, often busy but remember we had the place for ourselves that night.
Yeah it was a great trip. We also had company at Bob Scott's, another 3 gents arrived later in the day. I think camping is still Jax favourite.
cheesed the whole time watching this. Jax is a unit in that snow, such incredible memories for you both. This is so great!
It didn't phase him at all. Just kept on trucking 😂
I enjoyed that virtual descent! Definitely a better way down than the other way, over Faochaig, or "What the Faochaig!" as I now call it. Just a huge steep stone staircase that seems to go on for ever.
Yeah that was always a possibility but when on my way over I seen just how steep it was. It wouldn't have been a great choice after climbing up such a good trail. Glad I made the call. Thank Faochaig for that 😂
@@GrizzlyMunroDiaries 🤣
Nice vid dude. New Subcriber here. Ride on
Thanks man! Nice one 👊👊
Yes mate!
👊👊
massahhooosive bawz.. respect.... might join you....need some madness.. might.... have your tried spike or studded tyres ? might help a lot.. ? resident in kyle bike mad,a and can do. keen in fact.
I though cycling down asfalt Road from sidlaws was bad enough 🙄😑😁 crazy bugger 🤗
Why not 😁
Fair effort that pal 💯👍
Sweet Jesus that looked horrific up there Sean you did right getting down from up there. It will be there for another visit 👍
I still managed to reach the summit. Unfortunately i had to cut my longer route short. I wanted to continue around the horseshoe and descend from the second Munro. Still an ample opportunity to return to Glenfinnan.
I'd love to see the look of utter confusion on the face of someone finding tyre tracks in the snow up there.
Haha i cant imagine anyone would have seen any of them. Tracks were covering pretty damn fast.
That was hardcore!!!!
It was a bit of a wild one. Shame about the riding though.
What do you use for navigation mate ? Those conditions up high looked like a white out .
Hey Paul, typically map and compass but i also have a gps watch. Working on something new soon to keep things a bit easier.
